The Dogtag Certificate System is an enterprise-class open source Certificate Authority (CA). It is a full-featured system, and has been hardened by real-world deployments. It supports all aspects of certificate lifecycle management, including key archival, OCSP and smartcard management, and much more.
Dogtag PKI isn't necessarily just something meant for those in IT. We actually use it as a way to help secure signatures for forms that student clubs and faculty advisors need to submit. I like that it's not overly complicated and is fairly easy to learn provided you have some background knowledge of pki.
What do you dislike?
I don't like the look of it. It looks outdated and poorly put together at first glance.

Know what you're looking for and how you can use it within your own department. Make sure it's worth investing in and that those who will be using it are supportive of the program.
