## About Credyt
Credyt is real-time billing infrastructure built for AI products that charge as usage happens, not at the end of the month. It's usage-based billing and usage-based pricing for AI, with real-time authorization at the core so you can stop infrastructure costs before they hit. When Credyt fits best: You need real-time authorization (not just metering) to prevent negative balances before infrastructure costs are incurred. Your customers expect prepaid credit systems similar to major AI platforms. Cash flow control matters more than invoice flexibility. You want to extend your existing infrastructure, not replace it. You need to ship AI billing in days, not months. What you get out of the box: - Real-time usage metering and wallet debiting. Charge per token, API call, inference, or any custom unit. Authorize before the cost hits. - Drop-in branded billing portal. OpenAI-style customer experience with live usage tracking, balance visibility, and self-service top-ups. - Auto top-up with customer control. Users set their own threshold triggers for automatic recharge. - Profitability analytics. Event-level cost tracking that correlates revenue with infrastructure costs per customer, model, or workload. - Flexible pricing engine. Usage-based, outcome-based, hybrid (subscriptions plus credits), tiered, volume, and multi-dimensional pricing. - Payment processing. Built-in Stripe integration with support for external payment processors. - Fast implementation. Ship in hours instead of months. Extends your existing stack rather than replacing it. MCP server and platform integrations: Credyt ships an MCP server at mcp.credyt.ai that any MCP-compatible AI tool can connect to. Builders add billing through a prompt conversation inside the tool they already use, with no backend code and no billing expertise required. Supported integrations: - AI coding tools. Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Codex, Replit, V0. - AI app builders. Lovable, Bolt.new (dedicated tutorials at /integrations/lovable and /integrations/bolt). - Workflow automation. N8n and any other platform that supports the MCP protocol. Any AI tool that speaks MCP can connect to Credyt the same way.

## Credyt Reviews
 ### 1. MCP Integration Streamlines Billing and Cost Tracking in Any Vibecoding tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Credyt?**

The MCP integration is a game-changer for vibe-coders. Instead of switching between platforms, I do everything directly through chat - from setup to billing configuration. I integrated Credyt into projects on both Lovable and Replit, and each took roughly 10 minutes from start to finish. The ability to manage billing and cost tracking entirely through the chat interface, without ever needing to log into the Credyt platform itself, has streamlined my workflow significantly. It removes friction at every step, which is exactly what you want when you're building fast

**What do you dislike about Credyt?**

When I do need to use the platform directly rather than through the chat interface, the UI feels too dark for my taste. A lighter theme option or a toggle between dark and light modes would make longer sessions on the platform much more comfortable

**What problems is Credyt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was trying to set up usage-based billing directly through Stripe, but even after their February update it was still frustrating and I couldn't get it to work properly. I stumbled upon Credyt almost by accident, and within one hour I had the entire billing flow configured and running. What previously felt like an unsolvable integration headache turned into a straightforward setup process — saving me days of debugging Stripe's metering API.

 ### 2. Credyt Makes Prepaid GPU Billing Effortless with a Drop-In Portal

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Credyt?**

We run an AI-assisted VFX pipeline for film clients (rotoscoping, denoising, upscaling, generative shot tools), and every job has real GPU and inference cost. Credyt sits in front of those tools as a credit wallet, so clients prepay and Credyt authorizes the balance in real time before the job runs. We never start an expensive render against an empty wallet.

The drop-in customer portal saved us from building balance, top-up, and auto-recharge UI ourselves. Grants let us hand out free credits to new studios without writing custom logic. Stripe integration works out of the box with no markup on fees, and the $1 per Monthly Active Wallet pricing is honest. No percentage cut on our revenue, which matters at our margins.

**What do you dislike about Credyt?**

The analytics dashboard is still maturing. We can see balances and authorizations fine, but we wanted deeper per-client cost breakdowns by job type (rotoscoping vs upscaling vs render) and had to pull the data out via API and build our own view in Metabase. Not a blocker, but it would save us time.

**What problems is Credyt solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Two problems. First, real-time cost control on AI and GPU jobs. We struggled with margin leakage when clients ran heavy rotoscoping or upscaling jobs against unlimited usage flags. Now Credyt authorizes the wallet balance before each job runs, so we never start an expensive render we cannot bill for. Cost overruns dropped to near zero.

Second, building credit billing in-house. We estimated several months of engineering for wallets, grants, top-up flows, and the customer portal. With Credyt we shipped client-facing credits in about two weeks and redirected our engineers back to the actual VFX pipeline. The drop-in portal handled balance, auto-recharge, and invoicing without us writing UI.

On ROI: $1 per Monthly Active Wallet is predictable, and Credyt does not take a percentage of revenue, so our margins stay intact as we scale to more film clients.
