## About Hootsuite
Most teams are still working with tools and workflows built for a different time — dashboards, approvals, and disconnected systems that slow them down. Many have added AI, but haven’t changed how work gets done. Social moves too fast for that. It’s why we rebuilt Hootsuite with AI as a foundation, not a feature. Hootsuite Social OS helps teams go from reacting after the moment has passed to acting in real time with AI that makes it as easy as chat. That’s how we’re transforming the way teams move, decide, and grow. Less time navigating software. More time acting on ideas. That’s the future we’re building. --- Hootsuite Social OS gives marketing, communications, and insights teams a connected system to detect what's shaping their brand in real time, understand what it means, and coordinate action across the organization before the window of opportunity closes. Hootsuite Social OS is a strong fit for marketing, communications, brand, and social strategy teams that need social intelligence connected directly to execution across the business, not another listening dashboard to monitor in isolation — so they can move at the speed of social and stay ahead. Hootsuite Key Features \> Real-time social intelligence: Lumen helps you detect the signals shaping your market, from brand perception and emerging trends to competitive moves and consumer shifts, surfacing the insights that matter and helping you act on them before the window of opportunity closes. \> Conversational AI orchestration layer: Ask Wisdom questions in plain language and get cited, actionable answers grounded in your live social data, brand context, and historical performance. And it’s all as easy at chat. \> Connected publishing and planning: With Perch, you can turn insights into scheduled or published content in minutes — without switching tabs or losing context. Unified customer care: Manage comments, messages, and mentions across channels in one place through Nest, with AI-assisted responses and workflow routing. \> Employee advocacy: Turn your most trusted voices — your people — into brand ambassadors. Parliament enables them to easily share on-brand content with their own networks to extend reach and reduce paid media dependency. MCP connectors for Lumen, Perch, and Nest bring Hootsuite Social OS capabilities into the AI tools teams already use, including Claude and ChatGPT. So teams can draft, schedule, publish, engage, and measure across all their channels via Hootsuite without spending every day in a dashboard, calendar, or compose box.

## Hootsuite Reviews
 ### 1. Convenient, User-Friendly Platform with a Great Content Planner

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Callum S. | Digital Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite's greatest strength lies simply in its convenience. The interface is very user-friendly; it took a very short amount of time to learn it when we first onboarded. I think the value of what you pay for in the subscription fee is very fair, for the sheer amount of features the platform offers alone. My favourite feature would be the content planner, as it is perfect for locating historic posts, as well as keeping a consistent schedule. The AI used to edit captions is good overall, certainly customisable. I have not tested Hootsuite under a heavy workload, due to the nature of what we use it for, however in the time I have used it, I have never encountered a performance-based issue, the platform is fast and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I wouldn't say that there is any particular downside of using Hootsuite, however, I would say that I have noticed various issues with social media accounts being unlinked from Hootsuite repeatedly, which is quite inconvenient to fix. I couldn't say confidently whether it is a well-known issue or one that is due to integration issues, but it would certainly be the biggest negative experience I've had with Hootsuite.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Hootsuite, every social media post had to be done manually of course, which by itself in one week of social media posts doesn't save much time. It's only when you look back after using the tool for weeks that you realise you probably wouldn't be able to happily work without it, due to the simple convenience of it. Naturally, tools such as Meta Business Suite offer direct analytics just like Hootsuite can, but at a far more broad lense in my opinion, whereas Hootsuite can give you very detailed insights into social media performance, also solving the problem of vague insights.

 ### 2. Affordable, Easy-to-Use Social Media Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melody L. | Marketing and Communications Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for social media management, analytics, and competitor research. I like that I can post ahead of time using the social schedule and track analytics, which helps me make a biweekly report based on our Instagram and LinkedIn analytics. The ability to look at our competitors and see what thought leadership we should share is also valuable. I find Hootsuite very easy to use and appreciate its affordability. The app is a great feature because it allows me to check or edit my posts. The social posting is simple, and I can save drafts if I'm not ready. I value the app functionality a lot because I can double-check my posts and make edits or reschedule without having to log into my laptop. Moving to Hootsuite was easy, and the initial setup was incredibly straightforward. Additionally, the pricing is appealing, which was a factor in switching from Oktopost.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think that there could probably be more advanced tools like employer advocacy ones and also the tagging sometimes does not work with finding people or companies.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can post ahead on the social schedule and track analytics for biweekly reports. Competitor research is easier, and I can double-check posts and reschedule them from the app. Hootsuite is very easy to use and affordable, enhancing my workflow.

 ### 3. Your Social Content Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco P. | Energy Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

We monitor important metrics such as follower growth and post reach, and our Amplify program had a revenue increase of 250% YoY. At the heart of Hootsuite Social OS is our unifying framework. As well as social media platforms like X and TikTok, Hootsuite connects with vital business tools.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Sometimes, due to the way social network APIs work, you've got to deal with the frustration of having to reconnect your social profiles.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content teams love the fact that they can get content out there much more quickly and easily, with the AI chatbot dealing with up to 80% of customer service tasks, which makes life so much easier. We keep an eye on important metrics like follower growth and post reach, and our Amplify program has seen a 250% revenue increase year-on-year.

 ### 4. All-in-One Social Media Scheduling Made Easy with Hootsuite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colby D. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite offers everything a social media manager needs in one place. Scheduling posts ahead of time is paramount to alleviate some of the forethought that goes into strategizing. It's affordable for any team, so purchasing Hootsuite should be no issue for anyone. Its AI features are improving over time, and I've found myself using OwlyGPT for more and more content ideas for complex subjects. And the fact that it posts to nearly every social media platform makes it easy to manage everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Support is not always quick. Sometimes when I have issues it takes some time to hear back from a representative. I also think the Ai feature could use some work.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is helping me not have to worry about what I'm going to post next week or the week after. It also provides extremely helpful analytics that I use in all of my planning meetings with my team.

 ### 5. RSS Feed and Bulk Scheduling Make News Posting Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shanya D. | Social Media Manager, Newspapers, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I manage social media for The Statesman a Delhi based newspaper site, so there's always a constant flow of news posts going out during the day. RSS feed feature is very useful for me because it pulls website posts directly into dashboard and saves a lot of manual work. I also use bulk scheduling pretty often when there are multiple new updates lined up together. It makes my work more manageable during busy day.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

A few really useful apps and integrations are locked behind premium addon subscription. Sometimes that becomes difficult because extra approvals are needed internally before we can use certain features, even when they would genuinely help the team.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us handle daily news publishing in a more manageable way. Since timing matters a lot in media, being able to schedule posts quickly and manage everything from one site saves time and reduces repetitive work for our social media team.

 ### 6. Efficient Social Media Management with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittney E. | Founder, Recreational Facilities and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to plan and schedule posts in advance, which allows me to alleviate doing so much in one day or even one sitting. It helps me focus on other priorities without worrying about publishing them manually. I love that I don't have those 'Home Alone' moments when a post is due. It keeps me consistent on social media without having to be online when the post gets published. Having my content and performance calendar tracked in one place is great. I also appreciate the analytics that help me understand what's working, what isn't, and how I can improve my strategy. Hootsuite is like a one-stop shop for managing social media, making it organized and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite packs a lot into one platform, which is great, but it can also make it feel a little busy at times. Depending on what I am working on, I occasionally have to click through multiple sections to find what I need. Once things are set up, I will say that it works well, but I think simplifying the interface or making certain tools easier to access would create an even smoother experience.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps me schedule posts in advance, easing daily workload and keeping my social media presence consistent. It allows me to manage content in one place, focusing on other priorities, with analytics enhancing my strategy by showing what's effective.

 ### 7. Hootsuite Makes Scheduling and Analytics Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite saves me a lot of time by letting me schedule content in advance across multiple platforms. I also like the recommended posting times and the analytics, which make it easy to track performance and optimize my content strategy.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

My experience signing up wasn't the best. I initially subscribed to the Standard plan but quickly realized I needed the Professional plan. Unfortunately, there's no option in between, so it meant an increase of about $200 per month. As a small business owner who works primarily with nonprofit clients, that's a significant jump in cost, but I was prepared to make the investment.

The frustrating part was the upgrade process. I couldn't reach support through the live chat because it kept telling me I needed to log in, even though I was already logged into my account. I ended up sending a message through Facebook instead, where someone was eventually able to help resolve what turned out to be an issue on Hootsuite's end.

While I appreciated that the problem was fixed, I was disappointed with the customer service experience. Given that the issue wasn't caused by me and I was upgrading to a much more expensive plan, I had hoped there might be some type of discount or goodwill gesture. Instead, the response was essentially, "Sorry, we can't do that," which left me feeling a bit undervalued as a new customer.

I previously used AgoraPulse, and their team took the time to work with me directly to create a custom package based on the number of users I actually needed, rather than limiting me to a standard plan on their website. Because of that experience, it was disappointing that Hootsuite dismissed the possibility of a more tailored solution so quickly. Even if a discount or custom plan wasn't possible, I would have appreciated a more collaborative approach to finding an option that fit my business.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage social media for multiple clients, so having everything in one platform makes my workflow much more efficient. Being able to schedule content in advance across all of my accounts saves me a significant amount of time and helps me stay organized. I also find it much safer than posting directly through Meta Business Suite, where it's much easier to accidentally post to the wrong account or make other publishing mistakes. Hootsuite gives me confidence that everything is going to the right place at the right time.

 ### 8. Easy to Learn Social Media Management with Powerful Analytics and Teamwork

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie B. | Communications associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like it because it is very easy to use and learn, as well as teach others. Another reason I like Hootsuite is its analytics features. The platform provides insights about engagement, audience growth, and post performance, which helps users understand what content works best. These tools are useful for improving communication strategies and creating stronger connections with audiences. Hootsuite also supports teamwork by allowing multiple people to collaborate on campaigns and content planning.

Overall, I like Hootsuite because it combines creativity, organization, and analytics into one platform. It simplifies social media management while helping users communicate more effectively and professionally online.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The only thing I dislike about Hootsuite is the cost. Many of the advanced features, such as detailed analytics, team collaboration tools, and managing multiple accounts, are only available through paid plans. For students, small businesses, or individuals with limited budgets, the pricing can feel expensive compared to other social media management platforms. The free version also has restrictions that limit how useful it can be for larger projects.

I also find that scheduled posts do not always perform as well as content posted directly through social media apps. Some platforms limit certain features when third-party scheduling tools are used, which can affect engagement and content quality. Additionally, occasional technical issues or connection problems between accounts can be frustrating.
Overall, while Hootsuite is powerful and professional, its complexity, pricing, and occasional limitations make it less appealing for some users.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the problem of managing multiple social media accounts separately. Without a platform like Hootsuite, users would need to log into each app individually to create posts, respond to messages, and track performance. This can take a lot of time and make it difficult to stay organized. Hootsuite brings everything into one dashboard, making social media management more efficient and convenient.

One of the biggest problems Hootsuite solves is time management. The scheduling feature allows users to plan and automate posts in advance, which helps maintain a consistent online presence without needing to post manually every day. This benefits me because it reduces stress and helps me stay organized while balancing school, work, and other responsibilities.

Hootsuite also solves the problem of tracking audience engagement and content performance. Its analytics tools provide insights into which posts are successful and how audiences interact with content. This benefits me by helping me improve communication strategies and create more effective posts.

Another benefit is collaboration. Hootsuite allows teams to work together on campaigns, approvals, and content planning in one place. Overall, Hootsuite benefits me by saving time, improving organization, and making social media communication easier and more professional.

 ### 9. Centralized Social Scheduling That Keeps Multi-Channel Campaigns on Track

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

We've been using Hootsuite to manage social media activities across multiple channels, regions, and campaigns, and it has become an important part of our day-to-day workflow.

What I appreciate most is the ability to plan, schedule, and manage content from a centralized platform. The calendar view makes it easy to maintain a consistent publishing cadence across channels, while approval workflows help ensure content is reviewed before publication. As someone working with multiple stakeholders, campaigns, and deadlines, having everything organized in one place saves significant time and reduces the risk of errors.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

If I could improve one thing, it would be the user experience for some advanced features. Certain reporting options, content customization requirements between platforms, and workflow settings can take time to learn. Performance can also occasionally feel slower when managing large volumes of scheduled content.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps us centralize social media management across multiple channels. It streamlines content planning, scheduling, approvals, community management, and reporting in one place, eliminating the need for multiple tools and manual processes. As a result, we save time, improve team collaboration, maintain a consistent publishing cadence, and gain valuable insights that help optimize our social media strategy.

 ### 10. Streamlined Workflows - Social Media Content Management and Reporting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kylie A. | Contributor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Streams within Hootsuite are very helpful for organization of content / posts across all social media platforms connected. URL uploading and condensing is seamless when creating social media posts and this aids in overall performance of month-to-month social media content calendar creation. Hootsuite support and onboarding was a breeze and the team members were able to quickly address all areas of concern. The AI capabilities within the platform have been a great overall addition especially in terms of data, analytics, and social media copy creation. Workflow on a day-to-day basis have been improved especially in the areas of quick data pulls, demographic and audience behavior, and content performance. Excellent UI / UX. The integrations of team workflows have been beneficial and the overall pricing for each team member is competitive within industry.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I do not enjoy the lack of API connection to seamlessly upload IG / FB Stories. I also believe there can be improvements at the general level for monitoring team member activity - such as how many times they are logging in, how many times they are viewing streams, and how many times they are generating reports.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is solving the problem of lack of data, reporting, and metrics insights that IG / Meta do not currently have at large. The demographic information and data is more insightful when compared and it is great to be able to lean into Hootsuite on a month-by-month and year-over-year basis across all social media platforms.

 ### 11. Top Notch Customer Care Backed By A Easy To Use Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seth M. | Customer Experience & Client Relations Marketing Consultant - Digital & Experientially Focused, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Aside from the readily available customer support provided by a dedicated account manager, the platform is relatively straight forward and easy to navigate for the most part. It also connects to my social channels easy for tracking purposes.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Could be a bit more robust in analytics as well as data retrieval. It tends to only pull a limited amount of historical data and not easy to do YoY metrics. I would like it to use AI in this respect to help pull some historical data and use it to compare to our competitors.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me put all the content being pushed out via the numerous social channels my team and I manage on a daily basis into one calendar. I can quickly see what content is going out, how often it’s being posted, and which channel it’s on. It also keeps the metrics in one place for easy viewing, and makes it simple to export them to other applications as well.

 ### 12. Hootsuite Saves Me Hours with Powerful Scheduling, Campaigns, and Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Farming | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love the ease of use and interactive design when I go to create a post. I love the way that each of the fields are broken down in an easy to navigate manner especially bulk uploading photos and being able to drag them around and arrange them in the order of my choosing. I also enjoy being able to open up seperate window panes to tweak post copy for different platforms even though I may be putting out a post across many channels on the same content which allows for personalization. My personal favorite features are the use of campaigns and tags. I am a social media manager for one company with many portfolios so the campaigns allow me to utm code our links that ladder up to each portfolio and the tags help my data analysis under each portfolio. For example, we have a Floral portfolio that I utm code our links to, I then can categorize the content with tags such as "Event" or "Award" or anything of that manner. Which leads me into the robust reporting system. I really enjoy how many different metrics I am able to pull and different report styles, being able to pick and choose the widgets that make my reports stand out is priceless. It makes my job easier! Overall, the Hootsuite scheduler and reporting interface save me hours for my job daily so this is not all manual or dealt with in different platforms. The price of the tool is worth the time and energy I save while using it.

I am diving deeper into the different AI integrations the platform has as well. My favorite feature is the recommended times to post, which in a previous time, would have taken manual data analysis to come up with.

The overall performance of the tool makes it invaluable. I know that I can count on it for all aspects of my work.

I do not use integrations currently with my workflow, but am interested in incorporating more.

The support and onboarding we got from the team was very helpful in the early days and now it feels like a well oiled machine. I know that I could reach out to a member of the team should I need further help.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I do not have many aspects of the tool that I dislike. I will say two things: I am in the new view of hootsuite and I do not think that it is as user friendly as the old view in terms of navigation. There are times that I struggle to find where I am wanting to go like getting to the analytics and reporting specifically. I also do not love the export options for reports. I do use the excel format quite a bit which is great but if I am looking to export a report that looks designed to stakeholders or higher ups, Hootsuite will export a powerpoint that just has individual graphs on slides and nothing else. I would enjoy a bit more interactivity with the tool before it exports so I do't have to completely redo it in powerpoint or in a pdf which is a pain.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before I was using hootsuite, managing social media was either a manual job or it was split into different tools, or the interfaces that I was using were not user friendly and designed in a way that made my job more efficient. Now with Hootsuite, I can schedule and manage content as well as teams who interact with content and give approvals when needed. As I mentioned before, reporting has also been a huge game changer. We have been hootsuite customers for years now so I have robust data to perform benchmarking and content analysis.

Before, I struggled with a workflow that was disjunct with other tools and now I have created efficiencies that ladder up to tracking, copywriting, schedule optimization and reporting which resulted in benefits across our organization like higher engagement results, more time to brainstorm content instead of scheduling.

 ### 13. Streamlines Social Management with Growing Pains

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for social content scheduling, reporting, organization, and leadership shareouts. I love the reporting suite and think that the way metrics/data is displayed is very user-friendly and digestible. The export feature makes it easy to share out these results in a clean, easy-to-understand way. The initial setup was really smooth, and the account manager I had at the time was helpful! We saw significant cost savings switching from Emplifi, and Hootsuite offers unlimited connections in the platform.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Understanding that a lot of the missing in-platform features rely on API connections, the reporting for platforms like Pinterest and YouTube could be improved to include a lot more metrics that those platforms include. Also, the lack of reporting on Stories (meta channels) is a big miss for us because we use those placements quite quickly. I'd like for there to be more congruent reporting that aligns with other metrics. Things like reach/impressions/clicks on Pinterest could be improved. The post previews are not available in the Planner for YouTube and those 'view' metrics could be better aligned with the data provided from other platforms.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to simultaneously post to hundreds of accounts, tag results for performance reporting, and organize content. The export feature makes reporting easy to share and understand. Competitor insights help benchmark performance, and the content library aids organization based on campaigns.

 ### 14. Intuitive, Practical, and Easy for Scheduling Posts and Reports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sergio P. | Regional Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Its very intuitive and practical, its not a technical and difficult tool, is very easy to use in every sense, for scheduling posts and getting reports

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

This might not be directly related to Hootsuite, but when you manage multiple accounts and want to review posts from previous months—or even just check the ongoing content—the layout can feel a bit confusing. That may be more due to my own lack of familiarity than the platform itself. Still, I’m able to navigate it well using the filters.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing multiple accounts at the same time is much easier with this. As a multicultural organization, we have to deliver content simultaneously across multiple countries, and this simplifies everything.

 ### 15. High-Performance Scheduling with an Intuitive UI and “Wisdom” AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

My favorite things about Hootsuite is the performance. I appreciate the ability to publish posts far in advance, and the ability to edit them even after pressing schedule. I also enjoy the UI/UX and find it to be easy to use especially with the built in "Wisdom" AI feature.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I'm not a huge fan of the "create a post" section where you select the accounts you wish to publish to. As a company with many accounts, when it stutters and slows down between selections - it can slow down progress when in a rush. It's not a huge ding, but something that I find repetitively annoying.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite has helped support my social media journey within the company I work for. As an intern, I found the onboarding videos to be informational and helpful in the learning process. I find it easy to use and the in-app integrations are extremely helpful for linking via Instagram, getting ideas and proofing socials via Wisdom, and the in-app analytics.

 ### 16. Efficient Social Media Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I enjoy using Hootsuite's post scheduler because it lets me write drafts, schedule content, and view an easy-to-navigate calendar for both short-term and long-term planning. The ability to set and forget posts by planning content all at once is great, allowing them to be released on a pre-set scheduled cadence without the need to log in and post live each time. This feature saves me time and makes the workflow much more efficient. The initial setup of Hootsuite was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I find the inbox with comments and messages a little clunky, especially when monitoring many accounts. Sometimes accounts will randomly disconnect from my setup, and I have to reconnect or link my social profiles before posting to them.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the issue of logging into multiple platforms by allowing me to post across channels from one place. I enjoy the post scheduler for setting and forgetting posts, which saves time and makes my workflow much more efficient.

 ### 17. Balanced & Professional - Recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donny P. | Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like best about Hootsuite is the ability to manage multiple social media accounts from a single dashboard.

The UI/UX is clean and highly intuitive; the drag-and-drop content calendar has massively streamlined our weekly scheduling workflow. In terms of Integrations, it syncs effortlessly with all major platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X) as well as Canva, which saves us from constantly switching tabs.

The software’s Performance is exceptionally stable, and scheduled posts go live reliably without lag. While the Pricing / ROI can feel a bit steep for smaller teams, the sheer amount of time saved weekly makes it a worthwhile investment that pays for itself.

Additionally, their Support / Onboarding resources were excellent, making it incredibly easy to train our new team members quickly. Finally, the built-in AI / Intelligence features have been an unexpected benefit, helping us quickly brainstorm engaging captions and optimal posting times when we hit a creative block.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

What I dislike most about Hootsuite is that the Pricing / ROI has become increasingly difficult to justify for smaller teams, as frequent price hikes don't always feel matched by new value.

From a UI/UX standpoint, the dashboard can feel quite cluttered and overwhelming for new users, which slows down the initial Support / Onboarding process. I've also noticed occasional Performance lag when loading heavy analytics reports or uploading large video files.

Regarding Integrations, token disconnections happen a bit too frequently, forcing us to constantly re-authenticate our social accounts. Finally, while the platform has added AI / Intelligence features, the AI caption generator can feel a bit generic; it would be highly improved if it allowed us to train it on our specific brand voice and past high-performing posts.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Hootsuite, we struggled with a highly fragmented workflow where we had to manually log in and out of five different social platforms to post content, leading to missed postings and inconsistent branding.

By implementing Hootsuite, we can now schedule an entire month’s worth of multi-channel content from a single, centralized dashboard. This has resulted in a measurable 10+ hours saved every week for our marketing team and a 25% increase in our overall posting consistency.

Additionally, we struggled to track cross-platform analytics efficiently, but now we can generate comprehensive, unified reports with a single click. This has allowed us to quickly identify our highest-performing content and pivot our strategy in real-time, giving us a much clearer picture of our digital marketing ROI.

 ### 18. Hootsuite Saves Us Time with Easy Scheduling, Smart AI, and Fast Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christ Church H. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite is a time saver. My team loves the ability to schedule a post once and it's available for all of our social media profiles. It's easy interface is perfect for even the least tech savvy of us, and we enjoy the diagnostic score summary to show where we can improve. The AI integrations helping situations where we can't come up with a creative caption for our post and we also like the inclusion of the non-official holidays on the calendar and incorporating them into our regularly scheduled posts. Onboarding new team members into Hootsuite is a breeze and we're very happy with how fast Hootsuite performs.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

It's more of an inconvenience than a dislike, but when our account(s) are disconnected from Hootsuite, we don't always get notified when it happens. But other than that there is no downside.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Hootsuite to keep track of our social media posts and to see how and when everything is scheduled. We use all ten account spots on our Hootsuite account, and it helps us get a clear picture of where our posts are falling short so we can spot gaps more easily.

 ### 19. Facilitate Network Management with Scheduled Posts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Felipe T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like about Hootsuite is that it allows us to post on our social networks without having to enter each one individually; everything is done in a single step. I love that it is a modern tool and it is really easy to make posts. I greatly value the ease of scheduling posts through a calendar, so we can plan ahead without having to enter the tool every day. Additionally, I found the initial setup very simple.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think it could be improved a bit more in terms of integration with other CRM tools, for example, HubSpot or Salesforce, so that they can be integrated more easily. I would also like an artificial intelligence tool where Hootsuite can provide suggestions regarding the audience we are targeting or certain types of posts, with a kind of feedback without having to analyze much.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite allows us to post on all our social networks in one step, making it easier to schedule future posts with a calendar. However, the integration with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce could be improved.

 ### 20. Efficient Scheduling with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raquel T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I really find Hootsuite useful for social media scheduling and coordinating posts across departments. It saves time and makes my work process more efficient by centralizing all my info, including posts and copy. I like its easy-to-use interface, which is accessible across many people. Logins are easy to handle, and I appreciate the option to sync many accounts to one account. The setup was super easy, with a quick sharing of logins.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Sometimes it glitches and can at random not upload certain posts, which is annoying, especially on weekends when no one is working. I think they should improve bugs and system updates more often.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite for social media scheduling and coordinating posts across departments. It saves time, makes my work process more efficient, and centralizes all my info, including posts and copy. It's also easy to use across many people.

 ### 21. Hootsuite - Jobs made easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SUHAS G. | Social Media Assitant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

It makes my everyday job of scheduling posts for my organisation much easier. I can publish across different platforms at the same time, which saves me a lot of effort. I can also monitor performance for each post, making it easier to track which posts are performing best on each platform. The AI feature helps by suggesting good, refined captions. The pricing offers great value, and the support I receive for my day-to-day scheduling tasks is very good.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Sometimes the tagging of posts could cause little bit of trouble while posting same post across different platforms. Let's say we want to tag particular person who is having a very common name then it gets difficult to find that person.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fact that I save lot of time and effort scheduling the posts in advance makes my job easier. I can schedule in whichever time I want. I can use the analytics to try understand how I can improve with my scheduling makes my job even more easier

 ### 22. All Our Social Accounts in One Place—Hootsuite Makes Scheduling Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like best about Hootsuite is having all of our social media accounts in one place. The scheduling calendar makes it easy to plan content in advance, review upcoming posts, and maintain a consistent presence across platforms. It saves me time each week and helps me stay organized when managing multiple campaigns and events.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I dislike that Hootsuite often cannot fetch or connect to our social media accounts, causing scheduled posts to fail. I then have to manually publish the content directly on each platform, which defeats the purpose of using a scheduling tool and disrupts my workflow.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps solve the challenge of managing multiple social media accounts and campaigns at once. Its scheduling and calendar features allow me to plan content in advance, organize posts for upcoming events, and maintain a consistent presence across platforms. This saves time and makes it easier to manage our overall social media strategy from one place.

 ### 23. Scheduling, Engagement & Analytics in One Dashboard That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha L. | Social Media Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I've been using Hootsuite for over two years at SocioGlitch, where I manage multiple client and UGC campaigns. I like most is having scheduling, engagement and analytics in one dashboard. Steams are especially helpful because I monitor campaign conversations and reply to comments without switching between different client accounts, which saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite recently launch social os new UI for website. It feels confusing than classic version. I still prefer using the classic layout because it's faster for my daily work.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite makes it much easier to manage multiple client accounts and campaigns from one place. It helps me stay on top of audience engagement, while the reporting tools make it easy to share campaign performance with clients and keep out workflows at SocioGlitch efficinet.

 ### 24. Hootsuite Makes Multi-Platform Scheduling and Content Ideas Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Senior Digital Marketing Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like that Hootsuite offers all the benefits of scheduling content--I've actually started using it instead of the native scheduling tools that Meta provides because Hootsuite is better. It's also great because all of our scheduled content across multiple platforms can be scheduled/viewed in one place. It also has great AI integrations that help plan hashtags and provide content ideas.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There honestly are no things that I actually dislike. Perhaps a price discount would be nice, but honestly, the pricing is fair for what you get. Or integrating even more platforms? (I'm thinking specifically Substack, since that is one channel we'd like to be able to schedule content for that we're not currently able.)

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that Hootsuite provides a benefit for is the scheduling tool. We produce a great number of content across channels, and having the ability to "set it and forget it" is much needed. There have been times when other native tools (Meta's Facebook, specifically) have failed in one way or another, or were buggy, and we were able to use Hootsuite without issue as an alternative.

 ### 25. Helpful Platform for Organized and Effective Social Media Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kelsey h. | Program Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

One of my favorite features is the recommended posting times, which has really helped improve engagement and take the guesswork out of scheduling. I also appreciate how the platform helps adjust and optimize content while still keeping the original message and ideas I want to get across.

The analytics and reporting tools are another huge plus. Being able to easily see which posts are performing well, how much traffic they’re bringing in, and overall engagement trends has made it much easier to understand what our audience responds to. Overall, it’s been a very helpful and user-friendly platform for managing and improving our social media presence.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

One frustration I’ve had with the platform is the approval process at times. Occasionally posts are rejected without clear suggestions or feedback on what specifically needs to be changed, which can make revisions difficult.

I’ve also run into issues where scheduled posts are still waiting on approval after the planned posting time has already passed. Once that happens, the post essentially expires and the intended timing and engagement opportunity are lost. A smoother approval workflow or clearer notifications around pending approvals would make the scheduling process much more efficient.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps keep our social media organized, efficient, and aligned with our company’s goals and messaging. It saves time through scheduling, performance tracking, and engagement recommendations, while the analytics make it easy to see what content is performing best and what our audience responds to most.

 ### 26. Scheduling, Reports, and a Unified Inbox That Make Social Reporting Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noelle P. | Social Media Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like the scheduling tools and the reports feature. It is very helpful when crafting my monthly and quarterly social reports. I also really like the automatic message feature and the combined inbox. It makes my job so much easier!

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I do not like that there is no feature to group Facebook profiles together. We have 27 locations that we cross post on and the site usually slows when we select all of them. Being able to select just one group would be fantastic.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am very thankful that Hootsuite provides a reliable service. The last scheduler we had would not post sometimes, and it was very unreliable. I am also thankful for the combined inbox, and the timed automatic messenger. It is very easy to see what comments/messages we have received in one place. When I am out of office, it ensures that our members will receive a response.

 ### 27. Helpful Upcontent Partnership, and Clear Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sue F. | Senior Brand Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love their partnership with Upcontent, it's been really helpful getting current content that fits with my brand's needs. Their reporting dashboards are helpful and clear. I can easily share performance with leaders and provide information quickly. I'm really happy with the level of support the brand offers and the products reliability.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I'm sad to see the end of individual account managers, this was something that was really necessary so many times throughout onboarding and throughout company changes. It felt like I lost a member of my social team. With that said though, I'm still feeling the same level of customer service through my upcontent team.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is helping me identify what posts are performing, and ideate helpful content for my audience. The addition of ow.ly ai has been a huge impact on ideation. The social listening element has been helpful in illustrating the impact of social for the brand.

 ### 28. Hootsuite: very comprehensive and centralized, but expensive and not always intuitive

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** yacine samy c. | data analyste, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like most about Hootsuite is its ability to centralize all social media management on a single platform. Scheduling posts, tracking messages, and analytics are very convenient for saving time on a daily basis. I also appreciate the numerous integrations available with other marketing tools and CRM, which greatly facilitate teamwork and task automation.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

What I like least about Hootsuite is mainly its price, which has become very high compared to other tools on the market. For small teams or freelancers, the cost is hard to justify. The interface can also seem quite cluttered and not very intuitive at first, with a real learning curve. Finally, customer support and some social integrations sometimes lack responsiveness, especially when there are connection issues with Instagram or TikTok.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite primarily solves the problem of managing multiple social networks by centralizing everything on a single platform. Instead of switching separately from Instagram to LinkedIn, Facebook, or TikTok, I can schedule my posts, respond to messages, and track performance from a single dashboard. However, the performance remains average, and the AI integration sometimes bugs.

 ### 29. The Ultimate Social Media Sidekick!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | Sales Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite makes managing social media an absolute breeze! It integrates perfectly with Linkedin. The user-friendly interface and intuitive dashboard allow me to easily implement a scheduled post, and share content effortlessly across multiple platforms. I love how easy it is to navigate, saving me time and keeping my social media strategy organized. Whether you're a small business owner or a social media pro, Hootsuite is a game-changer. Highly recommend, I use it very frequently!

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

What’s not to like? I only wish I’d discovered it sooner. It’s made it much easier to reach our audience using pre-made content from our marketing team, and the ability to set up automated shares for the future is a really great feature.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite has made crossposting and sharing my workplace’s content incredibly easy! The intuitive dashboard allows me to schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms seamlessly, saving time and ensuring consistency in our messaging. Since using Hootsuite, we’ve been able to reach more connections and expand our audience effortlessly. It’s been a huge asset in growing our online presence and engagement. Highly recommend for any team looking to streamline their social media strategy

 ### 30. Effortless Social Scheduling and Custom Metrics in Hootsuite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

With Hootsuite I can schedule all of my social clients posts with a few clicks. I can see in my dashboard everything organized and in order from any dates I want. Besides that, I also like the metrics dashboard that lets me create my own custom metrics report for any client I want. I enjoy all the integrations with different types of profiles, the performance of the app is also something important, the fact that I can download the app and review everything from my phone.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The pricing might be a bit high for small companies. There's also a few things to fix when it comes to integrations with the social media profiles. For some reason the profiles keeps getting disconnected .

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By scheduling all my posts I'm getting more time to work on strategy, planning, going into meeting. No worrying about the fact that I have to login and post.

 ### 31. Hootsuite Makes Social Scheduling and Automation Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite makes it easy to plan ahead and automate tasks, which saves me countless hours when I’m managing content across multiple social media accounts. My creative process has two stages: first, getting ideas into a usable form, and then getting those refined ideas out into the world so they can have an impact.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The guidelines—while based on market-proven data—can sometimes feel restrictive. I understand why it suggests adjusting my content, posting at a different time, or using alternatives to hashtags, but there may be specific reasons I choose to do what I’m doing in that moment.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Hootsuite solves for me is time management. The recommendations for when to capture audience attention are helpful, but my schedule rarely lines up with them. Being able to create content on my own time while still reaching my followers on theirs is a huge benefit.

 ### 32. An All-In-One Social for Social Media Posting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2017

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

One of the biggest benefits of Hootsuite is being able to schedule everything from a single place. It’s also easy to view your entire social media calendar at a glance—everything you’ve already posted through Hootsuite, as well as everything you have coming up. That makes it simple to see where you need more content and where you already have enough.

I also appreciate the recommended posting times, which remove a lot of the guesswork and cut down on the need for heavy analytics work. I primarily use it for posting on Facebook, X, and Instagram, though it connects to other networks as well. There are rarely any issues, and it reliably notifies you if something goes wrong and the issue is typically fixed quickly.

Overall, the program is intuitive and was easy to learn without specific guidance. The analytics tools are also helpful for reviewing what is and isn’t working. Finally, the cost is extremely affordable, which is a must for a nonprofit.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I haven’t experienced any major issues during my time using Hootsuite. It’s easy to create a post and share it across multiple networks, and I like that you can edit the text for each platform individually. What would make this workflow even better is the ability to edit photos per network as well, and to schedule posting times individually. Right now, if I don’t want everything to go live at the same time—or if I want to include more photos on Instagram than I can in a post on X—I have to either create separate posts or schedule them first and then go back and edit them afterward.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to schedule posts across multiple social media networks from a single place is much faster and easier than having to work in the backend of each individual platform. I also find it simpler to edit the text and the way our links appear through Hootsuite than directly on the platforms themselves. On top of that, pulling analytics is more straightforward in Hootsuite because it’s available in one central location, rather than having to check most social media outlets separately.

 ### 33. Streamlines Scheduling, Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for posting and scheduling posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. It makes it so I don't have to use multiple apps to post the same or similar content. Scheduling posts and posting are big parts of my job, and Hootsuite makes it so I can do my job without having to open Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn separately. The initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The UI for creating posts for multiple platforms could use improvement. Tagging is often a pain, especially with IG and FB being Meta platforms. It should try to find the appropriate account on other platforms and show uncertainty. It's also frustrating when adding media like images; if there's a problem with one image on one platform, removing the images from the original setup should work for all three platforms. Instead, I have to make changes to each platform individually.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite allows me to schedule and post on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook without using multiple apps, streamlining my workflow. Our comms team is one person, so any improvement to efficiency has a big impact.

 ### 34. Time-Saving Tool with Powerful Scheduling feature

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barzakh T. | Business Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for managing my multiple social media accounts, and it saves me a lot of time by having everything in one place. I really appreciate their scheduling tool, which is the main benefit for me. On and off, the tracking of performance through their analytics tool gives me scope of the content and helps me to improve and increase my reach. The initial setup was straightforward and did not take long, and it was very simple to connect our social media.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There are two things I want the team to improve. Firstly, it's the dashboard latency; sometimes the dashboard feels a bit slow when managing multiple accounts all together. Secondly, some of the useful features are only available on the expensive pricing plan.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite saves me a lot of time by centralizing my social media accounts. I especially benefit from their scheduling tool and the performance tracking with their analytics, which helps me improve and increase my reach.

 ### 35. Streamlined Customer Engagement, Needs Better AI Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vurda B. | UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I used Hootsuite in the marketing department for scheduling and creating visual posts, which helped promote our clearance events and track the local mentions of our stores. The platform served as a central command center for our marketing strategies across Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook, allowing for seamless cross-platform monitoring. I found the social inbox feature particularly valuable because it enabled us to respond promptly to customer queries about furniture prices and dimensions in comments and DMs. It was easy for our customer service team to reply to messages and comments right away, which streamlined customer service, ensured fast responses, and ultimately helped us in sales. Additionally, the initial setup was easy, and the interface was very understandable and smooth.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The AloeWriter AI feature in Hootsuite didn't work well for us because it wasn't very helpful for our furniture niche. Our products require details like fabric type, dimensions, and product names, but the built-in AI felt very generic and provided basic options. We ended up having to write captions and other content ourselves, so that feature didn't save us much time.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite for scheduling posts, promoting events, and tracking mentions, which streamlines customer service and boosts sales by ensuring fast responses through the social inbox.

 ### 36. Streamlines Social Media with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia M. | Impact Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I thought Hootsuite was pretty easy to use. I really liked how you could see the calendar and see what posts are happening on each day. Having that visual of a calendar with each post was really helpful in seeing how things would flow in the account. It allowed me to do a better social media strategy because I could see what the feed of the Instagram account or Facebook, or whatever platform I was using, was going to look like. This helped me ensure that the account's content didn't get repetitive and highlighted what I wanted to showcase.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

One thing I remember being difficult was deciphering what goes out on Instagram versus what goes out on Facebook. It was sort of an issue with incorporating the app to post situation.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps me schedule posts in advance, so I don't constantly have to manually enter them. The calendar view simplifies visualizing post schedules and improves my social media strategy by preventing repetitive content and balancing the highlight of key themes.

 ### 37. Hootsuite saved my life

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shirley K. | Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I especially appreciate Hootsuite’s reporting capabilities. The reports are clear, well organized, and easy to customize, which makes it straightforward to track performance across multiple platforms from one place. I can quickly review key metrics such as engagement, reach, and audience growth, and then turn that information into actionable insights for our campaigns. The option to export and share reports also streamlines internal reporting, particularly when I’m presenting results to management. Overall, it saves me time and helps support more data-driven decision-making.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

While Hootsuite is a powerful tool, it does come with a few drawbacks. Pricing can be quite high, especially for smaller teams or businesses, and some important features are only available on higher-tier plans. The platform also occasionally feels slow, particularly when loading or generating more detailed reports. Also, at times, the reports generator can Although the interface is generally clean, certain workflows such as bulk scheduling or bulk editing can be less intuitive than I’d expect. Integrations work well overall, but there are still occasional limitations depending on the specific platform. And while the analytics are helpful, the AI and insights could be more advanced, especially when it comes to predictive recommendations.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Hootsuite, managing multiple social media accounts felt time-consuming and fragmented. We had to log in to each platform separately, schedule posts manually, and pull reports from different sources, which made it hard to stay consistent and track performance effectively. With Hootsuite, we can now manage all our platforms in one place, schedule content ahead of time, and generate consolidated reports quickly. As a result, our workflow is much more efficient, we save several hours each week, and we’re able to make faster, data-driven decisions using real-time insights.

 ### 38. Great Scheduling Tools, but Billing and Feed Reconnect Issues

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa B. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like being able to make Future postings. I like being able to drop and drag posts for changing days. And I also like popular timeframes and days to post.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Billing changes occur without being contacted or notified. Currently struggling to reconnect feeds for some reason. And when i try to research prices it automatically hides regular pricing because I'm already a customer and only shows me upgraded programs.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time it would take me to post on one platform, and then duplicate the same post to another platform would be multipled. I can double my work and postings this way making it useful.

 ### 39. Intuitive and Insightful Social Media Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love using Hootsuite for managing social media across multiple divisions. It has completely transformed our digital marketing approach. The intuitive interface and ability to schedule posts from one place have made social media management streamlined and efficient, allowing us to focus more on creating high-quality content. I particularly value controlling video thumbnails when uploading content, which helps improve presentation and performance. The UTM tagging function is incredibly useful, allowing us to track website traffic accurately and gain insights into our campaign effectiveness. I appreciate how well organized Hootsuite is, with a neat dashboard and dedicated workspaces for each brand, making it simple to manage multiple divisions. My favorite feature is the analytics and reporting, which makes it easy to compare performance and aids in making informed decisions about our content strategy. I also like the review function that allows a team member to review posts and provide feedback. The setup was easy, and I find the overall functionality intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I'm not a fan of how the items on the dashboard are owl-themed now. It's confusing. I preferred it when they were more intuitively named like calendar etc. Because I don't even know what some of the words mean in relation to the functionality.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to manage social media efficiently across divisions, schedule posts, track engagement with UTM tags, and gain insights from analytics. The intuitive dashboard simplifies managing multiple accounts and improves content quality with team collaboration.

 ### 40. Hootsuite Tries to Help

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie C. | Social Media Manager and Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Best? Y'all don't do anything to be the best.
The helpdesk takes over 24 hours to respond + gives a generic answer, no actual depth to help.
Scheduling - it doesn't remember what day I chose to make my post for, so then I have to rechoose.
There is no IG Grid viewing where I can see how my whole grid will look and y'all know marketing is visual and we need our IG to look like a museum at first glance. tssk tssk, do better.
Also, this whole LinkInBio, extra stuff, it's just you trying to make more money and still offering a subpar linkinbio.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

-No IG Grid view for scheduling
-No easier way to preschedule link in bio
-Logs you out every 24 hours
-Does not auto save posts youre working on
-Cannot schedule YT Shorts

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You're giving me brain aneurisms. Your help desk takes too long to solve problems. This is benefiting me in sending me to my grave sooner than later due to un-needed stress.

 ### 41. Streamlined Scheduling but Needs Timely Updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin C. | Digital Media Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts for my college, and I like the interface and the analytics. It gives me a full picture of our social media plan for the week, which helps me keep us on brand. I enjoy how these features make it easy to coordinate different brand voices for different channels and schedule content.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think that it could be a little quicker to update to current standards. For example: Instagram now supports 20 photos in a post, still in Hootsuite you can only schedule 10. Additionally, you still can't seem to schedule out YouTube shorts content. I wish the drag and drop scheduling could be done by the hour not just daily. Drag and drop posts to the hour instead of having to go into the post itself and change the time.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts, coordinating brand voices for different channels. It provides a full picture of our social media plan, helping keep us on brand. I like the interface and analytics, though I wish scheduling was by the hour.

 ### 42. Easy to plan content. Rudimentary AI. Needs improvement.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie S. | Office Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I think it’s super easy to plan out a month’s worth of content in a single day. The data you get back is pretty interesting, although I’m not sure how much it actually helps in practice.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I find the AI pretty rudimentary. It doesn’t really follow the brand voice I’m trying to establish. I’m not sure what the pricing is, but I’m confident it isn’t cheap. Support is okay, but they can’t really help me understand what the stats and numbers mean.

Performance-wise it runs well, but it doesn’t flag missing captions, and it won’t let you edit multiple apps at the same time. That makes adding a first comment with Instagram hashtags a hassle. It was also very difficult to integrate our other accounts, and it required a lot of verification.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to schedule out our content on instagram as opposed to having to wake up super early and individually select photos and make a caption on my own.

 ### 43. Great Features with Pricing Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessandra V. | Technical Assistant & Teaching Assistant | Database Support, Content Creation, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I really appreciate the social listening feature on Hootsuite. We had no idea what to do about social listening before, and Hootsuite really solved that problem, teaching us from the beginning about it and showing us how to set it up, letting them handle the details. This has helped us feel like we've got an ear on our customers. I also like that Hootsuite guides us with direct directions, guided tutorials, helpful blogs, and YouTube videos offering advice about optimization, making it very easy to actually get it to work. Additionally, I enjoy using Hootsuite's AI tools as they perform just as well, if not better than other unique AI tools we checked out.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I would say Hootsuite needs to be a little more careful with its promotions because, for example, the reason we went on the site in the first place and bought an offer was that they had a deal with Adobe for like, 50% off and a free trial for a full month instead of two weeks. It was really hard convincing the directors to, like, let us purchase software after only two weeks of getting to use it. So, they should extend their free trial. Also, if they do communicate Adobe members get a free trial and 50% off, that should be followed through. Luckily, we needed the tool so badly that we just managed to make the argument. But that was kind of an inconvenience, and I will say that that left it and made it a bit hard to get people excited about the tool. We also tried to organize on Notion, and a Buffer offers a really great nonprofit discount and Hootsuite's discount isn't as friendly. And like we said, we didn't get to do a full, like, one month free trial. So that was a little difficult.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps us identify our current audience and potential areas for growth. The social listening feature reveals what our followers are interested in and helps us learn from other brands.

 ### 44. Intuitive Interface, Great for Social Media Scheduling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taya S. | Sales Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule LinkedIn and X posts, making social media posts easy to cross-reference and allowing for easier scheduling than doing it in-app. I appreciate the useful AI suggestions and how I can visualize the posts on different platforms in one place. The interface is super intuitive to use, even when I first started, I knew how to find my way around because everything has been laid out clearly. It's also super flexible to set up for my needs. I find the buttons for scheduling and switching between social media tabs convenient, and I like knowing where to find the AI suggestions to improve the posts.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

It would be nice to view the post mock-ups larger or maybe even app to show an even more realistic portrayal of how they look finalized - particularly for how the text will sit.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to streamline social media scheduling across platforms, and it simplifies cross-referencing and visualizing posts. The AI suggestions improve my posts, and the intuitive interface makes navigating and setting up flexible.

 ### 45. Easy Management of Social Accounts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily M. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like how easy it is to use and the analytics tools that it offers. I've tried multiple social media managing apps/softwares and their analytics typically do not compare to the depth and relevance of the analytics that Hootsuite offers. I like how easy it is to manage and post on multiple social profiles all in one place. I've tried other platforms but it feels like they tend to glitch often, and I don't have that issue with Hootsuite. I've also never had an issue with relinking social accounts but on other platforms I have had this issue.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think the least helpful thing about Hootsuite is not being able to see an Instagram feed layout. I know for most of our clients having a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing feed is essential for their brands and so having an option to view what your feed will look like with scheduled content would be helpful. I know that Cloud Campaign does this and Rella Social does as well. I also think that the pricing can push some people out of using Hootsuite.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that Hootsuite is solving for us is managing multiple client's social media platforms all at once and in once place. We manage multiple social media accounts and being able to schedule posts and view analtyics for each of them all in one place with the ease of just switching into the right client's social account is great!

 ### 46. Streamlined Social Media Management with Customization Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clay M. | Events and Communications Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to post cross-platform on social media accounts for a nonprofit. It allows me to automate the posting process, letting me plan months at a time, which saves a ton of time. It's very easy and convenient to use. I like that it shortens links automatically and the ability to customize for different platforms, like links on Facebook versus 'link in bio' on Instagram. Instead of logging in and editing each post on different apps, scheduling one post across four platforms and changing the messaging for the individual platform on one screen is a huge time saver. The initial setup was fairly easy; within about 20 minutes, everything was connected.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Posting reels and videos does not seem to be as easy. Sometimes it is less trouble to post from my phone.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite automates my posting process, allowing me to schedule months in advance, saving a ton of time. It simplifies posting cross-platform by letting me customize for each platform from one screen.

 ### 47. Social Media for Nonprofits Made Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joy B. | AMA Director of Marketing & Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Love that we're able to bring our company's many social media channels into one place where it's easy for us to post across channels with ease. The new reporting features are helpful and the advanced AI features also add. It's easy to keep track of performance and the price is reasonable enough to fit into our nonprofit budget.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Overall I have few complaints about Hootsuite. I would like to see more robust options in reporting over time, particularly with the ability to export reports that I can use to better present to the C-Suite level.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to post across our many channels was difficult for our smaller nonprofit team, but Hootsuite makes it easy to manage our significant list of channels and makes scheduling posts a breeze. It's helped us get on top of our social media game and improves overall results. Easier posting opportunities also boosts performance overall for our organization.

 ### 48. Easy Setup and a Beautiful Interface for Social Media Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan S. | Clinical Case Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite is a good social media management tool, easy to use and has a beautiful interface. My company just started using it and I was surprised at how easy set up has been.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Unfortunately, it’s pretty heavy on the pocket. There are tools out there that offer the same—and in some cases even better—features, like Social Champ, with very reasonable pricing and good customer support. So, yes, it can work well for people who don’t mind investing a lot in this kind of tool, but for struggling agencies, startups, and new entrepreneurs, it ends up feeling a bit too pricey.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform handles pretty much everything a social media manager does on a day-to-day basis. It lets you curate content, schedule posts, and publish them all in one place, which is a huge time-saver.

 ### 49. I have scaled back my use, Limited Audience Expansion

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael Sean C. | Bestselling Author & Multimedia Journalist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I enjoy that Hootsuite goes across social media but I have scaled back my use and I am not sure I will renew next year. I like that it measures clicks and helps me know which time slots to place my book ads into, and how to post my ads effectively. Setting it up was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I'm finding a limit to the reach that I can get with Hootsuite. It looks like I'm only reaching the same thousand people, and I need to reach far more than that. It feels like my posts might be getting blocked by social media outlets like Twitter and Instagram because of the frequency. Despite posting some weeks 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it's not reaching enough people. I think somehow they're discounting my posts because they're too frequent. Also, I'm having trouble signing in to my Twitter account and connecting Hootsuite to it.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to boost my book's visibility on social media, as I don't have a large email list. It helps me measure clicks and find the best time slots for my posts, making my social media efforts more effective. I think it is re-posting to the same 1,200 people over and over again.

 ### 50. Centralized Social Media Management, Impressive Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahmut Alperen G. | Peer Reviewer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love how Hootsuite centralizes complex workflows into a single, efficient dashboard. The Unified Streams feature reduces response times by allowing me to monitor all network feeds and brand mentions in one place. I appreciate the Visual Planner with its intuitive calendar and bulk scheduling tools that make long-term content planning effortless and structured. The Approval Workflows stand out with granular permission settings, ensuring brand safety through seamless team collaboration and mandatory admin sign-offs. These features transform social media management from a reactive task into a structured operation, saving me hours of manual checking and preventing content gaps. The native integrations with Google Drive, Dropbox, Adobe Creative Cloud, Salesforce, and HubSpot keep workflows seamless and efficient. Once the foundational architecture was set up, onboarding the rest of the team was seamless and required minimal training.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

While Hootsuite is highly stable, the interface can feel overly dense and a bit dated, which introduces unnecessary friction when navigating between features. Additionally, the pricing structure scales very aggressively. Moving from basic plans to accessing advanced analytics or adding more team members quickly becomes cost-prohibitive for growing operations. Finally, occasional API disconnects are a recurring frustration, as they require manual re-authentication and can unexpectedly disrupt your automated posting schedules.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to centralize social media management, which resolves fragmentation and inefficiencies by unifying feeds and messages. It simplifies scheduling with a visual planner, ensuring consistent campaigns, and enables team collaboration through approval workflows, enhancing brand safety.
