The Facilitate VR platform is a user friendly, comprehensive VR creation suite that really enables me, as a Learning Technologist, to create bespoke 360VR content that is engaging and innovative. Introducing it within the learning environment at Coleg Y Cymoedd has encouraged new ways of engaging with students across a broad range of subject areas including Catering & Hospitality, Automotive Engineering, Plumbing and Sports.

It has helped us to take elements of a course that traditionally may be dis-engaging and give them a different spin - we've found it particularly useful for Health & Safety modules and for "process refreshers": walking learners through using pieces of equipment after their initial induction session, reinforcing what they've already learned in a previous lesson.

Learners have responded very positvely to the introduction of Facilitate, as have staff members who are regularly approaching the Tecnology Enhanced Learning department to create bespoke sessions for their respective courses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Facilitate may benefit from the introduction of a dedicated desktop app for creation of resources in future, as the nature of using it on a vast campus inevitably means that WiFi connection strengths in certain areas of our buildings can vary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support team are fantastic. The onboarding process was really easy and I had someone to call or brainstorm ideas with every step of the way. The product itself is also incredibly simple to use. You can have your first a VR course done it less than an hour! There are a multitude of ways you can engage your learners so the options for course development are huge! You dont need to be a technical wizard to author content and administer the platform. If you can use rise and administer an LMS currently - this will be a very easy platform to learn and master. Run training sessions in VR with your students/trainees remotely.

With Facilitate you can bring students together in VR from anywhere in the world. Teleport them together to a place they might never otherwise see and start a discussion whilst immersed in the tour.

Corporate customers can run immersive VR training sessions using fireside discussions with slide presentations and then teleporting trainees to technical facilities somewhere else in the world.

Create your own content using a guided wizard, and easily taylor your training to your organisation's needs. You don't need to be a technical genius to do it. Its really simple!

As someone working in a college, I see great potential in Facilitate for enhancing our induction and health and safety training programs. The platform allows us to create immersive, no-code virtual reality (VR) experiences tailored to our students’ needs. We could easily use this for onboarding new students and staff, as well as for delivering engaging health and safety training, making it more interactive and memorable. Thanks to Facilitate, our 690 schools are able to build their own custom immersive content. The platform offers them a lot of functionalities to work with, from 360° images, 360° videos to microsimulations, 3D models and more.

This offers a great way to learn for teachers and their students.

It puts the power of VR into the hands of L&D making it easier for them to create and manage immersive content. The ease with which I am able to create vr videos for my business is really impressive. There are some other competitors but they are not as user friendly as Facilitate. Although I personally haven't used this feature but I think the ability to publicize your work to others ethier using vr headsets or windows apps is something that keeps Facilitate few steps ahead of its Competetion. Facilitate has plenty of features but I feel they could work more on the video quality especially the 360 view one. Also trial feels somewhat different from the real paid product. I think this somewhere Facilitate should really look into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
