What do you like best about Dockwa?

The software helped grow our transient boating revenue and streamline the process. The team at Dockwa is very attentive to putting out the best product and always evolving the software and adding new components to it. What problems is Dockwa solving and how is that benefiting you?

The old transient reservation process was super manual and cumbersome, made much more efficient with Dockwa. By requiring all reservations to be made online it created one simple easy queue for all our reservations. This was compared to the manual process of someone different fielding a phone each time and how that would be interpreted. Being able to see all the reservations in one place also allowed us to maximize the number of reservations we were taking without overbooking.

The assignments tool became a key addition for us as we map out the seasonal and transient reservations.

Taking on all our seasonal winter storage and dockage contracts was the latest evolution for us and was extremely successful. The contracts tool streamlined a very confusing and time-consuming mail merge process and provided a better experience for the customer. By allowing both online payments or the more traditional form gives our customers payment options and reconciles easily for our accounting team. "Dockwa was transformative to our operations."

What do you like best about Dockwa?

We are a small community run seasonal marina. Dockwa gives us the ability to attract and process reservations year round, even when our office is really closed. We also love the seamless processing of payments and flexible reporting. Since we started with Dockwa about 6 years ago, we have been able to reach a much broader market. Our biggest problem now is not having enough slips to rent! I should also mention that the Dockwa team is super responsive to requests for assistance. Some of our dock masters are not very tech savvy but they were always able to get help with just a phone call or e-mail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dockwa?

Some of the reports have too many fields, it would be nice to be able to opt out of certain fields to make the reports easier to work with. My only other gripe with Dockwa is that setting rates requires us to submit a rate sheet to their staff who then have to input the data rather than giving us the ability to edit the rates ourselves. What problems is Dockwa solving and how is that benefiting you?

We work with a very small seasonal staff but with Dockwa our "office" is always open. It has reduced the burden of responding to a multitude of voice and e-mails and avoid angry clients complaining that we take too long to respond. What do you like best about Dockwa?

Since the very first interaction with a call from Tripp and Matt, Dockwa and all it's staff has been nothing short of an absolute pleasure to work with. I can't even begin to explain how helpful their tech guys have been, and how over the top they've been in excellent customer service. It has made our transient business so popular that we went from having 50 percent capacity filled to a long waiting list for weeks on end for avail slips. Based on working with this team over the last 8 or so years both in the role of Marina Manager and my current position as the ED of the MMTA, i would hghly recommend Dockwa to both boaters and marinas. The team has expanded and grown over the years based on their experience, industry knowledge and hard work to make a very successful product that was overdue for the industry. Reservations will automatically expire after 48 hours of a request. This should be made to a minimum of a week in the offseason. We all are not in warm climates all year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For boaters using Dockwa, it seems great. For a marina using dockwa, we would like to feel more that Dockwa is concerned about our interests as much as the boaters experience. It seems dockwa customer assistance really centers around the boater, and it sometimes feels that Dockwa does not work for the marinas from who they receive their commission.
