# Which sales engagement platforms are most trusted by account executives, based on user reviews?

Hi G2! Digging into which sales engagement platforms are most trusted by account executives based on user reviews, and the picture looks quite different from what SDR-focused rankings tend to show. AEs care about different things: deal context at a glance, frictionless follow-up, CRM sync that doesn't break, and tools that don't slow them down mid-conversation.

Based on reviews from AEs specifically, these five come up most:

Salesloft: AE reviewers call out the cadence system and coaching features as genuine day-to-day tools, not just onboarding aids. Live engagement feed for tracking hot prospects is a specific feature that comes up. Is the deal-level visibility strong enough to replace a separate pipeline tool?

Outreach: The ability to see a full history of rep activity on an account, including activity from colleagues who've moved on, gets called out as uniquely useful for AEs managing complex accounts. Does the interface hold up once you're managing 40+ active accounts simultaneously?

Apollo.io: AE reviewers in SaaS and tech flag it as excellent for prospecting and outreach in one motion, though some note it's harder to scale for high-volume calling compared to dedicated dialers. How does it perform for AEs doing a mix of warm follow-up and cold expansion outreach?

HubSpot Sales Hub: Mid-market SaaS AEs specifically cite the Kanban pipeline view, sequencing, and the way activity history feeds directly into deal records as strong day-to-day features. Does the native CRM remove the need for a separate deal management tool in practice?

Close: Comes up most for AEs at smaller companies who want calling, emailing, and deal tracking without switching contexts. Power dialer and built-in SMS are regularly mentioned alongside the clean pipeline view.

Would really love to hear from AEs directly: which platform actually fits how you work, and what made the others fall short?

"Trusted" for an AE might mean something specific: the tool never acts on a deal without them. The classic breach is a sequence auto-firing a step after the prospect already replied on another channel; harmless in an SDR motion, embarrassing mid-deal. Would be interesting to hear whether that's ever actually cost someone momentum on a live deal.
