**What do you like best about HotSchedules?**

This application helped me schedule, forecast and receive financial aid and info for my restaurant in Northern Virginia. The system is either web-based or a cell phone app that allowed my staff to access information anywhere and for me to see info on real time. The performance get a lot better with each update. I pay about $3 a month for each user. The support is very easy when needed. The AI is slowly growing but should be helpful in a few years.

**What do you dislike about HotSchedules?**

The system feels a bit antiquated, but it is slowly adapting to a newer generation. The AI isn’t particularly efficient. That said, my staff find it easy to schedule their days and make the necessary changes when needed.

**What problems is HotSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage a team of FOH and BOH staff, and I’m responsible for figuring out how to run the restaurant day to day. I also need to forecast how busy we’ll be and plan staffing accordingly, while still staying within my budget.

Our restaurant was open, extended hours, and due to a shift in the programming. It caused some issues in labor analysis because close of day was set earlier than Our close

Fantastic way to keep all the staff schedules/time off organized. Also like the way the staff can swap schedules.

**What do you dislike about HotSchedules?**

Nothing really to dislike that I have found at this time.

When someone needs to call out, they can have others pick up the shift, and the shift does not struggle by a call out or no show.

User friendly. Mobile app available, saves a ton of time

Not much to dislike.  Set up is difficult, but expected

Schedule issues resolved, saves time, no missed shifts, lost papers, etc

**What do you like best about HotSchedules?**

Most helpful is ease of use! The program is intuitive, easy to use, and very user friendly for staff. I also love the effortless shift swap, approval, and roster features!

**What do you dislike about HotSchedules?**

I'm still working on figuring out the hours for employees as there seems to be a discrepancy, and I'm sure it's an easy fix that I haven't been able to dig into yet.

**Recommendations to others considering HotSchedules:**

Just do it!

Problems solved: ease of shift swapping, asking for time off, and managing potential overtime. It has definitely helped to streamline our labor costs.

Simplicity of design and operation. This functionality needs to be easy for a restaurateur to operate and they do this in spades.

I have yet to interact with a piece of the scheduling software that I have issues with.

Hot Schedules makes organizing staff information quite easy and reduces the time required to update and communicate with staff.

They are very responsive. My business requires problems to be reolved quickly and they are always in touch to assist.

surprisingly none! I was able to get all my issues resolved quickly

If you are looking to control your expenses as well as have a powerful tool to allocate labor this is the solution for you!

Scheduling is the main issue as it related to controlling labor.

How often the software is update, it feels like you have to constantly learn all over again.
