# Which productivity bot tools are worth using for a sales team that wants to automate CRM data entry, follow-up reminders and pipeline updates so reps focus on selling?

Zapier (4.5 stars, 2,083 reviews): The most popular for SMB and mid-market sales teams. Reviewers automate Salesforce lead updates, task creation, and follow-up notifications across Slack and other tools, cutting the repetitive manual entry reps hate.

Workato (4.7 stars, 777 reviews): The enterprise pick, keeping Salesforce, SAP, and other systems synced in real time and eliminating manual data entry at scale.

Make (4.6 stars, 332 reviews): A lower-cost visual option for smaller sales teams, though reviewers name fewer specific CRM workflows than Zapier's.

What sales busywork did you automate away, and did reps trust the CRM data afterward? And did anyone regret the tool once the pipeline logic got complex?

CRM data entry and follow-up reminders are the easiest wins to automate, and reps tend to trust the data more when it's updated automatically rather than relying on manual input. Where tools tend to strain is when pipeline logic gets complex; conditional branching and multi-system syncs are where simpler platforms hit their ceiling.
