It's cool that you can take a test at the beginning and "filter" out topics that you already know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When you filter out the topics you already know, you end up missing some of the naming language Filtered uses for the product, so as you move into topics you don't know, it's more confusing because you may not be aware of the titles they are calling toolbars, buttons, etc.

For the topics you already know, the training makes sense. For the topics you don't know or want to learn more about, it is hard to understand the lesson.

Filtered is great for learners that do best at their own pace. You will have to be well disciplined to get the most out of the software (i.e. completing the recommended activities, listening to the lectures, and taking the tests), but if you are a visual learner and are motivated to learn then it's great! I wish they had on demand teachers - maybe open communication via chat boxes if people have specific questions. That would take this software to a whole new level! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
