## Fly.io Reviews
 ### 1. Best deployment platform for Elixir/Phoenix — highly recommended

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piotr W. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fly.io?**

Fly.io is the best deployment platform I've used for Elixir/Phoenix applications. The CLI is intuitive, deployments are fast, and the London region means low latency for my UK users. The automatic HTTPS, built-in metrics and the ability to scale to zero make it perfect for indie SaaS projects. Deploying a Phoenix app takes minutes, not hours.

**What do you dislike about Fly.io?**

The main limitation is the number of available regions — I'd love to see Poland added as a deployment region for better latency for Central European users. The documentation can sometimes be inconsistent between the new and old platform versions which caused some confusion during initial setup. Pricing can also be hard to predict for smaller projects.

**What problems is Fly.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fly.io to deploy my Elixir/Phoenix SaaS application Expiro. Before Fly.io I struggled with complex server configuration and slow deployment pipelines. Now I can deploy a new version in under 2 minutes with a single CLI command. The built-in metrics and logging mean I spend less time debugging infrastructure issues and more time building features. For a solo founder, this is invaluable — I estimate it saves me 3-4 hours per week compared to managing my own VPS.

 ### 2. From development to production in record time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel P. | Engineer II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Fly.io?**

The speed with which we can deploy our applications with just a few clicks. The possibility of deploying applications for free to test the service and its quality is another thing that I think is great.

**What do you dislike about Fly.io?**

I think the amount of resources allowed for the free plan could be better, which causes experimental projects to have difficulties.

**What problems is Fly.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Application deployment, and I benefit from the fact that it is very easy to do it.

 ### 3. Easiest way to deploy my apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan A. | Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Fly.io?**

The CLI is amazing. I have a Mac and using the terminal to deploy my apps and creating volumes works like magic. I love it!

**What do you dislike about Fly.io?**

It is hard to mention something, I would say I dont like that they removed the free plan, but I know these are bussiness.

**What problems is Fly.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I helped me a lot to simplify the way I deploy and monitor my apps.
