Such features make Foxpass an appealing choice for enterprises, educational institutions, and global teams seeking to streamline their authentication processes. Foxpass seamlessly integrates with various identity providers, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure), Google, OKTA, and OneLogin. This integration is complemented by automated certificate management capabilities through leading Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Kandji, and Addigy. Additionally, the built-in Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) workflows enable secure enrollment of unmanaged or personal devices, ensuring that organizations can maintain security standards while accommodating diverse device types. Compliance with industry standards is another critical aspect of Foxpass. The service is designed to meet regulations such as GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FERPA, and CIPA, making it suitable for organizations with stringent compliance requirements. Furthermore, Foxpass offers regional hosting and data residency options, which are essential for organizations that must adhere to specific sovereignty or privacy mandates. This flexibility ensures that users can implement Foxpass in a manner that aligns with their operational and regulatory needs. Overall, Foxpass Cloud RADIUS by Splashtop stands out in the authentication service category by providing a robust, cloud-based solution that enhances security, simplifies management, and supports compliance across various industries. ## Foxpass by Splashtop Reviews
  ### 1. Seamless Centralized Authentication with Reliable RADIUS and Clear Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elias A. | Security Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

What I like most about Foxpass by Splashtop is how seamlessly it centralizes authentication and access control across our environment. The integration with directory services makes it incredibly easy to manage user access for Wi-Fi, VPN, and servers from a single place, which has significantly reduced administrative overhead.

From a workflow perspective, it saves us a lot of time—especially when onboarding or offboarding users. Instead of touching multiple systems, we can make changes once and have them propagate automatically. The RADIUS integration for WPA2-Enterprise has been especially valuable, giving us stronger security while still being easy to manage.

Another unexpected benefit has been the reliability and visibility it provides. Troubleshooting authentication issues is much faster because of the clear logging and centralized control. Overall, it’s been a solid improvement to both our security posture and day-to-day efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

One downside of Foxpass is that some aspects of the UI and configuration can feel a bit limited or unintuitive, especially when troubleshooting more complex authentication issues. While the core functionality is strong, navigating logs and pinpointing root causes can sometimes take longer than expected.

In terms of integrations, while it works well with standard directory services, there’s room for improvement in flexibility and depth—particularly when trying to align it with more advanced or customized environments. Expanding integration options or providing more granular controls would make it even more powerful.

Performance has generally been reliable, but occasional delays in authentication or policy updates can impact the user experience, especially in environments that rely heavily on real-time access (like Wi-Fi or VPN).

Finally, onboarding and documentation could be improved. While the platform is relatively straightforward, having more detailed guides or real-world configuration examples would help reduce setup time and make troubleshooting easier.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Foxpass, managing authentication across Wi-Fi, VPN, and internal systems was more manual and fragmented. We had to rely on multiple tools and processes to provision and deprovision access, which increased the risk of inconsistencies and delayed response times—especially during onboarding and offboarding.

With Foxpass, we’ve centralized authentication using our directory service, allowing us to manage access from a single source of truth. This has streamlined user provisioning and significantly reduced the time it takes to grant or revoke access. What used to take multiple steps across different systems can now be handled in one place, saving us several hours each week in administrative effort.

It has also strengthened our security posture by enforcing consistent authentication policies (such as WPA2-Enterprise for Wi-Fi and secure RADIUS-based access), reducing the likelihood of unauthorized access. Additionally, troubleshooting is faster due to centralized logging, which helps us quickly identify and resolve authentication issues.

Overall, Foxpass has improved both operational efficiency and security, while reducing manual workload and the potential for human error.

  ### 2. Foxpass Engineering Support with Multi-Device Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee D. | Senior Systems Analyst, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

We support a wide range of devices and operating systems, which required multiple configuration approaches—this was not a one-size-fits-all setup. Foxpass provided a free trial along with direct access to their engineering team, who worked closely with us to ensure everything was properly configured and functioning across all of our environments. We have been live for about 3 months now and have had a few issues come up, but their support staff has been fairly quick to reply and address the issues.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

One limitation we’ve encountered is with MAC authentication management. While the feature itself works well, the MAC Entries page only allows sorting by labels (e.g., phones, tablets, printers) and does not support assigning aliases or friendly names. Once entries are added, they cannot be renamed, which makes it difficult to identify and search for specific devices.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementing a company-wide RADIUS solution has significantly strengthened our network security posture. We no longer rely on shared passwords that can be exposed or reused, and access is now limited strictly to authorized users and devices. This has given us much better control and visibility over what is allowed on the network and has reduced the risk of unauthorized access.

  ### 3. Easy-to-Use Interface with Great Support and Clear Documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason C. | Director of Technology and Innovation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The interface is easy to use and understand, and the support team has been great to work with throughout implementation. They made the setup and deployment process very straightforward. The documentation is also very good and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Whenever certificates are involved, things get complicated quickly. When a CA certificate was renewed, it became difficult to get all deployments updated correctly and consistently.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Foxpass has helped us solve the complicated issue of securely connecting Chromebooks to Wi‑Fi using SCEP and 802.1X EAP‑TLS. Before Foxpass, we relied on a simple shared-secret method, which was quickly bypassed once students and staff learned the password. As a result, we ended up with many unauthorized devices on our Wi‑Fi. Foxpass eliminated this issue by using certificates that can’t be obtained by any means other than being pushed from our management system.

  ### 4. Foxpass for the win

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** llopez@kuehnecompany.com L. | CyberSecurity Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

We currently use Foxpass as our 802.1x solution because we don’t have an on-prem server environment. The setup was very straightforward, and the documentation backs that up. Integration has also been easy, which is a big plus since we’re a Microsoft shop. I haven’t needed to contact support for any issues so far, and that’s another positive for me.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

At the moment, I don’t have any dislikes about Foxpass; it’s doing exactly what it’s intended to do.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don’t have an Active Directory environment, so a RADIUS server isn’t required for our Wi‑Fi deployment. Foxpass offered a cloud-based solution that was a no-brainer for us, and it integrates smoothly with what we already have in place.

  ### 5. Effortless Setup, Robust Authentication Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared S. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I really appreciate the ease of use with Foxpass by Splashtop. We managed to convert our system over from our previous vendor to Foxpass in just a couple of days, and updated all 4 of our enterprise sites very quickly. I like that it offers user-based authentication instead of machine-based, so we can quickly lock users out if needed. The interface is easy to understand, and the documentation is clear, which made setting up our account and configuration quick and efficient. I also like the redundancy built into the system; it gives us peace of mind that everything will work well.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I have no complaints

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Foxpass by Splashtop for secure Radius and LDAP authentication. It's easy to use, allows quick user lockout for security, and has efficient setup and documentation. We transitioned from our previous setup in days.

I really like the ease of use and reliability of Foxpass by Splashtop. In all the time we've been using it, over 4 years, we've never noticed any downtime. Having a reliable system for our RADIUS authentication is crucial, especially because our wireless network availability is a huge part of our productivity and user experience. The reliability gives us the confidence to trust our network. It's also great that it integrates into Okta and our RADIUS controller.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Probably the GUI feels a bit dated; but we rarely need to use it, so this is not a big deal

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Foxpass by Splashtop for RADIUS authentication, allowing us to scale rapidly without running our own infrastructure. It provides ease of use, reliability, and constant availability, which boosts our productivity and confidence in our wireless network.

  ### 7. Efficient Access Management, but Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I like using the API and temporary access feature to manage hostgroups with Foxpass by Splashtop. The initial setup was very easy, which made the experience smooth right from the beginning. We configure our VMs to have no access by default, and we appreciate being able to use an in-house script to enable access through the system.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The UI was sometimes confusing even when using the tool for a long time. Group synchronization also occasionally had hiccups.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Foxpass by Splashtop to centrally manage user permissions and control VM access effectively. The API and temporary access feature allow refined user management, ensuring VMs have no default access, enhancing security with an internal script.

  ### 8. Best Cloud RADIUS Solution: Easy Setup, Strong Security, Zero Maintenance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The standout for me is the fully managed cloud RADIUS with passwordless, certificate-based authentication (EAP-TLS). It removes the need for shared Wi‑Fi passwords and avoids the ongoing hassle of running local RADIUS servers—no hardware to manage, no complicated setup, and the ability to revoke access immediately for offboarded users or compromised devices. I also appreciate the zero-trust approach, which continuously validates identity and device trust on every connection, giving real peace of mind for our corporate Wi‑Fi and VPN access. Setup only took minutes thanks to smooth integration with Entra ID and our MDM, and the 99.9%+ uptime with global redundancy has made it feel consistently reliable.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I don’t have many real dislikes—overall, it just works really well and does what I need.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Foxpass by Splashtop solves the big headaches of managing shared Wi-Fi passwords and maintaining on-prem RADIUS servers that are hard to scale and secure. It eliminates shared credentials entirely by enabling passwordless, certificate-based authentication (EAP-TLS) with zero-trust enforcement—only verified users and enrolled devices get access, with instant revocation when someone leaves.

  ### 9. Easy Setup and Deployment

During implementation, we encountered one issue that required customer support. Their response was prompt, and the guidance provided resolved the problem efficiently, allowing us to complete the setup without delay.

Integration & Use
Foxpass integrates seamlessly with our internal Active Directory, enabling Single Sign-On for our users. Once configured, the service has been running continuously and transparently in the background, providing secure authentication without disruptions. End-user device setup was minimal—Windows PCs, Android, and iPhone clients required only a one-time configuration. After that, users have not needed to make further adjustments, which has significantly reduced support requests.

User Experience
The authentication process has been smooth for employees across the organization. The only minor inconvenience is with Apple iPhones, which require a configuration profile to be uploaded. While not a major obstacle, it adds a small extra step compared to other platforms.

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Forest BNI, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

A live video tech support call with Foxpass.

We had a major config problem with our Snom phone setup and using LDAP as a central directory.

Travis got on a personal call with us, Google Hangouts and we even called our VOIP tech support people at the same time on another phone and has a 3 way conversation including sniffing network packets and lots of things which made no sense to me.

We managed to work out that our SNOM phones were using an insecure version of TLS to do their LDAP lookups.

There is no way I would have been able to detect what the issue was myself - Travis and Foxpass were absolute experts.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

nothing! I was so impressed with their support that if anyone needs LDAP, don't go anywhere else!

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed by:** Ken K. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

So easy. So little effort required. At previous companies I've wanted to perform acts of violence against AD servers for all the time (money), energy, and hair-pulling frustration they've induced. Using FoxPass has induced the opposite of those emotions.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Sometimes the setting up LDAP binders has been a bit fidgety. But I mostly blame LDAP for that, not FoxPass.

**Recommendations to others considering Foxpass by Splashtop:**

I wholeheartedly recommend Foxpass. If you are maintaining your own LDAP or AD server, you are probably wasting a ton of your IT staff's time that would be better served on other projects.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LDAP in the cloud. I don't need to run an LDAP or AD server myself. Substantially reduced effort/cost from IT personnel.

**Official Response from Christine Simko:**

> Thank you for the hilarious / awesome review!!

  ### 29. Foxpass is a great Auth Server! Best one we've come across so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The fact that it integrates with G Suite, formerly Google Apps is the feature we tend to use and like most about it. We use G Suite as our main SSO and we’ve been happy ever since we signed up for Foxpass.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Only thing I think could be a bit better is the fact that it took a little bit for us to get the hang of using it, so I think the user friendliness could be improved a little but nothing that will get us to back away from the product.

**Recommendations to others considering Foxpass by Splashtop:**

FoxPass is very feature rich and there is a lot to do within the system itself. If you are looking for a SSO provider, FoxPass is definitely a good service to be using.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seems much easier for us to manage users than some of the older services we have used in the past. Also takes away the need to have physical servers on-site.

  ### 30. IT Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd P. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Working with the Foxpass team on initial setup was a great experience. Once we had Foxpass in place, it's been one of the few systems that really are "set it and forget it".

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

As with any newer products or services, there are challenges that arise that can be unexpected. That being said, Aren and the Foxpass team have been extremely efficient with resolving any issues that we've encountered.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we previously hosted our own instance of LDAP, not having to manage and administrate our own hardware/software has been beneficial to myself as this is a big piece of IT administration that can take up more time than most realize.

  ### 31. Very good and Simple to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steiner A. | Sr IT Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I like the integration with another auth systems such as Okta for doing Delegated Authentication. Also we can rely all our auth to foxpass including SSH Keys, Radius, LDAP.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I would like to have better log filters

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are doing double delAuth for Wifi Radius authentication, our APs send the Radius request to Foxpass which send it to our Okta then to our LDAP. We will include soon more services to rely on foxpass auth mechanism

  ### 32. LDAP as a service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian A. | Head of Internal IT, Americas, Music, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I like that they truly provide an end to end solution for LDAP, radius, and a few other related services. We have been able to integrate them into both our core identity stack as well as integrating it into our network authentication as well.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

There is very little to dislike since they have been very turnkey for us and added features when we've asked. If I have to pick one it's downtime, but to be fair there has been very little of it but it's the only thing I can nitpick about

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving for having an integrated identity stack that fits in well with our other SaaS and on-prem identity products.

  ### 33. Makes me feel better about our security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth S. | Devops Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Foxpass makes me feel better about our security. I like the self-service features that translate into less work for me. Great integration with AWS. Support has been great too.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

There's nothing I really dislike. Maybe the web UI could be better.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more sharing ssh keys, centralized user management.

  ### 34. Pretty good service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Support is pretty amazing. We've been using it for 802.1x auth for wireless and just started to use that and MAC address authentication for port security. Pretty smooth!

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I've only administrated it for the past 3 months and so far I haven't had any dislikes.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security is pretty important here at our company. We needed a solution for our users to be able to individually authenticate to our wifi network. Foxpass provided that solution.

  ### 35. Best Value for Hosted LDAP and RADIUS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Their support is second to none. I wish other SaaS companies are as responsive and helpful as they are. When you have an issue with IT infrastructure, you don't want to wait around while your employees lose productivity. We've had their CEO reach out to us directly when there were issues. Also they have great documentation that explains how to integrate Foxpass into your infrastructure which helps a ton.

Also, you can't beat the value for what Foxpass offers. Their competitor, JumpCloud, is already 2x more expensive per seat. If you want to run your own servers, be prepared to spend a considerable amount of your personnel's time making sure everything is running smoothly, up-to-date, and secure. As a startup, we can basically get enterprise level IT infrastructure for fraction of the cost.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

It's pretty obvious they don't have a professional UI/UX designer. Their UI and UX flow feels a little bit clunky and unpolished but is straightforward enough to not to get lost in the interface. Their RADIUS authentication is lightning fast but listing LDAP resources feels a bit slow.

**Recommendations to others considering Foxpass by Splashtop:**

If you're looking to sync Google Apps for Business, users will need to either disable 2FA or set up App Passwords to correctly authenticate with LDAP or RADIUS on Foxpass.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're a startup company and don't have a dedicated IT department that can run and maintain LDAP and RADIUS servers full-time. Foxpass allows us to bring enterprise level IT infrastructure for fraction of the cost to run our own services with a full-time personnel.

  ### 36. Excellent Product and Support!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Foxpass has greatly simplified our user management, and is quite easy to get setup on our hosts. We ran into some troubles early on, but their support team was extremely helpful!

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The lack of audit logging available to ship logs where we need them. (We have heard it is coming shortly, though)

**Recommendations to others considering Foxpass by Splashtop:**

Read up a bit on LDAP, if you've never really used it. It's pretty easy, but if you've never directly used it, it might be confusing in a few ways.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Management of many users across many hosts. We were previously doing it "by hand", and this obviously was not working well for us. We now have it centralized and can save time, and improve our security at the same time.

  ### 37. Foxpass is a critical piece of our IT Infrastructure

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Foxpass is rock solid, easy to use, has excellent support, and is a critical piece of our infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

There isn't much I dislike. If i have a problem, I reach out for support and get help instantly. I am confident in building more services on top of Foxpass.

**Recommendations to others considering Foxpass by Splashtop:**

One key aspect of Foxpass is how incredible their support is. If you run into a problem, you are going to get someone dedicated to helping you, which often involves them writing new software. They care deeply about their user experience.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Foxpass to create a link between Google domain and identity in other services. The most valuable piece for us is integrating Google-based identity with products that support LDAP or other identity technologies. It lets us leverage our Google domain as a single source of truth for identity. For example, our internal Wiki 's login system is backed by Foxpass, allowing automatic login for new users without having to create new accounts.

  ### 38. Hosted LDAP That Doesn't Suck

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Software Engineer Team Lead, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

We've been using Foxpass for over a year now to provide integration between our GSuite and VPN solution. Foxpass made it incredibly simple to enable our small team to move forward with a secure solution. The developers there are friendly, quick to respond, and were willing to go the extra mile to help get us up and running.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

At the time we setup the integration they only offered Duo support for Two Factor Authentication, while it works great, it is a little pricey!

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Exposing our GSuite user groups as LDAP groups for authentication into our VPN. Without an IT solution or a robust operations solution we were able to get up and going in a day.

  ### 39. Excellent Hosted RADIUS Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Foxpass allowed us to set up our network quickly by having a hosted RADIUS server through their platform. We were able to get online within a few minutes. The price is great consider the easy to use UI as well as Foxpass handling all the maintenance.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Not much to dislike on this product but I wish there was an easier way to set up Meraki Client VPN without hosting it in our own infrastructure. I know this is more on the Meraki's configuration and set up.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Foxpass allowed us to implement WPA2 Enterprise in our organization. Foxpass also allowed us to use VPN through their service. This enhance our security compliance within the organization.

  ### 40. The very best LDAP/RADUIS solution out there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaac B. | Director Of Operations, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The different directory integrations offered by Foxpass is what makes this an invaluable tool to link G Suite or Okta with your internal tools using LDAP or RADIUS to have a truly SSO experience.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I've been using Foxpass at two different companies and I haven't found any dislikes yet.

**Recommendations to others considering Foxpass by Splashtop:**

Using this with an IDP such as Okta will allow you to use automated workflows. Also, check out "sudo" functionality in LDAP posix users, no more editing the shudder's file on a linux system!

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized user management is a golden ticket to minimize risk at any organization and Foxpass is the key element to glue different systems together in a coherent way.

  ### 41. Systems Administrator

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua G. | Systems Administrator, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Ease of integration, use, and deployment. I'm able to add server authentication and bindto/onboard new services in a flash, while securing my wifi environment.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

There has been little to no caveats with Foxpass. I was one of the early adopters and we've only ever had small, quick servicing issues and it was very early on (3 years ago). These issues were rare, and no longer populate. I have no nothing but appreciation for their level of service.

**Recommendations to others considering Foxpass by Splashtop:**

Do it, they are fantastic, and you can be up and running in a day if you wish.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're all Cloud here at LendUp and having servers on site is not in our best interest for many reasons. Foxpass allows us to operate in the manner we wish to, with security.

  ### 42. A simple solution to a common problem

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron V. | Engineer, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The clean and simple interface. The easy integration with AWS and various open-source tools.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

There is not much I dislike about Foxpass.. the interface is mercifully clean and seems to be designed with administrators in mind. If anything, I would like Foxpass to expand it's offering to support SSO for various 3rd party sites without having to use another service like Okta (although that is really a different service than what Foxpass is aiming for).

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Foxpass as an authentication for various services such as VPN and Hashicorp Vault. This allows developers to get the access they need in a fully self-service way without having to wait on the devops team.

  ### 43. FoxPass is a great tool.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hunter V. | Network Administrator, Telecommunications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

FoxPass is an easy to use access control tool to keep your organization's accounts in check. I really like that it integrates with our Office365 as our primary directory service. That way we don't have to set up entirely new accounts just to configure access for things we already have. The LDAP interface is incredibly useful as well since it integrates with both our Linux Samba server and OpenVPN configuration. The 30 day trial is a great way to see if it works for your business needs.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Lately we have been having issues with stability, it seems as though recently the service has not been as reliable as it previously was. I definitely believe this is just an issue with a current patch or host issue and nothing that should reflect the overall product.

**Recommendations to others considering Foxpass by Splashtop:**

You may need to set aside time to talk with support to get all of the tiny mishaps ironed out. In general, though, it is an easy product to set up.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At our business, we have a LOT of accounts set up to access different controls throughout our infrastructure. Foxpass makes it easy for us to go from service to service and access our control systems with a few clicks with increased security, instead of relying on all users manually accessing systems. We have also seen a large decrease in phishing and other private information being stolen. I believe this is due to using a secure system.

  ### 44. Excellent products for startups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The product was easy to deploy and replaced us having any hardware on premise.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Not knowing about the product soon enough...I did not have any dislikes. It worked as promised and solved the internal issues that we needed for having a hosted RADIUS and LDAP server.

**Recommendations to others considering Foxpass by Splashtop:**

Try Foxpass on a single application where you need a hosted LDAP or RADIUS server while keeping your other applications on your premise server. See how easy it is to use and then move the others over gradually. If you're a startup then start with Foxpass from the beginning.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to have an LDAP Server and RADIUS server for two other products that were required. Foxpass allowed us to have those features hosted without us having to purchase a server or rent space on a collocation. My IT team was able to do this fairly quickly with the Foxpass support team of Aren and his group. We were very happy with the ease of setup.

  ### 45. Foxpass has been a great no-nonsense solution to a very hard problem.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd P. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The ease of use to setup and maintain. Aren and his team are absolutely on top of issues when they occur.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

As with all 3rd party applications, losing the ability to have 100% control can be frustrating to certain administrators.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the ever painful issue of hosting our own LDAP solution. The benefits of having Foxpass in the cloud has saved us time and energy.

  ### 46. Professional tool for handling authentications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Foxpass allows us to be in full control of user management on multiple different platforms. It is easy and powerful.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I would like to see even smoother enrollments of new vms to foxpass. Ldap service not supported by all old equipment

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

delegating access to services, key managments

  ### 47. Foxpass, the answer to all those little service questions all your saas products can't deliver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron Z. | Director of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The Foxpass team have made a Software Service as a Service. Bridging the gap between all the modern saas directories and things like LDAP, Radius etc. Foxpass makes it easy to deploy things like 802.1x, LDAPaaS etc

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The service is great, but understanding the nuances of some of the connections can be frustrating when legacy based services don't want to connect to SaaS based services.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our first major project was rolling out 802.1x to all of our locations across self managed and third party managed networks (like wework)

  ### 48. I've wanted this product for years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve A. | DevOps Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Foxpass is the easiest way to manage user auth(n/z) on my AWS instances.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

Adding users is a bit of a pain, each user has to sign up, then I can enable their account (as an engineering or posix user), then they can upload their ssh key. It's much more interactive than I'd like.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Foxpass hugely reduces user de/provisioning complexity.

  ### 49. LDAP as a service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael C. | Senior Web Operations Engineer, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

We don't have to manage LDAP - no schema management, etc.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

The flip side of any hosted solution is the limits of what you can do. Not really a dislike, just a trade off constraint of it being a hosted service.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Login management for LDAP enabled login applications in our internal infrastructure.

  ### 50. Quick and Effective

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

I love how easy this was to set up and make adjustments. The logs are easy to read and have helped me to identify root causes quickly.

**What do you dislike about Foxpass by Splashtop?**

We have had a few outages prevent everyone in the company from accessing the internet, however, their status page updates informed me of the issue quickly and had details that I could pass on to anyone experiencing an issue.

**What problems is Foxpass by Splashtop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have connected Foxpass to our company directory and a Single Sign-on and it makes handing out access easy and secure.
