## About DBConvert
DBConvert is a family of desktop tools for one-time database migration (DBConvert) and scheduled synchronization (DBSync) between MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, MS Access, FoxPro, Firebird, IBM DB2 and their cloud versions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL). Each tool is dedicated to a specific source/target pair - for example DBConvert for Access and MySQL - and converts schema, data, indexes and views with filtering, customization and scheduling. Built by SLOTIX s.r.o. since 2001, with 2,300+ customers over 25 years.

**What do you like best about DBConvert?**

The type mapping between different databases just works, even for the tricky cases like MySQL to PostgreSQL. Saves me from writing conversion scripts by hand, and the migrations run reliably on big tables.

**What do you dislike about DBConvert?**

The desktop UI feels a bit dated and takes a little getting used to — some options are buried in menus. Nothing that blocks the work, but a cleaner, more modern interface would make setup faster.

**What problems is DBConvert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to move data between different database engines — MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite — without hand-writing migration scripts each time. It handles the schema and type differences for us, so what used to take a day of careful SQL now runs in a few clicks. Saves real developer time and cuts the mistakes that come with manual conversions.
