I have used Heartland Payments+ for over ten years primarily for credit card processing. Initially, when I started with Heartland, it was incredibly easy to set up. I love the system overall, and the customer service was impressive when I first began using their services. I found the functionality of Heartland very useful, particularly how efficiently they managed to get my money into my account by the next day without any issues. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at Heartland Payments+. It's not just poor but horrendous. There was an error on Heartland's end where they charged me over $300 a month for more than a year, despite not processing any credit card transactions since October 2024. What's worse, they didn't offer any resolution or reimbursement, keeping my money unjustly. This unethical behavior, especially after I had shut down one company's payroll and credit card processing, is completely unacceptable. I can't support Heartland given their inept handling of mistakes, which cost me over $3,000 without providing any service in return.
