"Above average service response times and communication"

For the past 5 years Essintial has been the sole source provider of service coverage for break/fix calls for The Hillman Group in Canada and on an as-needed basis in the US. We have also contracted Essintial for a few technical projects that required 3rd party service.

What do you like best?

What I like most is that Essintial has a streamlined process for dispatching their reps and in the event that escalation is needed, we have had little to no difficulty in reaching someone. Also, I like that Essintial reps can be dispatched on weekends as we often need coverage on the weekends for higher volume accounts.

What do you dislike?

On occasion there has been a lack of communication when an Essintial rep has not made it out to a location when expected or when a call was completed but we were not contacted to close the case. Also, there has been some turnover in account management and I have not always been notified promptly when these changes occur.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Essintial is providing Hillman with technically-skilled labor at an affordable cost for areas of the US and Canada where we do not have (and cannot justify having) an in-house service rep. Essintial has saved us thousands of dollars by helping to maintain high kiosk uptime.

"Capabilities "

Describe the project or task the product helped with:

POS Support. Project rollout, asset tracking, on-going help desk and field B/F support.

What do you like best?

The on-going management structure and processes insure quality service attainment.

What do you dislike?

I don't have any negative comments. The team has been responsive and flexible.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a national support organization to provide on-site support services supported by centralized call flow management and reporting.

Essintial manages our Equipment Depot. They restore, stock and send hardware replacements as needed.

What do you like best?

The team is extremely reactive and communicative.

What do you dislike?

Not much. Any challenges have been worked through by the team.

Deployment, On-Site, Smart Hands, Asset management, Project Management, Reporting... you name it.

What do you like best?

Their customer-centric focus, which values the quality of the services being offered, and the quality of their customer relationships.

What do you dislike?

I do not like that our opportunities seem to outnumber the people working on them :-)

Essintial provides the customer support services includes onsite service, parts management (shipments and storage), and hardware installation.

What do you like best?

Work with Essintial is very effetive, the communication between us is easy and effeicient.

What do you dislike?

I do not have anything that dislike with Essintial

Essintial provides survey, hardware installation, customer support etc. all in one capability, in order to support our customers’ needs rapidly.

What do you like best?

Account/Sales leadership is engaged and committed to delivering quality service.

Certain techs not following client direction.

Remote/Whitespace support. Essintial is an extension of our internal team.
