Everything is good overall. I like the UI and the navigation, but I don’t like that all tags are lowercased. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s easy to use, and the dashboard is very good and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not store data in India; its data center is located outside India. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the 'single pane of glass' feature in Datadog, as it makes it easier to have insights into my app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI has a lot of information at once, making it a bit overwhelming. There's definitely a learning curve with the initial setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Datadog is very easy to use and provides a unified platform for monitoring, metrics, logs, and traces. I really like the Log Explorer, it’s powerful and flexible, especially when building complex queries to filter and analyze data. The Metric Explorer and APM features are excellent for tracking performance and identifying bottlenecks across different services. User management is straightforward, and setting up monitors is quick and reliable. Integration is also straightforward, in our case, we use it with Microsoft Teams and Azure without any issues. Their customer support has always been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve needed assistance. Overall, it’s a powerful and easy-to-use observability platform that provides deep visibility across systems and applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dashboards can feel limited at times, building more advanced or highly customized visualizations isn’t always straightforward.
Another drawback is the cost as Datadog can become extremely expensive if not managed carefully, especially when log volumes or monitored hosts grow quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like how detailed the log traces can be in Datadog, and how I can search for specific logs based on labels and facets. Setting up Datadog agents was also very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricing can become really expensive at scale, especially when log ingestion and custom metrics are not carefully managed. It would really be nice to be able to view a cost dashboard, as I don't think Datadog has that feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Datadog is pretty awesome, it's really powerful, we can add logs from our platforms, it tracks automatically the `console.errors` on the frontend, we can track the specific line when mappings are available, it allow us to track the CPU usage, it even can be connected to services like OpsGenie, or Slack or others, also it has support for IDEs which means we can open the error directly on our IDE, which is really awesome... but maybe the most important is that we can have a complete platform for control of our code/infra in one single place, as a FrontEnd developer, this help us also to track properly what the users see and replicate issues as closes as we can without bothering our customers. It's really expensive, sometimes configuring a dashboard or specific monitors is really hard as the platform is too big, which feels overwhelming, meaning we can't properly find some parts or things like that, also for example on the error login I think it should work the opposite when creating a query using the filters, as we should start with nothing selected, and then we can start filtering, so it's not hard to find what we want...
