What do you like best about IBM Instana?

I use IBM Instana for real-time full-stack observability across our cloud-native and microservice architecture, acting as a central node system for application performance monitoring. It solves the problem of blind spots in complex environments and makes tracking everything from the browser and user experience much easier. The standout feature for me is the automatic discovery and dependency mapping. Additionally, the setup was quite easy and didn't take us too long to complete. "My Review on Instana"
5/5
What do you like best about IBM Instana?

IBM Instana is playing a key role in my current project. It has good ease of use and ease of implementation during the monitoring of various websites. It also supports me in providing a wide range of support for customers while resolving queries. It has a wide number of features for good ease of integration during migration activities and deployments. It is frequently used because of its optimistic features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Instana?

As a support executive, I find that while IBM Instana offers powerful features, it can be complex for us to set up, and it has some high pricing for consumption. Its data consumption also makes it challenging to focus on critical issues. During deployments or migration activities, it is complex to monitor the websites and nodes and solve the issues. What do you like best about IBM Instana?

The best part is that everything is done automatically with its artificial intelligence, and the best part is that it correlates all events using artificial intelligence to determine the root cause. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Instana?

The only problem I've found is that you can't exclude invalid alarms, and you still have to do it manually and slowly to configure exceptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A streamlined and effective approach to tracking and debugging."
5/5
What do you like best about IBM Instana?

One thing I really like about Instana is how quickly you can get insights without a ton of setup. The interface is straightforward, and it’s easy to follow what's going on across different services. For us, it's been really helpful during debugging, you can trace the calls, check the logs, and see where something might be going wrong. I also like how, during load testing, you can actually watch the server handle requests in real time and get a clear view of how many are succeeding or failing. It just makes troubleshooting a lot more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Instana?

There isn’t much to complain about, especially since the high CPU usage issue has improved quite a bit recently. That used to be a challenge during debugging and load testing, but it’s been much better lately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Instana! RealTime Insights Done Right"
4.5/5
What do you like best about IBM Instana?

What I like best about IBM Instana is how effortless it makes monitoring complex applications. The automatic discovery of services and dependencies saves a ton of setup time, and I don’t have to manually configure dashboards, it just maps everything out for me. The real-time visibility is also a big win; if something goes wrong, I can quickly trace the root cause without digging through endless logs. It feels very modern compared to traditional APM tools, and the UI makes it easy to navigate even when the environment is huge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Instana?

there’s a lot of data and metrics, and the learning curve is steeper than some lighter monitoring tools. The pricing can also be on the higher side if you’re running it across many services. In some cases, the UI feels a bit busy, and it takes time to tune alerts so they’re meaningful and not just noise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Instana?

Honestly when I first visit the IBM Instana I am a little bit confused I am trying to figure out things I think it's due to the UI which is a little confusing for me and I asked my teammates and all DevOps team we found the price could be a little bit lower for a small team like ours we can't afford high price sadly we can also discuss and figure out something like in IBM Instana that some services take much time to load that's annoying for us it's canceled improved for better performance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
