The tools are incredible, and once you set up keyboard shortcuts for various functions, the workflow is very good. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** The program (FOXIT PDF Editor)is UNSTABLE. It crashes frequently and for no apparent reason at all!! This negates ANY positive thing I could say about the program! I have opened up support tickets and I'm very dissatisfied with the response. They don't seem to do anything about it....their support leaves much to be desired. The longer a document is being edited - especially multi-page and/or if you have 2 docs opened in side by side view, the chances of a crash go way up. When the program crashes, many times it just "disappears".... poof...gone. No error message no nothing, and all the edits are lost!!! This is extremely frustrating. Also, key mappings have changed from version to version. NOw, for some reason, trying to map certain keys doesn't work becasue they are already mapped.....but IT WON'T TELL me what they are mappped to!! DOes that make any sense?? Foxit should devote all their efforts to stabilzing the program above all else - becasue I don't care HOW good a program is, if it crashes unexpectedly and does it a lot, it's USELESS to me. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me solve many editing issues - which I NEED to do in my business.... I did not like that I had to download it to my PC in order to use it only to find out that most of the features were not accessible without a subscription. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** The few things I was able to do like editing documents was nice and simple. Unfortunately saving the document was not possible unless I bought a subscription which I did not so I was limited in what I needed to do with it. ### 9. It's nice it's a local application. It has all the features we need. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** The volume licensing and roll out to 50+ users has been painful. The Admin console has bugs and randomly revokes licenses for users, so you can imagine when 50+ users see their licenses are revoked, how upset they are. Their licenses get revoked at 6 pm CST and you have no idea as an IT admin, until you're getting emails from angry users on something you didn't even touch or having anything to do with. **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can edit PDF's and have an e-sign feature in the same platform. ### 11. You are not able to highlight a text and delete the highlight and text. I like the tools to manipulate, merge and split documents. I like that documents can be easily converted and the addons to the office suite so that documents can be saved as secure searchable PDF's. I like the training videos and free webinars. I like the support staff. **What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?** I hate that it crashes continuously not long after I use the UNDO command. I hate that I can't edit the graph part of pictures like I could with PhantomPDF. I hate that sometimes, I have no access to any commands other than reading without printing it with CutePDF to have the document recognized. **Recommendations to others considering Foxit PDF Editor:** Efficient software for a very reasonable price **What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used to be able to: edit PDF documents easily; remove technical information for production designs to show only relevant info; easily sign documents. I had a license to the phantom pdf software and they foxit changed and basically made that software worthless and unusable as I could not upgrade.
