FolderPal Reviews & Product Details

FolderPal is Google Drive folder automation software that helps teams set up consistent folders and files for every new client, project or onboarding. Copy an entire Google Drive folder with its subfolders and files, or create reusable Google Drive folder templates to generate the same structure whenever work begins. For teams that repeatedly rebuild folders, copy documents and rename files, FolderPal turns manual setup into a repeatable process. Your team can start with the folder structure and supporting files it needs, with less manual copying and fewer naming inconsistencies. No scripts are required. Build a template in the visual editor or import an existing Google Drive folder. Add dynamic merge fields for client names, project names and dates. Enter the values when you generate a new structure, and FolderPal applies them across folder and file names automatically. For example, an agency can reuse its client onboarding template with each new client’s name applied throughout the copied folders and files. FolderPal works with My Drive and Shared Drives. Google Docs, Sheets and Slides retain their native formats, alongside Microsoft Office files, PDFs and images. Create full file copies or add shortcuts to keep a shared original accessible from each new folder structure. Configure sharing permissions for each template or individual copy. To automate folder setup as part of a broader workflow, developers can connect FolderPal to CRMs, forms and internal tools through its API, or via the Zapier/Make integrations. Common uses include client onboarding for agencies and accounting firms, project folder setup for construction and professional services, case folders for legal teams, and class folders for teachers preparing a new term. FolderPal is available on the Google Workspace Marketplace and connects to Google Drive through Google OAuth. FolderPal never reads or stores file contents or edits or deletes your existing files.
