"Essential Communication Tool with Room for Visual Improvement"
What do you like best about Haystack?

I use Haystack for communication between coworkers to keep up to date. It allows us all to see the same directions being communicated, helping everyone stay in the 'know'. I really appreciate its ease of use and the way the site is laid out which makes it easy to find important information. The feature that lets you create and post in separate groups has been helpful, especially since, for us cooks, we don't need to see everything upper management has going on in their group. This keeps us focused and not overrun with posts. It was an easier platform to navigate and keep track of information compared to the previous platform we used, 'The Portal'. Additionally, the initial setup of Haystack was super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

In the beginning it was hard to find out how to post. The white on white contrast made it confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Team Collaboration and Communication"
What do you like best about Haystack?

Haystack has become our go-to space for everything from company updates to team resources. We no longer have to dig through emails, DMs, multiple messages, or different tools to find what we need—everything is just a click away. It’s my go-to destination for anything company-related, and I use it multiple times a day.

I also love how we can customize different areas to suit specific departments or projects. That keeps information organized and relevant, reduces clutter, and improves efficiency. Haystack integrates seamlessly with our existing tools, so our workflow isn’t disrupted, and it brings all our essential company platforms together in one place.

The social features are a huge plus, too. It feels more like a community space than a static intranet, which has helped our team feel more connected—especially remote members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

The side text drop-down ratio could be improved. While the web version is great, the mobile app could use a bit more optimization. It’s functional overall, but sometimes the formatting doesn’t translate perfectly to mobile screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Agency Collaboration and Engagement"
What do you like best about Haystack?

I like Haystack's many features, especially the ability to create posts or events and schedule them, notifications to email or text, the shoutout feature, and the capability to review who sees the posts. I find the scheduling post feature helps me be most efficient with tasks on my timeline. I appreciate that notifications allow me to view posts from my phone in real time. The shoutout feature is great because it helps team members feel valued or highlighted. I also find that Haystack is extremely easy to start using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

Not having a report to view for seeing who opens posts. I would love to see some type of training ability for us to drop a training and whether print or video, and know the team member engaged in that training. Maybe even allow a short quiz of the material trained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Hub for Seamless Internal Communication"
What do you like best about Haystack?

I like that Haystack serves as a central hub for everything related to our HR and company updates. It's great that it keeps all our contact information organized for internal management. I also appreciate the super easy-to-navigate interface. It's helpful that it holds older updates for a set time, which is crucial when taking time off, and then it rotates in new updates. Overall, it looks pleasing and functions well, especially since I work with a lot of software but find that Haystack really does the job. Setting it up seemed smooth and easy from what was presented to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

I don't have input for dislikes honestly. I use it for news updates internally and it does what I need it to do! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Engaging Team Transparency, Would Love More Customization"
What do you like best about Haystack?

I like that Haystack lets me know exactly when I'm going to get paid and provides transparency in showing me everyone I work with. I appreciate being able to see little tidbits about my co-workers, as it helps me get to know them better. Haystack allows me to have full transparency of the agency through its platform by showing me the calendar of holidays and pay days. I get to explore and get to know my team more thoroughly, participate easily in polls, and even earn badges, which is really fun. The initial setup was super easy, which was a nice bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

I would love to have a bit more customization when it comes to using the calendar feature. This is one of my favorite features because I am able to see the agency holidays. However, I would love to be able to add items to the calendar for my own view. It would be helpful to have the main agency calendar and then one that is only visible to individuals. "AI-Driven Search with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Haystack?

I like how Haystack's AI searches quickly, much faster than I could on my own, which is a big help. Another aspect I appreciate is the clean look of the pages, making it visually appealing. Plus, the AI tool doesn't just provide answers but also shows me the sources of information, which makes it easier to identify outdated info on the site. Additionally, the cost of Haystack was much better compared to what we had before with NContracts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

The lack of sorting options makes page design cumbersome. Currently, the birthdays card does not sort and show current month birthdays for the team. It was time consuming over about two months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform for Efficient Information Access"
What do you like best about Haystack?

I love how user-friendly the interface of Haystack is! It's not cluttered and is well organized and structured, which makes it easy to access my needed information and links. I also value the ability to easily access links and have the notifications readily available. Being able to scroll through and choose the ones I want more information on is great. Additionally, I find it helpful to have quick access to links for our help desk, notifications of jobs available, and links to our company's software. The initial setup was pretty easy on both my phone and computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

Nothing in particular. Hay stacks is pretty easy and nice to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Haystack: Easy to Use but Needs Faster Loading"
What do you like best about Haystack?

I like that Haystack is pretty easy to use and fairly clear. The search function works pretty well for me, which is important because I use it to find answers to my specific questions quickly. It's also seamless for me in coordinating tasks, as it appears as a login button on my main landing page for HR. This makes it very easy for me to coordinate things, like figuring out health care information or applying for leave. Overall, it's been pretty useful for accessing employee-related resources and coordinating leave processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

The loading time's a little slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Polished, User-Friendly Hub That Elevates Company Communication"
What do you like best about Haystack?

I like that it's a very appealing and user friendly intranet space for company employees. Sharepoint was useable but was in no way a good hub to hop in and see current events and employee profiles. Haystack provides a sense of polish that is good at providing communications, org charts, and a general hub for folks to use to access different important aspects for the company. We needed an all in one hub for employees to easily access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

Grouping from Azure can be a bit confusing but otherwise it works, it could be just how we have it set up as well. Otherwise, it does what it needs to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhances Communication, Needs Easier Policy Search"
What do you like best about Haystack?

I like that Haystack keeps me connected to my job at Our Lady of the Valley. I appreciate that I can quickly access company policies related to CSM senior living management. I like how the platform shows all the different employee members and lets you do shout-outs, share information with fellow employees, and see anniversary and birth dates, which is really nice. You can even create a profile picture. The application constantly keeps me communicating and involved with my coworkers, which is a big advantage given it's tied to my second job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

Searching for policies is a little more difficult. It's not very user friendly just to go to find a specific policy. I think policies should be an option of its own and in the main menu drop down list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
