Restoration of VM's is very fast and can be managed within the GUI. There are multiple restoration points (depending on the quantity of backups you store) that can be used to restore a VM to a safe timestamp. The interface is quite clear and the deduplication works like a charm. Use also the copy backup to usb drive once a week. The recovery Points Retention has a top configuration. With 30 years of IT experience I've used a ton of backup products and some flavors just drive you nuts and other feel easy from day one. Nakivo just makes good sense. (note this is an interal use application by a partner) From a product standpoint the key features I wanted for snap shot backups, good performance and excellent reporting were all found and easy to setup on the product. **What do you dislike about NAKIVO Backup & Replication?** All bakcup products have some learning curve and testing activity that I always try to short cut but spending a little time on this task is just sensible and required. Installation was super easy and the GUI is very easy to understand. CBT works great for incrementral backups and the backups/restores are very fast and reliable. I've used the NFR-licens for about a year so I have tried many of it's functions. 2) Support I had some problems with Nakivo and vmfs6 and the support guys actually setup a conference call to help me solve it. **What do you dislike about NAKIVO Backup & Replication?** Nothing really. Setup took 5 minutes, and didn't give me DNS errors and authentication errors like VDP always has.
