**What do you like best about foreUP?**

I use foreUP for various aspects of our golf club's operations like sales, member billing, and generating revenue reports. It streamlines the process of member billing and helps with revenue reports effectively. I really appreciate the customer service because of their availability and knowledge. The software makes billing for our members easy and allows for the generation of several different types of reports with ease. Additionally, the initial setup of foreUP was very easy.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

I find the ability to refund back to credit cards and ACH refunds to be lacking.

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use foreUP for golf club sales, member billing, member charges, and revenue reports. It streamlines member billing and revenue reports, easing the billing process and report generation.

Still relatively new to golf market, some gaps in functionality...nothing major

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrates tee sheet, pro shop, and F&B departments.  Eliminates dependencies on server technologies...all you need is an internet connection.  Great integrations with other software for marketing and accounting.

**What do you like best about foreUP?**

The POS and Tee sheet are well integrated and very user friendly.  Easy to learn and navigate as well as being able to customize and create efficiency within the tool.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

Some of the reporting modules can be better and has gotten better over time.  Also, their are a few inefficiencies that are created within the tee sheet, for example you have to click a pencil icon to enter a new user and their information into the customer module even though there are email/phone and additional fields within the tee sheet module itself.  The fact that the system is fully on the cloud is both great, but a detriment at times, if our internet goes down or has issues, we are stuck without being able to ring people up who need to use a credit card.  There are ways around it, but not easy if there is a less technically savvy person working in the shop.

**Recommendations to others considering foreUP:**

ForeUp is easy to learn and easy to use.  The support teams are responsive and offer quick solutions.  The development teams are constantly trying to improve the product and make changes consistently, particularly with the 12 days of Christmas updates which has happened every year since we have had ForeUp.

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the system on the cloud allows me to see all transactions when I'm not at the course.  Having the POS and Tee sheet integrated together allows for better reporting and a 1 stop shop for that.  Just being able to report on rounds played is huge for us as it was all pen and paper before we took ownership and implemented ForeUp.  Also, having a billing module has allowed us to keep everything consistent as far as member balances and bills.  We've also been able to have all users clock in through ForeUp which makes payroll easier.

**What do you like best about foreUP?**

foreUP is an extremely user friendly cloud based POS and tee sheet system. The setup and transition from our old system to foreUP was easy. My account manager is amazing! He responds almost immediately anytime I need help with anything. I've converted all 5 of my golf courses to foreUP. The reporting is cohesive and universal across all my courses, and it makes things so much easier. You can setup the system however you'd like. You start with an empty shell and customize it to your specific needs. I can access it from anywhere which allows me to help customers 24/7. This system also integrates with Event Pro 360, the event management software we use. It make taking client payments a breeze. The things that foreUP can do is endless. I would highly recommend switching to foreUP.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

The only things that I disliked about moving to foreUP was that the gift card information from our old system didn't all import. I've had multiple instances where a gift card was purchased with the old system, but couldn't be found in foreUP. When that happens, all I have to do is enter the gift card, which is simple and quick. Therefore, I really don't have any dislikes about foreUP, since any little hiccups are easy to fix.

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

foreUP has made the financial reporting and tracking for each course so much simpler. I can print a report for all the courses at once and compare them. My golf staff is able to see the tee sheets at all my other courses and can make tee times for them. That is a godsend. We are able to improve our customer service while making the back end operations so much more efficient.

**What do you like best about foreUP?**

The customer service is superb.  They follow up often and even help with fixes to help address our Resort's needs.  I also like that you can contact customer service online at anytime.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

I print the resorts and do all of the auditing for the Resort.  Sometimes I would prefer to be able to select all of the reports I'd like to print at once so I do not have to individually print each report.  Also not all reports are in new reporting and not all are in old reporting so I have to use both to access the information I need to complete my audit.

**Recommendations to others considering foreUP:**

I would definitely consider this as it is an easy to use platform that meets almost all of my needs and expectations.

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inventory has never been a top priority on the same platform as we sell on.  Now it is all in one and is helping track our sales much better.

**What do you like best about foreUP?**

I love the reporting and Inventory modules the most.  As a manager it allows me to track sales and productivity in real time.  I can also see what inventory is selling and what is sitting around that we need to move out.  Everything is very user friendly and easy to find. This software package has a lot of excellent tools and options for any company to use.  The only thing that I do not utilize is the tee sheet.  That is because I am a private gun club and not a golf course.  This software meets all of my needs and wasn't designed for my industry.  I did a lot of research on software and this was hands down the best.  The more I use the software the more I know I made the best choice for my company.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

Some functions on ForeUp can be a bit clunky and need some refinement.  It would be helpful if there were some extra features to speed up looking through inventory or groups of inventory.  It would be great if the inventory module had some more flexibility and conversions for Food and Beverage items.  These are just minor refinements.  The software is great and tough to find anything that I dislike about it.  Also I run a private gun club and not a golf course.  The program wasn't designed for my use but it flexible to the point where I can utilize over 90% of the functions this software has to offer.

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My previous software did not have an inventory module.  This has helped in selling ammunition and other shooting related goods.  I can track the age of products and see sales trends.  It also helps with keeping the Bar stocked.  I can see what beer or liquor we are getting low on without going into the storage room.  It saves time and money on ordering.  Also with the reporting software I will be able to compare year over year and be able to forecast shooting income and look for trends that happen at my company.  Now I won't need to have 20 spreadsheets to look through and manually input data into.  I can just log in from any computer and look at the report.  Saves a lot of time.

**What do you like best about foreUP?**

Cloud based software that is accessible with any electronic device. Plus they are constantly updating and forging new partnerships to integrate other products and services into their platform.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

I have no complaints at this time.  The only thing I could add is maybe offer more training on the reporting capabilities to clients.

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to identify and segment out different types of customers who play during certain times of year or certain times of day.  Now we only target them based on their behaviors.  That way we can maximize our revenues and target higher paying customers when we know they are playing and limit lower paying customers when we know they are playing.  We also are able to track their booking/inquiries behaviors and that helps us know when to spend marketing money to get them to book when we know they are thinking about  playing golf.

**What do you like best about foreUP?**

The Tee-sheet and POS is very user friendly and easy for the staff to pick up from all ages. It is easy to change rates or modify the teesheet. Very easy to set up products and do inventory. Support is really good. I can call the number and someone does get with us to fix an issue or I can contact my account representative. We also are on the fMS program that does all of our marketing for us. We have a dedicated representative for this that is always checking in to see what we would like to do and gives us new ideas to implement.  This leaves us time to assist customers instead of being in the office building emails and Posts.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

The only thing that I dislike right now is that the teesheet is not mobile friendly. They have an app that works great with the POS but the teesheet is not optimized for the mobile side. You can do the tee-sheet but there is lots of scrolling around to try to reserve a tee-time. They are about to release a new tee-sheet that may solve this issue.

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The system helps us navigate the day and show utilization that we are missing. With the built in text marketing and email, this helps to communicate with the golfers for any types of reasons, such as frost delays, course conditions, etc.

I may be biased, because I am a Graphic Communication major, but I love the marketing & email side of ForeUP! I have loved having Jamie & Mark with ForeUP be there to assist me with the emails, social media, and marketing/advertising to help free up time for me to focus on membership sales.

One thing I wish that ForeUP had is a way for our members to make online dining reservations

We are now able to let members book Tee Times & view and pay their statement online! Before, it was all done manually through the employees at our office.

**What do you like best about foreUP?**

foreUP has been blowing me away with all its features and capabilities. The major benefit I see is the integration across multiple platforms. From the Point of Sale (POS) for our Restaurant, Bar, and Pro Shop to tee time scheduling, membership management, social media linking, backend accounting & reporting, and the list goes on.

foreUP's phone and technical support is always there to answer my questions.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

- with all of foreUPs capability it takes dedication to learn and utilize all the features.
- I would prefer more written manuals verses on-line videos and speaking to technical support.

As I stated above  "The major benefit I see is the integration across multiple platforms."

What makes it great, also makes it fragile. If you lose internet connection, you are dead in the water. Be sure you have a solid ISP.

SImple to use, and does a ton of stuff, probably more than you need.

We operate 8 different facilities, and ForeUp makes managing them remotely extremely simple. We used to have a server based system that limited our ability to operate and run reports remotely. We can do almost anything using a cellphone now.

I like the complicity of booking tee times and the ability to move, copy and edit times. The integration with third parties and the notes make it helpful for my staff. They also have a great marketing product and team.

When booking tee times it will sometimes take a 4some and make a single. Have to double check after booking to make sure it saves.

Real time tee sheet for my staff and starter. Fully integrated online store. Multiple options to set up online booking engines.

There is a few accounts on the backside that do not allow our accounting department to function as before, just a learning curve I suppose.

Use all of the training and teachings that they give you before making the switch. Make all staff complete trainings and teachings as well.

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our golf marketing problem will be solved this spring with the ability to sell rounds very easily. I have realized the benefit of simplifying our member information.

The ease of set up and how user friendly the point of sale seems to be.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

They are not as easy to use for multi course operations.  When looking running some reports the user has to log in and out of courses.  One log in does not cover all courses for reporting.

Cost savings over other POS system.  Their trade option is benefits both the course and ForeUp.  Not one sided like other companies.
Website design and hosting is very good and cost effective.

The best thing about Foreup is that it is a truly integrated cloud-based solution (from website, tee sheet, point of sale) everything is seamless.  The time to check in a customer is so much quicker and the true integration of tee sheet and point of sales assists management in tracking rounds, financial management, and reporting.  We love the features of the tee sheet - helps manage play and monitor course activity.  Foreup really delivers on all of our needs which is a refreshing change from dealing with providers in the past that sell features and integration but do not deliver on the product and support.  It is also beneficial to have a product that was developed specifically for golf courses.

None - any additional feature or issue that we reported was resolved or enhanced in the new tee sheet.

I love how simple the navigation is. We have many people who work in the shop and after a few hours they have the system figured out.

I feel that there could be a few more things that could make the system more intuitive. Also ways to aid our customer base in a more efficient manner.

I've been using ForeUp for 7 years at Prairie View Golf Club, and the software works exactly like you think it should. VERY easy to explain and train other staff to use.

The system does most everything you need in the golf business

There was a little bit of a learning curve understanding how the system works for our particular operations

Challenges of having nine different courses sharing databases and slightly different operating methods.  We didn't utilize the individual course training so that it a little more difficult in the beginning.      We have gotten a little more support in the past several months trying to set up some things we want to implement.

I’ve never heard a support team use the term “work around” this much.

Software features missing, ease of use, technical finickiness with hardware, lack of useful reporting and Lack of support before 10am

There are some very competitive golf management platforms out there. This is not one of them

I was able to eliminate a software package from eligibility and hopefully save other operators from making the same mistake we did with ForeUp.

The amount of data it holds is great! The support team is amazing and prompt with responses.

**What do you dislike about foreUP?**

It's not an accounting software, so it doesn't create the reports that I need. I'm having to pull data and make my own, which is very time consuming.

**What problems is foreUP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online billing for our members was an issue before, so it's great that we are able to offer that feature as well as exact time transactions, so members can check their accounts daily.
