This a great free base plugin and you only need to spend money if and when you need to customize further.

Also the support is top-notch and Jake frequently participates in the support process to keep an eye on issues. The overall customer experience is very, very good. **What do you dislike about Gravity PDF?** The hardest thing about Gravity PDF is the customization route. While you can pay them to do all of the work for you, our team likes to be more hands-on but FPDF is not the world's easiest library.

You can build out templates to create the PDF, you can decide how it should look, function and act. That means that you can use it for anything from invoices to customized documents. PDFs can be attached to notifications and sent right to the administrator or the end user's email.

We recommend it almost daily to clients. It's simple to install and easy to integrate into your website. The only drawback would be if you need a customized template, you may need a developer to create that for you.

We've only ever had to deal with customer support once or twice, but they've always been prompt and resolved our issues quickly.
