Who is Front pricing best suited for?

Front's pricing is best suited for mid-market teams in industries like logistics, software, real estate, and professional services that handle high email volumes collaboratively. According to G2 reviewers, the Starter tier works well for small businesses needing basic shared inbox management, while the Professional tier at $65.00 appeals to growing mid-market teams requiring omnichannel support and advanced analytics. The Enterprise tier at $105.00 targets larger organizations needing AI-driven tools, custom roles, and multi-language knowledge bases. G2 reviews from small businesses frequently flag the per-seat pricing model as a barrier to scaling, suggesting Front delivers the strongest value-to-cost ratio for teams of 10 to 200 users.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Front?

Front does not offer a permanent free version, but a free trial is available for teams evaluating its capabilities. According to G2's pricing data for Front, the Starter tier at $25.00 per seat covers shared inboxes, basic analytics, up to 10 automation rules, and a no-code knowledge base. Front's higher tiers unlock omnichannel support, SSO, SCIM, advanced analytics, and AI-powered features like AI Copilot and CSAT at the Enterprise level ($105.00). G2 reviewers frequently note that key integrations and automation capabilities are restricted to pricier plans, making tier selection critical for teams needing CRM connectivity or unlimited workflow rules.

Is Front considered good value for its pricing?

Front is widely regarded as a premium investment that delivers strong value for teams that fully utilize its collaboration features, though pricing is a recurring concern. G2 reviewers consistently praise shared inboxes, internal commenting, automation rules, and AI tools as genuine productivity boosters. However, pricing complaints appear across dozens of reviews, with G2 users from small businesses and mid-market companies frequently noting that Front's pricing is expensive relative to competitors, and that advanced features locked behind higher tiers create steep upgrade costs. Reviewers who switched from tools like ZenDesk or Gmail report significant efficiency gains, suggesting Front's pricing of Front is justified for high-volume, team-based communication environments.

What do you like best about Front?

The features are good, the app is stable, and the feature set keeps growing over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

Extremely overpriced, and the pricing is very complicated. They ask you to pay separately for every feature. They will lock you into a contract, and any new features released after your signup date are only available at an extra cost. Even with a simple email, they will flip before renewing your contract for another year. There is no flexibility at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
