There's always new things being developed and lots of new additional tools. I also appreciate the great degree of flexibility in the way you can modify and adjust your store. They're setting up new commercial friendly tools, so you can very quickly and easily set up your own store, and it includes a website, making the entire process of ecommerce much simpler. The pricing is great, and it's very quick and adaptable. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** The shipping integrations were not amazing. I had to rebuild my own because it doesn't tailor to international ones. So I had to build my own shipping logic and methods. Likewise, trying to pair that together with the individual items was quite difficult. I had to build essentially my own custom solution. It was quite difficult because we needed to make some modifications to what we wanted to achieve, and the API wasn't fully robust. So there's quite a lot of back support between Ecwid Support and ourselves. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Ecwid for centralizing payment and shipping terms, utilizing developer tools and APIs, making ecommerce simpler with continuous updates, and setting up my store quickly with flexibility. ### 3. I'm not a "techy" person and it was easy to set up my online store. They have so many things you can integrate in your site. They have third party apps that you can or remove for low monthly fees depending on the app. You can customize a lot of things without being techy. You can add extra pages. It's for someone who wants to quickly get up and running with their store without a lot of extra "fluff". THe customer service is amazing! The app runs so smooth and is easy to maneuver. They have tutorial videos on YoutTube, they have very useful articles. They even have a free version if you just want the basics! I am a small business owner and first time online shop owner and they have made things very smooth for me. They also listen to customerfeedback. Many people requested the ability to add pages (me included) and 2 months after my request, I get a follow up that the feature has been enabled!! I was so happy! I use it every single day (multiple times a day sometimes) and it regularly gives me reports, it's easy to process orders and communicate with your customers. I'm really enjoying my time with ECWID and I see myself sticking around for a long time. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** The only downside is that trying to do any kind of very specific customization for your site is going to be very costly but that's why they offer the 3rd party apps and they are working to see how they can improve. I also think that if you get a site/online shop with ECWID, it's not right for someone who wants to customize every little thing. Many of the formulas in the Excel file include HTML code, which allows for some really unique customization. Between that, the customization available to me as the end user, and taking advantage of Ecwid's Custom Development team, we have a website that is addresses the unique pricing structure and disclosure requirements of rent-to-own and is considered by most to be best in class in our industry. On top of that, Ecwid was easy to implement and is easy to use. Their support team is superb, and Ecwid easily integrates with just about any CRM (we chose HubSpot). And their pricing (we are at the top tier) is great! **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** Nothing to dislike. We have not found any downside. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ecwid allows us to address the unique requirements of the required pricing and disclosures for rent-to-own by offering a platform that allows for just about all the customization anyone could ever want. More importantly, Ecwid is embeddable code, which allows us to have one online store on two separate company websites (www.shoplifestylenow.com and www.rentmart.com). As we add brands, we can still have one single e-commerce platform. ### 12. I looked around at multiple store software and they either didn't have the options that I wanted or was confusing to use and setup. If you're just starting out, you can use Ecwid for free for up to 10 products and enough of the options available to manage your store, you can start making money today! It also connects to other store streams such as Amazon, Facebook and more to make it easy enough to sell your products and get your brand onto multiple platforms with just a few clicks. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** I use a paid plan but can't edit or create invoices and I believe that should be a part of any paid services Ecwid offers. I have a lot of customization to my products and sometimes customers mess up or change their mind. It doesn't happen a lot and making a note of the change isn't a big deal, but I'd rather send their product with the proper marked invoice/packing slip to match what they wanted. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ecwid provides a ton of options to setup your products and I haven't found a limitation to what I can setup on my products. It's really important because I had a moment that i couldn't do just by myself and the help from staff members was amazing. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** Maybe we could say the price because for start-ups when it's especially a starting point you can't afford to pay monthly, I needed to stop using the website but I had to pay 7$ (don't remember exactly) to have all the stores saved and this wasn't helpful. It is better if the company (person) can't pay 20 or 40$ monthly just stop charging them and stop the website after that when the customer pays monthly payment then you can give and renew all the product which was already uploaded on the website. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** adding details in-store and consultation for managing the site. Also, there was a problem with the CSV file and customer service helped me to upload into website. ### 27. And customer support has always been quick and helpful, especially with integrating new features that require you to check in with customer support. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** Coming from Etsy, the listing viewer seems a bit clunky. I wish there was a thumbnail view so I could see more at once. With Ecwid, this is not a problem. The overall site is intuitive and has numerous checklists that you can simply follow to complete a task. Non only that but if you get stuck, email support gets you a reply within 24 hours or less, you'll get a detailed answer to your query that will in all cases be useful and easy to execute. And at some point, I had several back and forth with support within one day. The other thing that I am discovering is that they have some powerful features. You can sell on different platforms from your Ecwid store. They have the plugins necessary to make a seamless operation. And similarly you can supply your store with POD manufacturers. You can sell physical or digital products. They have the possibility of a setting up subscriptions. They also have a feature to set up to sell on Instagram. Each integration that I have made with my store has been done seamlessly. In addition they have an excellent blog with tons of information to help you market your store. And the articles are of excellent quality and useful. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** To be honest, I'm not too sure if anything at all. At one point I had set up Free Shipping on my items, however, even though I was showing Free Shipping, the shipping was still being added as another button needed to be desactivated so the shipping no longer shows up in the cart. I had missed this. There are so many features that it can be overwhelming at times when you're new to it. Another thing happened is that I couldn't figure out how to delete an item from the cart. There is an X at the top right corner of the item listed to erase it but it was light grey and I totally missed it. When I queried the point, support had made it bigger and visible and given instructions on how to do so in the future. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is one place to monitor different outlets. They tried to push us into using a combined website/store - which cost $$ and we were not interested in doing. After quite a bit of research I discovered Ecwid by Lightspeed. It is awesome. You can start with a Free Plan, but there are options of several other plans as well. I have found Ecwid a dream to use and set up our store - making changes and updates is really easy. The look of our store is contemporary and very slick. In the instances where I have needed Support it was very responsive. And they check back multiple times to make sure that everything is good. Very happy to have switched to Ecwid. **What do you dislike about Ecwid?** I have not encountered anything that I dislike about Ecwid. **What problems is Ecwid solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ecwid is very easy to use and set up a store front.
