**What do you like best about HPAM Migration Assistant?**

I started my carrier with HPAM and HPSM, both the application earlier belong to Peregrine software later acquired by HP. I started working with version 5.11 later on migrated to 9.31. Both the applications are very unreliable. They have Window and Web console. Most of the time we faced issue for Web console was in-accessible. We face performance issues of big report generation.

**What do you dislike about HPAM Migration Assistant?**

Licensing cost is very high.
Web console is very unreliable.
Even a single customization take a down time to take effect.
Performance was very poor.
SAM module is of no use needs lot of developments.

**Recommendations to others considering HPAM Migration Assistant:**

It was good for asset data migration but not good for software. Bargain a lot with HP for Licensing cost. HP support is not very good.

**What problems is HPAM Migration Assistant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UI was good at that time in compare to other applications from BMC, CA.
Web console UI was very nice and interactive but very slow.
Lots of logs need to be traced to track a single issue.
