As an end-user, I liked the similarities between CyberSaint (CyberStrong) and my CISSP exam. If you've taken the CISSP exam, CyberSaint will be right up your alley. The software seems to be made for business analysts who understand how much their assets are worth. I believe you would also need to be intimately familiar with your company's incident response plan and disaster recovery plan to be successful with the software. I also liked the charts and graphs for an at-a-glance view of the department's compliance with different HIPAA standards. I like that the software is already built to facilitate HIPAA compliance. I didn't like that CyberSaint was not for the laymen. It didn't seem all that user-friendly. The users completing their security risk analyses weren't familiar with likelihood versus impact. I would have preferred something similar to software like TurboTax where you are walked through each question with a simple yes-no, asked for an attachment, and then moved to the next question.I do not believe that our IT staff were fans of the software, as they made sure to highlight what was required and what wasn't to complete a security risk assessment. It seems like CyberSaint offers more features than necessary to complete an assessment. It would be nice if you could pick and choose what elements you want to include in your assessment.
