**What do you like best about HandsOn Connect?**

I appreciate the relationship we've created that makes us feel like a special client.  Everytime we have any questions there is always a quick and thorough response.  Additionally, they were more than thrilled to have a partnership on developing new components that they are maintaining!

**What do you dislike about HandsOn Connect?**

They are still developing their Salesforce Lightning experience components so we aren't able to use some features, but this was a conscious choice of ours to develop this platform with them.

**What problems is HandsOn Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are utilizing HandsOn Connect to advertise opportunities for alumni to donate their time to the University community when they either can't donate financially or when they are looking for more ways to give back to their alma mater.

**What do you like best about HandsOn Connect?**

As a client for over 7 years, Hands-on Connect continues to be the backbone of our volunteer operation.  The application continues to evolve to meet the needs of prospective volunteers seeking to join our organization and staff members tasked with capturing data to strengthen the volunteer experience.

**What do you dislike about HandsOn Connect?**

The application requires a working knowledge of the Salesforce CRM and demands a significant amount of time to become familiar and comfortable with navigating basic functions such as reporting.

**What problems is HandsOn Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hands-on Connect provides a comprehensive tool to capture the various roles that volunteer occupy.  From in-person to virtual service, we have been able to distinguish several types of service and house them within the system.

**What do you like best about HandsOn Connect?**

We like that hundreds of nonprofits across the state contribute to the statewide listings of volunteer opportunities on one centralized website and can make edits.

**What do you dislike about HandsOn Connect?**

We wish that from the public side of our volunteer database that people could pull a PDF list of the nonprofit volunteer opportunities that they show interest in participating in.

**What problems is HandsOn Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We found a website and service that gives us a centralized space to create, modify, and delete volunteer opportunities from various nonprofit agencies and keep track of volunteer managers and nonprofit staff.

Was able to build a custom program to meet the needs of my department.

The system is a bit difficult to navigate and locate helpful links.

Badges. Is helpful to track badges given to our volunteers.

**What do you like best about HandsOn Connect?**

This is one of the top places that volunteers in our area search for opportunities, so we generate a bit of volunteer interest from it. From the volunteer side, it's a user-friendly and visually attractive way to learn about volunteer opportunities. 

**What do you dislike about HandsOn Connect?**

I find it to be cumbersome, outdated, and not very intuitive - and I'm a millennial. The vocabulary and flow can be confusing. There is another web based program I find to be a breeze compared to this. I often need to contact administrators to clarify how to post or modify an opportunity.

**What problems is HandsOn Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HandsOn Connect can help connect us with potential volunteers. It's hyper-local, so it's one of the two main online resources that our community uses to connect with non-profits.

The ability to create reoccurrences. Managing the volunteers who make accounts and if any changes need to be made. 

**What do you dislike about HandsOn Connect?**

I would like more control over changes such as editing occurences

HandsOn tech support and staff are great, use them!

I’m using HandsOb connect for volunteer recruitment for United Way of Southern Pennsylvania events around the year

**What do you like best about HandsOn Connect?**

I like the ability to quickly run reports and see who is signed up for opportunities. I also like the ability to limit the number of people who can sign up for an opportunity. The ability to give people differing levels of back end access is also a nice touch. The automated reminders and thank yous for volunteers really simplify my job because it is one less task I have to remember to do. 

**What do you dislike about HandsOn Connect?**

The calendar function doesn't always work as it should. It is often difficult to create customized ways for people to look up and sign up for opportunities. The multi-step sign up process is a hindrance to certain volunteers as well. Some people just want to type their name into a line and be done with it.

Made connecting to volunteers extremely easy; platform was simple and easy to use

I honestly had no issues with this program.

I definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to connect to volunteers. It is a great way to promote an organization or event too.

**What do you like best about HandsOn Connect?**

HandsOn Connect has come a long way even in the last couple years. They take customer feedback and implement it as best as they can, within a fairly reasonable time frame. 

**What do you dislike about HandsOn Connect?**

There are a few limitations or "I wish it did this" moments. However, with the newest version rolling out soon, I think we may see these limitations lessen. 

**Recommendations to others considering HandsOn Connect:**

This is a new era for this product. I would encourage them to talk to the team about what they need out of a volunteer management software and see what they say. 

**What problems is HandsOn Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a complete volunteer management solution. Not only do we leverage it, but our nonprofit partners are able to post and mange volunteer opportunities, as well as the data that comes with it.

I liked the reporting the best. i was always able to get to what I needed.

**What do you dislike about HandsOn Connect?**

It was a very convoluted system.  Too many rules, and nuances to remember.
