**What do you like best about GatherUp?**

I've thoroughly enjoyed getting familiar with this product, both for my own business and for clients I serve in my agency. GatherUp is like a missing puzzle piece I'm grateful to have finally found! Not only is my own review-gathering process more streamlined, but I've got a new productized service I can sell to my clients. My onboarding experience with Mike was world-class. I'm super confident in my ability to use the software and leverage it for my and my clients' business growth. GatherUp is an easy '"YES" for any individual business or agency looking to offer review/reputation management to their clients

**What do you dislike about GatherUp?**

I'd love to see a native email signature widget come to GatherUp in the near future. Though it's easy to add your GatherUp review link to an email signature, I'd love to see a stylized thumbs up/down element that can be added to an email signature to increase engagement. That's a great value add I'd like to provide to clients I onboard onto GatherUp.

**What problems is GatherUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've always kept my Google Business Profile review link handy so I can easily send it clients when I'm ready to request a review. But GatherUp is a much more elegant solution that makes the initial review request and automated follow-ups a breeze.

GatherUp is solving the challenge of efficiently managing our clients' Google Business Profiles and overall online reputation. Before using GatherUp, keeping track of reviews, responding promptly, and maintaining consistent communication across multiple profiles was time-consuming and prone to errors.

Now, with GatherUp, we can easily monitor and manage all our clients' reviews in one platform, ensuring we never miss important feedback.

I considered another software but their sales people were more roadblocks than helpful, with layer upon layer of questions and not directly answering my questions first. I like some of the new features added (SMS Marketing, automated replies). Looking forward to implementing GatherUp for 5 of my existing clients. Oh, and onboarding was easy, insightful and fun

When I find something I don't like, I'll come back to this site and let you know.

I am implementing Local SEO for 5 clients. GatherUp will streamline the reputation management process and allow me to work less. It's also white-labeled so I've offered it to my clients as "my software app"

**What do you like best about GatherUp?**

Ease of use and support. GatherUp has set the bar high for other companies to follow. After you sign up, you get a dedicated support person who walks you through the entire process step by step, in dedicated video sessions to show you how it works and to answer any questions. It has a lot of bells and whistles so it's good to have this support, but it's also very easy to use once you know the basics.

**What do you dislike about GatherUp?**

There isn't anything to dislike. There are a few features still missing that I am looking forward to in the next upgrade, like being able to combine locations for an aggregate review widget when using the tag manager for selective display. But this is a very minor detail in an otherwise great product.

**What problems is GatherUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have several services and locations. One struggled with negative reviews, and other with not enough reviews at all. The concept of GatherUp is brilliant - ask for feedback and then encourage positive responders with repeated (but not spammy) reminders to leave public reviews. It was worked well - we are getting so much more feedback than before, most of it positive, and the negative feedback we've gotten has really helped us to pinpoint flaws in our services that we were able to improve. And it has helped with SEO using the widgets to display up-to-date feedback on our website.

I love the way Gatlin and other employees faced with challenging customer service issues stick with you until the problem is solved. I left a competitor because of CS issues. GatherUp is exceptional!

**What do you dislike about GatherUp?**

I would like to be able to turn off follow up emails with a toggle. As it is only one of seven can be turned off.

**Recommendations to others considering GatherUp:**

Having an agency rep(Chris Walker) shows the company’s commitment to their most valuable partners.  I feel like a member of the Gather Up team. Mike  Blumenthal and his thought leadership in the space is also a huge asset!

**What problems is GatherUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The NPS score and the ability to use those as part of the website integration is outstanding.

Easy to use and deploy with great results. The software is easy to use for our store locations with very little training and is very intuitive. Not only has it helped to see what we're doing right as a business but where we can improve. Their customer support has always been there to resolve any problems, which are very infrequent, quickly.

No complaints great product all around to help get important customer feedback.

**Recommendations to others considering GatherUp:**

The product, price and service has been excellent. Over the years I have received nothing but quality from this product, if you have a single business or many businesses this is the perfect solution for customer feedback from both 1st party reviews and growing your online review presence. Besides the obvious benefit of getting feedback from your customers it is a vital part of SEO and growing your business presence online.

**What problems is GatherUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company manages over 75 locations, getting customer feedback and growing online reviews can be very challenging. GatherUp puts all the tools needed to get customer feedback, provide rich snippets for SEO and reporting all in one place. I have been using their service since 2014 and as our company has grown so have they. GatherUp continues to improve their platform and adapt to changes while providing support for customer success.

**What do you like best about GatherUp?**

It is very simple to set up a campaign and get started with this tool. And installing the widgets and pop ups on this site is made extremely easy. The customer service is also always quick to respond and very helpful. Very useful online guide to help you figure out how to best use the tool, and implement the different features it offers.

**What do you dislike about GatherUp?**

Unfortunately you cannot pause campaigns for reviews once you send out a list, like with BirdEye. Now that we know this, we can warn our clients ahead of time to ensure that they properly vet their email lists. Also, there are a lot of options (which is great) but the downside is that there isn't always enough explanation of the options in the actual tool itself.

**What problems is GatherUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to reach over 100 Google reviews for several of our clients, and they are also happy with how quick and simple the tool is. Our clients are also able to see valuable feedback when they choose to only send out emails for 1st party reviews.

**What do you like best about GatherUp?**

GatherUp is an extremely useful SEO tool that I would highly recommend. Their reputation management services have become a staple for our business. Our clients love the portal and the ability to manage their reviews from one spot. Customer service is also incredibly stellar - very quick to respond, very educational, professional, and friendly. They're never too busy to take time out for a quick consult call to educate you on what you're having issues with. The interface is pretty user friendly and intuitive, which is great for some of our older clients who still want to be in touch with the world of today's internet.

I can't say there's really anything I dislike - any time I've had an issue with anything related to GatherUp, their customer service is very quick to respond and help out, and often teach me additional tips.

Ask any and all questions you have! They're great at being upfront and honest.

Having reputation management all in one space is a huge problem solver, and the benefits associated with that are definitely client satisfaction. Makes it much easier for clients to interact with and be aware of their reviews.

Mike Blumenthal with GatherUp was excellent in his explanation and assistance in setup!  I believe this system will benefit my organization tremendously now and in the future.  I am seriously considering upgrading to the next level.

**What do you dislike about GatherUp?**

I have no issues so far and doubt I will have any problems.  The system is easy to operate and the GatherUp team imbedded the code in my website.  I still need to contact my web admin to tweak a few things, but they are all relatively minor.  For the most part GatherUp sets most everything up and teaches you what to do.

**What problems is GatherUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is an extremely simple solution to gathering reviews.  Reviews are very important and often used by consumers today in the decision making process.  It's very important to have a strong web and social media presence.  Using GatherUp in order to boost my online reviews and have them on my website, twitter, facebook and linkedin will definitely bolster my online profile and boost search placement.

I love being able to tag reviews so they can be segmented for display on our websites. Whether it's a service or an individual, I can filter them for display in addition to sharing them on social media for added value. Their support is also a wonderful asset. Anytime we have a question they immediately reply and help in any way possible. I highly recommend GatherUp for your reputation management needs.

Customizations can be limited, but overall this is outweighed by their excellent product.

We are solving our clients' issue of getting new reviews and displaying the most recent reviews on their website. An added benefit is that GatherUp already assists in adding schema to the reviews' output when embedded on their site.

I like the GatherUp platform, but what I may like best is the customer service team. They are super easy to work with and always quick to help if needed. Thankfully, the platform is easy to use so I have not needed them often, but when I do, they take great care of me.

There is not much that I do not like. The things that I was not initially satisfied with turned out to be my fault (not changing messaging options used on the forms and the like).

I used GatherUp to provide an easy and branded way for my clients to ask for reviews. The emails and text messages that come from GatherUp are well designed and solve my needs well.

It's a one-stop shop for everything review-related! Not only can we invite our clients to review us straight from the platform, but we can also respond to all reviews on the GatherUp account manager rather than logging into Google, Facebook, etc. It's been helpful to have the opportunity to see all reviews on one dashboard: office managers can ensure that each review has a response.  Lastly, I can manage several businesses on one account which makes my life easier.

**What do you dislike about GatherUp?**

I really like the platform! I just wish that we could publish some of the reviews we receive directly on GatherUp to google or facebook. I know that isn't possible but would be great!

**What problems is GatherUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's been helpful to ensure that offices are responding to reviews. Also, we are getting better feedback from our clients/caregivers when it is through a third party such as GatherUp.

**What do you like best about GatherUp?**

Excellent customer service, flawless platform. During onboarding they were with us every step of the way and helping navigate integrations. We have weekly and monthly check-ins with our GatherUp representative and their customer service has been top notch. The platform has never dissapointed and they continue to make new updates with helpful features.

**What do you dislike about GatherUp?**

They do not currently integrate with Yelp.

**What problems is GatherUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During Covid, we were debating as a company to enforce masks in all locations or not. We created a custom tag for reviews to track guest sentiment about masks in our locations, and found a less-than-average NPS score which influenced our decision to implement masks.

The review display widgets for use on your company website are a bit dated. Really would love some more modern design options for those.

Out of every software company we have dealt with, these guys are by far at the top! They address issues in a crazy short time and are always eager to get questions and concerns dealt with ASAP. Never had an issue they weren’t able to solve. Super responsive!

The tool set up takes a little longer than we hope but not sure there is a better way out there

Love kiosk mode.

I was hoping for more success support having been working with one of the original founders in the past.
I wish there were more integrations such as NextDoor which has become a big trend for certain markets (real estate agents).

Certain of my clients are in need of a manageable platform. Getting good supply of feedback and being able to integrate it with their website is a great tool.

All I need to do is enter a client's name, email, and phone number - the GatherUp platform handles the rest. In terms of affordability, you will not find another platform that offers as many features as GatherUp does for the price that they do.  And, GatherUp is backed by a team of super-talented folks who know everything there is to know about reviews and will help you achieve the most out of the platform.  Lastly, GatherUp has something to offer for every business sector, ranging from real estate to law.  One word summarizes GatherUp:  Awesome!

**What do you dislike about GatherUp?**

This is perhaps the only time that I really cannot think of anything that I dislike about GatherUp.  Perhaps the only complaint I have, and it is a minor one, is that the user-interface could use some tweaking.

There is no better way to improve business than by hearing directly from those who it is impacting. Additionally, the company is great about rolling out new improvements and features frequently so I always feel up to date.

Sometimes I have to dig around with settings to find simple features, not sure if this is a tactic to get users to explore different features but it is off-putting at times. Maybe it is the downside to frequent updates. Additionally, I would prefer to pay up front versus monthly.

As an agency, we like the white-label option.  It's easy to use, easy to implement, and easy for both our clients to wrap the heads around, as well as our valuable marketing team members.  It makes their lives easier!

It would great if we can show a customer's reviews with first name last name vs. first name last initial.  

I believe the review would look more credible.  Further, I believe having a job title with the review could be a great build for B2B customers.

Get Five Stars does two things very well.  I've been working in reputation management for more than 10 years and this is the best way to succeed in your business reputation management program.

First it works extremely well to gather customer feedback.  The Net Promoter metric used by Get Five Stars is the best overall predictor of customer satisfaction correlated with business growth.  The study verifying this was published in the Harvard Business Review as "The One Number You Need to Grow" in 2003.  No other business reviews system uses such an extensively verified metric.

I love the fact that it is simple to use and allows us to gather feedback from our customers, which helps us to improve our business. I also love that it is affordable! Being a small business, we need to make budgets go farther and GetFiveStars allows us to collect feedback AND publish testimonials in real time, and with a minimal investment and no contract.

I wish there was more robust back-end reporting that allowed you to pull aggregated data on response rates and latency. That said, I have suggested some improvements and they have made them very quickly so I'm sure it could be in the pipeline if enough users find value in it.
