It's nice to have a solution that operates behind the scenes. Our users feel quite secure that GlobalVision is looking over their jobs like a digital guardian angel. Setting up just the right profile was a bit tedious, only because we wanted a single inspection profile that would work well for a wide range of graphics while requiring no user intervention. The software took our company QC to a new higher level. Time is incredibly important in my position and the speed this program provides eases my mind and allows me to end my day feeling accomplished. I dislike the merged documents not being viewed in the center of the screen as they did in the first program I used. Leaning to the right makes comparing art difficult as I need to view it straight ahead and not from the side. The ability to zoom in and out is a little frustrating. Liked the ability to compare text and graphic elements of incoming files to the output. It helps catch subtle, but very important differences that could easily be missed by a manual spot check. We dealt with touchy results, even when using custom settings. A large art of the inspection process is color comparison and GV would only show the color readout, including spot colors in CMYK, RGB, etc. It did not show individual spot color information which is crucial to the review. There are also limitations text comparison if the fonts in the file were outlined, which over half of our files are supplied that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Global Vision has helped our organization to find errors in nutritional facts that are hard to see by the naked eye. Global Vision has also been used to verify splices to prevent mixed copy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bar code scanning on Global Vision is the least useful feature. Our company procedure requires a print out of the bar code being scanned that shows grade level and decode ability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciated the WebEx format for technical support with Wade Alleyne of Global Vision. I’m not a novice with technology, but after reaching a point of frustration he “virtually” spent quite a bit of time with me and controlling my computer. With his expertise, he discovered that it wasn’t actually a mistake on my part! I just didn’t have enough memory to run the application. He stayed in the WebEx long enough for me to bring my superior into my office where he literally showed her how more memory and explained how an upgrade would not only make my work more efficient but would benefit our company. His recommendation was very effective. Thank you, Global Vision, for your great customer support… especially your outstanding support technician, Wade Alleyne!

Occasionally, when I refresh to compare page two of a document the application will freeze up. If I restart the application and begin with comparing page two, then I don't have the problem anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
