**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

I like the excellent dashboard and visualizations, which make monitoring data easy to understand. Monitoring is very useful for checking service availability and reachability. I also like being able to monitor uptime, latency, SSL expiry, and service frequency all in one place. It’s easy to spot unusual latency spikes or performance issues, and the flexible time-range selections help when investigating historical incidents.

It supports multiple data sources and integrations, and it provides a strong centralized view of overall system health. This is helpful for proactive monitoring instead of waiting for users to report an issue. The interface presents useful monitoring information in a structured, professional way.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

The main challenge I experienced was the learning curve. Basic monitoring is relatively straightforward, but advanced dashboards, queries, alerting rules, and admin configurations can become complex.

Some parts of the interface also require familiarity with monitoring concepts, query dashboards, alerts, and advanced metrics.

Additionally, when working with large datasets or long monitoring periods, it can sometimes take extra effort to investigate and understand specific events. Beginners may benefit from more guided workflows and simpler explanations for advanced configurations.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grafana helps solve the problem of not having clear visibility into application and service performance. Instead of manually checking whether an API or service is working, I can use a monitoring dashboard to quickly understand: is the service currently running, is it reachable, what is the average response time, did the latency suddenly increase, are there any failed checks, and is the SSL certificate approaching expiration.

For example, during monitoring I can immediately spot a sudden latency spike and investigate the specific time period. This reduces troubleshooting time because I no longer need to rely on manual testing or user-reported issues.

Overall, Grafana provides a strong single source of visibility for system health and performance, helping teams identify issues earlier and make more data-driven decisions.

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

The standout strength is the flexibility to build fully custom dashboards. We can create clear operational views with color-coded thresholds and real-time refresh that feel very close to a true HMI panel. Integration with multiple data sources—historians, PLCs, and time-series databases—has also been smooth and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

The learning curve for advanced configurations—such as complex queries and multi-condition alerting—can be steep for non-technical users. Also, some industry-specific plugins require a fair amount of manual setup and aren’t straightforward to configure.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides centralized, real-time visibility into plant status, enabling faster anomaly detection through visual thresholds and alerts, while reducing dependency on proprietary SCADA software. It also improves collaboration because dashboards can be shared and accessed remotely by different teams. By pulling multiple sources (PLCs, historians, databases) into a single view, it helps eliminate data silos and gives operators a clearer picture of what’s happening. Visual alerting reduces operator response time to critical events. Overall, it can cut costs compared to traditional closed HMI/SCADA platforms, while still remaining scalable as the system grows.

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

Grafana is a great data visualization platform that helps me connect to various data streams and create interactive dashboards. It’s a solid tool for bringing different sources together and presenting the data in a clear, usable way. This is a great tool to view complex data sets which are not readily available. Clients find the additional data insights very valuable. Definitely useful if you are in complex data side of the business

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

Connecting to various data sets is fairly technical and may require support from the tech or product teams to get everything set up properly.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are a lot of raw datasets on the backend that aren’t readily available on the platform. I’ve been working alongside Product and Data Science on custom requests so this information becomes easier to access and more readable through the interface.

  ### 4. Turning messy server logs into clear visual dashboards

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

I really like a most is how seamlessly Grafana lets us pull in metrics, logs, and traces into a single unified dashboard without the screen feeling cluttered. I use the dynamic dashboard variables daily because it lets me instantly toggle between our production and staging environments on the exact same view without having to rebuild multiple panels. The interface is surprisingly smooth when dragging and dropping visualizations, even when we are pulling massive amounts of historical time-series data. One unexpected benefit was discovering their huge community library of pre-built panel templates, which honestly saved me days of manual setup work from scratch.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

The initial learning curve for writing complex custom queries to set up our advanced alerting rules was definitely a lot steeper than I expected during onboarding. It takes some serious trial and error to get the alert routing and notification thresholds mapped out exactly right, but it makes total sense once you get the hang of the syntax.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before bringing this in, we were basically flying blind during server spikes and manually hunting through raw text logs just to figure out where performance bottlenecks were hiding. Now our entire engineering team has a shared visual workspace where everyone can look at the exact same live graphs simultaneously during an active incident. This has completely transformed our team collaboration because we aren't wasting time arguing about who has the most up-to-date data anymore. Ultimately it saves us countless hours of stressful debugging during late-night outages and helps us make faster decisions to get systems healthy again.

  ### 6. Does everything we need, once you get past the query language

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

It connects to pretty much anything. We pointed it at Prometheus on day one and it just worked, and adding other sources later was the same story, add the data source and start querying. No glue code or exporters written just to get a number on a screen. The free tier on Grafana Cloud is also genuinely usable rather than a crippled trial. Team of about 30 and we haven't paid anything yet, and we still get hosted dashboards we don't have to babysit. The community dashboards are underrated too. Half our node monitoring started life as an imported dashboard ID that we then tweaked, which mattered a lot because none of us do monitoring full time.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

The learning curve is the real one. Grafana itself looks friendly but the moment you want a panel that isn't in a template you're writing PromQL, and rate vs increase, which thing to sum by, why your graph is suddenly flat, all of that took us weeks to stop getting wrong. The query builder helps a bit but you still hit a point where you have to drop into the raw query and understand it. I ended up being the person who knew it, which is not great, because now everyone comes to me instead of building their own panels. Honestly some guided 'here is how you build a latency panel from scratch' flow inside the product would have saved us a lot of googling. The docs are thorough but they assume you already know the concepts.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Grafana we found out about problems from users, which is the worst way to find out. It was SSH into a box, run top, guess. Now there's one dashboard up on a screen and if latency starts creeping or a disk is filling up we see it in the graph first. It also settles arguments. When someone says the app felt slow at 3pm, we pull up that hour instead of debating it.

  ### 7. Visualizing threat detection and SIEM logs in real time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

my biggest daily challenge is log fragmentation. Grafana acts as the ultimate single pane of glass for our security operations. We route our SIEM alerts, network flows, and system logs into it, allowing me to build custom dashboards that track failed login spikes and abnormal database queries. I frequently simulate adversarial attacks using Kali Linux utilities from a local VirtualBox environment to test our defensive posture. Seeing exactly how and when those simulated brute-force attempts or Tor-based IP rotations populate on my Grafana panels gives me immense confidence in our detection capabilities. It also connects perfectly to the Python Flask and MySQL backends we monitor, letting me correlate application-layer latency directly with ongoing security events or DDoS mitigation. The open-source plugin ecosystem is fantastic, meaning we can connect almost any data source without writing custom middleware.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

Building highly specific security panels from scratch requires a deep understanding of query languages like PromQL or LogQL, which can be a brutal learning curve for junior analysts. When you just want to set up a quick graph to track 403 Forbidden errors across an API, you often have to write surprisingly complex syntax. Furthermore, managing role-based access control (RBAC) so that different teams can view but not accidentally edit shared SOC dashboards requires a lot of manual administrative overhead.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It completely cures the "swivel-chair analysis" problem. During an active incident, I don’t have to SSH into a compromised server, check a separate firewall portal, and then look at database query logs in three different windows. Everything is visualized on one unified timeline. By centralizing our threat intelligence and operational metrics into one interactive grid, it drastically reduces our mean time to detect (MTTD) and allows the team to triage security events much faster.

  ### 8. Grafana Cloud’s Cost Optimization Tools Help Cut Noisy Metrics and Spend

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

Cost Optimization Tools
Through features like Adaptive Telemetry and customizable retention policies, Grafana Cloud helps engineering teams trim down noisy metric volumes and manage operational spend better than traditional usage-heavy SaaS observability vendors

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

One thing I find challenging about Grafana is that its flexibility can also make it complex. As you move beyond basic dashboards into advanced PromQL queries, alerting, variables, permissions, and multiple data sources, there’s a noticeable learning curve. At scale, keeping dashboards and configurations consistent can also require discipline. I think that’s more of a trade-off than a fundamental weakness—the flexibility is one of Grafana’s biggest strengths, but it can make the platform harder to learn and operate initially.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, this is especially valuable when troubleshooting cloud networking and security issues. Instead of checking individual AWS services, firewalls, load balancers, or application logs separately, I can use Grafana dashboards and queries to identify patterns such as traffic spikes, latency, errors, or resource utilization and then drill down toward the root cause.

  ### 9. Visualizing my backend APIs and database metrics in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raj C. | Senior Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

I spend most of my time working with backend frameworks like Python Flask and relational databases like MySQL. Before adopting Grafana, trying to figure out why a specific API endpoint was dragging meant checking database query logs in one terminal and server performance in another. Grafana brings all of that together perfectly. I hook it up to Prometheus, and suddenly I have a single pane of glass. Being able to correlate a CPU spike on the server with a slow SQL query on the exact same timeline is incredibly helpful. Also, the sheer amount of pre-built community dashboards means I rarely have to build complex monitoring panels from absolute scratch.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

The query language, specifically PromQL, has a really harsh learning curve. When you just want to set up a basic graph to track 500 errors or simple uptime, you often end up having to write surprisingly complex syntax. The UI is also super dense if you accidentally click away or mess up a panel setting, digging back through the side menus to fix your configuration can be pretty frustrating.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It stops the endless context switching. If a service goes down or starts lagging, I don't have to SSH into different machines or open multiple logging tools to find the root cause. I can just look at my main Grafana dashboard, spot the bottleneck immediately, and get straight to fixing the code. It turns what used to be an hour of blind troubleshooting into a 5-minute visual check.

  ### 10. The ultimate monitoring hub for our backend, even if the setup tests your patience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

The sheer flexibility of the visualizations is what keeps me hooked. As a software engineer at a mid-sized company, I have to keep tabs on a lot of moving parts. I love that I can pull in metrics from our Python Flask APIs and combine them with query performance stats from our MySQL databases onto a single screen. When things go wrong, having a unified view means I don't have to frantically switch between three different server management tools to figure out what is failing. The community dashboards are also a massive time saver, letting me import pre-built layouts for our specific tech stack rather than starting from a blank canvas every single time.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

The learning curve can be genuinely frustrating, especially when you are just trying to set up something basic. Figuring out query languages to get the exact data you want to show up on a graph takes a lot of trial and error, and the documentation can sometimes feel geared toward DevOps experts rather than everyday developers. Sometimes the configuration menu for a single panel feels way too cluttered with granular options that most people will never touch. Additionally, as our engineering team has grown, managing permissions and keeping our dashboard folders organized has become surprisingly tedious, often requiring manual cleanup to stop people from accidentally overriding someone else's customized view.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It completely removed the guesswork from debugging performance issues and blind spots in our architecture. We used to rely on scattered log files to figure out why an endpoint was slow, which was exhausting. Recently, a specific module in our HRMS deployment started timing out heavily during peak usage. Because we had our infrastructure mapped out in Grafana, I just pulled up our main health dashboard and instantly saw a massive spike in database table locks correlating exactly with our web framework's worker thread saturation. It pinpointed the exact bottleneck in seconds, saving us hours of digging through raw server logs and letting us push an optimized query fix out the same afternoon.

  ### 11. Grafana Labs provides visibility into our cloud infrastructure.

In my experience, the greatest strength of Grafana Labs is its ability to consolidate infrastructure metrics. With Grafana Labs, I can view server health, application performance, resource consumption, and alerts all on a single dashboard. I get all this information in one place instead of having to switch between different tools. It proved to be incredibly useful when we started using it to monitor our cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

Its flexibility allows for a wide range of capabilities, though this can also make creating dashboards and queries somewhat complex.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grafana Labs has helped us efficiently monitor our distributed infrastructure. It enables us to quickly identify performance bottlenecks and anomalous resource activity, resolve issues, and keep the team informed about the overall health of our systems. We are able to respond rapidly to incidents and ensure better uptime for our cloud-based services.

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

Grafana Labs delivers strong value through its deep correlation capabilities across metrics, logs, and traces, as well as its flexible data-source architecture.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

Steep Learning Curve for Non-DevOps Team Members: While creating basic dashboards is fairly accessible, building more complex queries in native languages such as PromQL or LogQL comes with a steep learning curve.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Grafana Labs, our team struggled with serious observability fragmentation and a high mean time to resolution (MTTR). We were constantly juggling multiple single-purpose monitoring tools—one vendor for metrics, another for centralized logging, and a third for distributed tracing. When a single production incident occurred, the investigation often turned into a manual, time-consuming process: copying timestamps between different UI tabs and trying to line up disparate log outputs with metric spikes.

**G2 Icon:** Our network of Icons are G2 members who are recognized for their outstanding contributions and commitment to helping others through their expertise.

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

What I like most about Grafana Labs is its flexibility and strong visualization capabilities. Grafana makes it straightforward to create interactive, real-time dashboards by pulling data from multiple sources such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, and various cloud platforms. The interface feels intuitive and highly customizable, which makes it especially well-suited for monitoring complex microservices environments.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

One drawback of Grafana Labs is that the more advanced features and enterprise capabilities can get expensive as you scale, particularly in larger environments with high data volumes.

For beginners, the initial dashboard setup and alert configuration can also feel a bit complex. Once you start integrating multiple data sources across distributed systems, it can take a while to fully understand how to structure queries, manage permissions, and set up alerting logic correctly.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grafana Labs addresses the challenge of fragmented observability by bringing metrics, logs, and traces together in a single, unified platform. Rather than jumping between multiple tools, I can visualize, compare, and correlate everything in one place.

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

What I like most about Grafana Labs is the flexibility and clarity it offers for visualizing metrics. In our projects, we handle a lot of monitoring data, and Grafana makes it easy to turn raw metrics into meaningful, easy-to-read dashboards. The UI is clean, and we can customize panels to fit our requirements.

I also really appreciate its integration capabilities. It connects smoothly with Prometheus, Kubernetes, and other data sources without much complexity. Being able to pull metrics from different systems and view everything in one place gives us better visibility into overall system performance.

Alerting is another strong point. We can set up alerts based on thresholds, which helps us respond quickly when something goes wrong. Overall, Grafana makes monitoring more organized, visually clear, and easier to manage in day-to-day operations.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

One thing I dislike about Grafana Labs is that the initial setup and dashboard configuration can feel confusing, especially for someone new to monitoring tools. There are so many options and settings that it takes time to understand how to properly configure data sources and write the right queries.

Writing queries—particularly with Prometheus (PromQL)—can also be fairly complex. If a query isn’t written correctly, the dashboard may not show accurate data, and tracking down what went wrong can take extra time and effort.

Another minor concern is that when there are too many dashboards and panels, managing everything can become difficult without good organization. That said, once I get used to the structure and establish a system, it becomes much more manageable.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grafana Labs mainly addresses the challenge of monitoring visibility. In complex projects with many services, servers, and containers running at the same time, it can be hard to understand system performance by relying only on logs or raw metrics. Grafana helps us turn that monitoring data into clear, meaningful dashboards.

In our experience, it has made it easier to track application performance, CPU and memory usage, API response times, and overall system health in one place. Rather than jumping between multiple tools, we can view everything on a single dashboard, which saves a lot of time.

It also supports early issue detection. When a metric crosses a threshold, we receive alerts and can respond quickly before it turns into a bigger problem. Overall, this improves system stability and helps reduce downtime.

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

I used Grafana during my DevOps internship mainly for monitoring servers and application services. We connected Grafana with Prometheus as the main data source and also used custom metrics from OTel.

What I like most is how easy it becomes to monitor everything from one place once the dashboards are set up. I created dashboards to check service uptime, system metrics and application health and also configured alerts to get notified when something went wrong. The integration with Prometheus queries works well, and real-time metrics help a lot during incidents. It saves time because you don’t have to manually check logs or servers again and again.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

The main difficulty I faced was during metric integration and dashboard setup, especially when working with custom metrics. For new users, it takes time to understand which metrics to use and how to structure panels properly.

Alert and dashboard configuration can feel complex at first and advanced features have a steep learning curve. Better and more practical documentation for real production use cases would make onboarding easier, especially for interns or beginners.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grafana helps in monitoring servers and services continuously in a production environment. Instead of manually checking systems or logs, we can quickly identify issues using dashboards and alerts.

If a service goes down, it is visible immediately on Grafana, which helps the team respond faster. This improves incident handling and reduces downtime. Overall, it made monitoring more organized and efficient during my internship

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

The UI and UX are very good, and it integrates easily into our projects. The performance monitoring is also really solid. The free tier is good enough for student projects, and the AI search feature is useful as well. I was able to get support for my problems and the onboarding is smooth too.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

Tier plans can be generous, and also increase the limits of free tier.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of observability when our project has a lot of variables.

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

Reporting and being alerted inside Slack whenever resources are strained

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

Big learning curve when getting started. AI is pretty helpful at least so its not too bad.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alerts me when our CPU/Memory is exhausted on a pod. Can review logs to pinpoint slow queries

  ### 40. Grafana’s “Bring Your Own Data” Flexibility Is a Game-Changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish D. | Functional Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

The best thing about Grafana is its "bring your own data" philosophy. Unlike traditional monitoring platforms that force you to ingest all data into their proprietary backend. Grafana lets you leave your data exactly where it lives.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

While Grafana is extremely powerful, the learning curve can be steep for non-expert users. Mastering domain-specific query language like PromQL and TraceQL takes time, and configuring complex dashboard often requires significant setup

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It eliminates vendor lock-in by supporting a wide range of open-source and proprietary data sources through plugins.

  ### 41. Exceptional Global Network Visibility with Easy Data Export

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

This is one of the best tools available for keeping track of network infrastructure globally. It allows all global offices to be monitored with exceptionally detailed, live visibility into critical network points, and the data can be exported for use across various platforms, such as Power BI.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

Honestly, I don’t have any major complaints. The only thing I can think of is that it would be helpful if the data timeline could be extended to cover a few months or even years, although this option might already exist—I’m just not sure.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It monitors all network equipment live, with very detailed specifications, and it will send you a notification—like a ticket in ServiceNow—if any network element goes down or isn’t functioning well.

  ### 42. Grafana: excellent open source tool for one platform observability.

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

Customized dashboards as per the use case . Customized metrics as per the various details . Can pull data from various data sources without any troubled integration.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

Provides to many options which can be a problem as multiple options can lead to confusion.
Difficulties while initial setting up as it required certain type of expertise.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grafana solves the problem of having different parameters on different dashboard as it collects data from various sources and presents it at one dashboard which provides single observability platform

  ### 43. Powerful, Flexible, and Community-Driven Observability Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul s. | Sr. Operations Executive, Mental Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**G2 Icon:** Our network of Icons are G2 members who are recognized for their outstanding contributions and commitment to helping others through their expertise.

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

What I appreciate most about Grafana Labs is its robust open-source foundation, paired with a dedicated focus on addressing real-world observability challenges. The products offer both power and flexibility, while the community-driven approach fosters ongoing innovation. Additionally, the company culture stands out for its emphasis on transparency, continuous learning, and making a meaningful impact for customers.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

The platform may seem complicated to newcomers, as there is a noticeable learning curve when it comes to setup and more advanced configurations. Additionally, certain features demand a higher level of technical expertise, which can make it harder for teams without a strong technical background to adopt the platform quickly.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grafana Labs addresses the challenge of limited visibility in complex systems by unifying metrics, logs, and traces within a single observability platform. This integration allows me to identify issues more quickly, gain real-time insights into system behavior, and minimize downtime, which in turn enhances both reliability and my confidence in operations.

  ### 45. Grafana Labs Makes Monitoring Simple, Flexible, and Powerful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Narasimha M. | Cloud Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

I like Grafana Labs mainly because it makes monitoring feel simple while still staying flexible. The Grafana dashboards look clean, are easy to customize, and they work with almost any data source. It feels powerful without being overly rigid, which is rare to find.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

One thing I don’t like about Grafana Labs is that it can become pretty complex as setups grow. Grafana is powerful, but managing dashboards, permissions, and data sources at scale isn’t always straightforward or easy to keep consistent. On top of that, some of the more advanced features are locked behind paid tiers, which can feel limiting.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Grafana, everything is brought together in one place, which makes it much easier to monitor systems, spot issues quickly, and understand what’s happening in real time.

Beautiful, interactive dashboards that bring all the KPIs together in one place, with very useful alerting. All in all, an essential tool for keeping things transparent across the company and across teams.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

About alerting a bit complex to configure and sometime not realtime.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can see all the stats visually, which helps us understand our pain points and maintain transparency across teams.

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

Grafana is a great tool for monitoring - it combines and hold all out monitoring dashboards, helping us keep everything organized and easily accessible. It’s also very easy to set up alerts when metrics deviate from expectations.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

It can be a bit tech-heavy, especially for inexperienced users, but that’s mainly because it offers a lot of capabilities and configurability.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grafana helps us keep all our traffic data in one place and actually make sense of it. Instead of jumping between tools, we can quickly see where users are coming from and spot any unusual changes. It’s saved us time and made monitoring way more straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

It's difficult to setup initially and requires the help of technical teams

It really helps in identifying the problems faster, when an application/server goes down or slows

  ### 50. Beautiful Dashboards, Simple Setup, Needs Better Automation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Grafana Labs?**

I use Grafana Labs for monitoring our infrastructure, particularly for Cyberark Devices. I find it to be a simple SQL-based tool that's very efficient for its dashboards and offers a one-view pane to identify exact issues quickly. I like how Grafana has very beautiful dashboards, and we can easily create custom SQL queries to capture any needed information and display it on the dashboard. The level of monitoring it provides is quite accurate. Also, I appreciate that the initial setup is quite simple due to its SQL-based design.

**What do you dislike about Grafana Labs?**

Grafana Labs doesn't have native functionality to cut an incident automatically via integration to ticketing tools.

**What problems is Grafana Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grafana Labs for efficient infrastructure monitoring, especially Cyberark devices. Its SQL-based tool simplifies creating custom queries and dashboards, providing accurate monitoring and a single view pane to pinpoint issues.
