## About DocGenie
Stop chasing statements. DocGenie automatically retrieves bank, credit card, and financial statements from hundreds of institutions, organizes them into a standardized folder structure, and delivers them straight to Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Box, or Evernote. Built for bookkeepers, accounting firms, lawyers, multi-entity operators, and family offices who manage financial documents across dozens or hundreds of clients. Instead of logging into 5–30 portals per client, handling 2FA codes, and renaming files by hand, DocGenie does the pull on a schedule and files each statement where it belongs. What DocGenie handles for you: - Scheduled monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly retrieval across hundreds of banks, credit cards, and billers - 2FA and expired-login handling, including a Client Connection Link so clients can authenticate on their own without sharing credentials with your staff - Consistent file naming and folder structure across every client - Delivery to the cloud storage you already use — no new document silo to learn - A permanent archive of every statement retrieved, so you're never stuck when a bank has purged its own 12–24 month online history Why firms switch: - Bank feeds drop, and transaction feeds aren't statements — DocGenie gives you the actual PDFs you need to properly reconcile, file taxes, verify income, or support legal discovery - One standardized workflow across every client, instead of a dozen ad-hoc processes - Add clients without adding headcount for document collection - Works alongside QBO, Xero, Hubdoc, and Dext — it fills the retrieval gap they don't cover

## DocGenie Reviews
 ### 1. The Reliable, Professional Successor to FileThis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about DocGenie?**

After FileThis shut down, I was stuck looking for something that wouldn’t break every time a bank updated its website. DocGenie has been that rare "set it and forget it" tool for me. I use it to pull statements from Chase, Amex, Navy Federal, and M&T Bank, and I haven't run into a single disconnection loop yet. The interface is also a huge step up. It’s modern, intuitive, and much faster to navigate than the older tools I’ve used in the past. It’s just very quick to pick up.

**What do you dislike about DocGenie?**

The only real drawback is the pricing for individual users. It’s definitely a premium service, so the cost might feel a bit steep if you are only managing a couple of personal accounts. However, for a business or anyone handling a high volume of statements, the quality justifies the investment. The support is also a major plus, it’s fast and feels very personalized, which makes the price point easier to swallow.

**What problems is DocGenie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It basically cures "portal fatigue." I used to waste several hours every month logging into various sites and manually renaming PDFs, but now the automated cloud-sync handles all that heavy lifting in the background. It saves me about three or four hours every week and keeps my records audit-ready without any extra effort on my part. Knowing my data is safe even if a bank changes its portal gives me a lot of peace of mind. It’s turned my usual tax-season scramble into a complete non-event.
