SecureW2 was able to handle every scenario we had, from simple multi-platform BYOD onboarding of devices to the Wi-Fi, where the process is tailored per operating system, all the way through to being able to integrate multiple JamF Pro instances, and other MDM platforms. The support team were fantastic to work with from day 1, they guided us through the whole process of configuring all of our complex network based policies, and making sure that everything worked for our needs. Being that it is an end to end solution handling both PKI, Policies and Radius, it has provided excellent value for money, compared to having to stitch together our own solution and having to host it, as well as not having to rely so much on internal expertise within our team. The UI is clean and easy to navigate and I've appreciated the level of detail in the logs, makes life easier when troubleshooting! **What do you dislike about SecureW2 JoinNow?** I think it might be purely just the nature of hosting a RADIUS server using a cloud service, but their is more latency with time to connect versus having this with an on-prem product. Having said that, the trade off is still worth it for us, with not having to manage the infrastructure to run this, and provides a much simpler and more scalable platform. I know they've just announced an on prem node you can deploy that sync seamlessly into the ecosystem, so I guess that might solve the RADIUS latency. This means that we get to see the ease of use this product provides for our faculty, staff, and students. For our faculty and staff it allows for a touch-less and seamless connection experience to our network. This means more uptime in working hours and less downtime in working hours because of pesky personnel issues or user layer issues. Juggling passwords and certificates is a thing of the past with this SecureW2. For our students - this allows us to provide a simplified process for adding multiple device types to our network and authenticating them all. If we have trouble devices or trouble students we can monitor and track all of it. The ease of use means less issues to resolve and less support tickets to troubleshoot. All of which means less personnel to staff. It integrates easily with with Microsoft Intune and uses SCEP to automatically enroll and deploy certificates to all our managed Window and MacOS devices, it is literally set it and forget it. We did a 30-day proof-of-concept, and their onboarding team assisted with configuring the PKI and Radius policies, creating and assigning all the Intune profiles and in under 2 hours we had a fully working environment with devices authenticating over 802.1x via certificates. I am by no means a PKI expert but with SecureW2's support, I was able to build out an automated deployment strategy for EAP-TLS certificates that is compatible with our entire fleet of macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and even Linux. Their product has saved us so much time and effort in trying to build this our ourselves, and their support continues to be responsive for any questions or requests that we have. **What do you dislike about SecureW2 JoinNow?** Because I am not a PKI expert, some of the deployment is very inintuitive, but I don't think thats the fault of SecureW2, but rather just the reality of how managing certificate deployments in an enterprise environment. **What problems is SecureW2 JoinNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** When I joined my team, we were still using WPA2 Personal with PSK for our office networks, and we were in the midst of maturing as a company. With SecureW2, we've developed an automated Certificate deployment strategy in which staff computers are onboarded automatically to use our office wifi, and they authenticate using EAP-TLS in which every device has a unique certificate that only their device can use. Additionally, these certificates authenticate as the user's primary identity, so when looking at logging or diagnostic data on the network itself, I can see which employee username is associated to the connected devices, instead of relying on hostnames or known mac addresses. This has secured our wifi deployments across all offices, made it easier for employees to connect to our networks, and greatly limited our risks around the networking in our offices. ### 39. Over the time we used SecureW2 we did not have a single incident or service disruption. The support is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and was a great help in setting up the service initially. **What do you dislike about SecureW2 JoinNow?** The admin portal seems a bit dated and not very easy to use. The initial setup is quite tricky and hard to debug if you don't have some experience in the field. Fortunately, the support from SecureW2 is very good here. I would not recommend the initial setup without contacting their support. **What problems is SecureW2 JoinNow solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use SecureW2 solely as a radius server for authentication to our internal office network. SecureW2 acts as a certificate authority that hands out certificates to our employee's devices so they can authenticate towards our network via WPA-Enterprise. We do not use any self-service features, but only use MDM and SCEP to enroll every employee device. This works very well for us and is completely transparent to the employee, we never actually needed a self-service option, and none of our employees even realize that SecureW2 exists. ### 44.
