## IGEL Reviews
  ### 1. Igel over-promises and under-delivers

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wes L. | System Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2024

**What do you like best about IGEL?**

They are locked down so the user can't make changes to the OS. Other than that there is really nothing to like.

**What do you dislike about IGEL?**

Hardware is expensive, the endpoint OS is bloated in size and ugly in appearance. Screen layout controls are not user friendly. Citrix and AVD client apps are not stable (especially AVD). The UMS keeps getting fresh coats of paint and gets slower each time they do it. Cloud management is an Add-on when it should be a standard feature. Hardware is expensive, more than a mid-range desktop PC. There is really no compelling use case for Igel for those who already have M365 licenses. Save your money, buy PCs and cloud manage them with Intune.

**What problems is IGEL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None

  ### 2. Vdi migration using IGEL

Very granular. Intuitive dashboard. Able to assign policies on groups.

**What do you dislike about IGEL?**

Updates sent to the device are sometimes delayed.

**Recommendations to others considering IGEL:**
