When creating an associate work order, it would be great if the associated work order could capture the detail of the original work order rather than us having to copy and paste all the information. Reporting feature makes it difficult to capture specific work orders. I used the search option more to locate work orders. Me and another co-worker are often in the system at the same time and end up working on the same work order, would be great if the system alerted me that someone else was modifying the work order. Our mechanics have the ability to enter their own time as well as make changes to their co-workers time because of this we have to generate individual work orders to our mechanics to ensure their time has not been manipulated. The best feature of Hippo is it's many features. The abilities to enter pictures and documents specific to each machine, to house Lockout/Tagout procedures and control inventory, along with many other capabilities, add a lot of value to this program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Eptura Asset? I am still getting a lot of what Hippo likes to call Hiccups but most of them work themselves out in a short time. The more challenging issues are generally worked out in a day or two. Another frustrating issue relates to the status of the work order. Primarily status updates are designed for the maintenance person but occasionally managers and executives need to act. When this happens, the work order is placed in a 'Pending Review' status. When the managers are unable or unwilling to act promptly it send the work order into an overdue status which makes the technician look bad. The only fix is for the technician to continuously update the due dates which takes up time most technician could spend in better ways. It would be nice if the due date automatically updated when the work order is placed on Hold or Pending Review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. We store our certificates from every machine and attach them with work orders, this way we can stay in compliance, no more PM data binders or missing papers. Hippo CMMS provides a simple and easy-to-use interface that most users can figure out within minutes of logging in. The biggest thing for me in my search for my company's CMMS was something visually driven and robust with data, yet simple and easy to manage for our lean operation. In addition, I love the fact that they constantly release updates to improve the system and take feedback to help develop around what the customer wants, rather than what they think the customer needs. I dislike the fact that it is a newer utility with things in development that I would like to see and be able to use right now. However, I do understand it is a developing platform with a lot of features not baked in that they might have thought were a bit excessive. It would be nice to have more control of the work order creation, assignments and revision details, but I am confident these things will come in future iterations. The reason I would recommend being able to amend a closed work order by the administrator is because there are at times errors by the user who closed the work order. I have had several errors involving incorrect parts issues and also amount of hours worked on a specific problem.
