# What Are the Highest-Rated Website Change Monitoring Tools for Enterprise Security and Compliance?

Oh Dear: monitors SSL certificates, DNS records, and security headers alongside uptime, with EU-based data storage built around GDPR requirements. Reviewers consistently point to it being reliable enough to set up once and rarely think about again. It sits in the High Performer quadrant on the category's Grid, meaning strong satisfaction but a smaller market footprint than the category Leaders.

Conductor: an actual category Leader, used by large enterprise customers including Citi and FedEx for continuous site health monitoring, though it is built more broadly around SEO and site health than compliance specifically.

Worth kicking the tires yourself before leaning on that positioning.

Has anyone here specifically used one of these for compliance monitoring rather than competitive tracking?
For compliance, I’d separate detecting a change from proving what changed later. An alert is useful operationally, but an audit usually needs the old version, the new version, a timestamp, and enough history to reconstruct what happened. I’d test that evidence trail directly, especially retention and export, rather than treating reliable monitoring alone as proof the platform will hold up during an audit.
