The meeting made me feel anything but a guru. What is Dela? Why have I never heard about it? I am literally in the Ajera program all day every day, shouldn't I have run into Dela by now? I am clueless. Chat option? In my experience with chat bots, they are absolutely worthless. To me, they are just a waste of time until I have to reach a real person anyway. What's that you say? I can no longer call in to support? That blew my mind. What am I paying for? I thought part of my annual fee was to be able to call support as much as I wanted or needed to about anything Ajera related. Now I have to log in to the support center to log a case? Sorry, I don't use that much, I am unfamiliar with how to find that or create a case. I maybe have been there, but not enough to know these things off the top of my head. OBBBA changes, the discussion was clear as mud. So you think the employees can be responsible for determining their own overtime? They can't even manage to do that correctly now, and then you throw in a check box to confuse them even more. Then you try to mention it in the webinar but give no clear direction as to how it works. Does the previous method of defining OT remain the same? Are they one and the same and both will work? Then if I see that someone has done it wrong, which they will, I have to go into Timesheet instead of Time and Expense to edit it? You mean the screen where I can't even see one full time card on the screen? That is utterly depressing and frustrating. Clearly Ajera already has a way to mark time as OT, why add another method? In my experience, Ajera falls well short of BillQuick in terms of reporting options. While the available reports on my account are helpful for certain tasks, both my colleagues and I have frequently encountered situations where we needed a report to display particular information. However, when we attempted to use Ajera to generate these reports, we discovered that our options were quite limited and we couldn't access the reports we needed. Once you get comfortable with Ajera, it's a fantastic platform. I was brought on to my company to clean up Ajera, and I used to go project by project. And now I have made custom widgets for everything. I cannot sing the praises of the support staff enough! What do you dislike about Deltek Ajera? It took me quite some time to get used to the platform, but now I feel like a pro. I wish the client invoice review process was a bit easier for the PM approval. I wish some fields were in existance rather than needing to make a custom field. (For example, I made a custom field for Landlord/Parent Company, to list the main company, since the billing client is the direct billing entity of the franchisee or landlord. I've made custom fields for special admin review, AR follow up dates, extra notes, etc.) I understand the widgets is gen 2 and reports are gen 1, but there are some features I wish they had of the others'.
