# Which I-9 compliance tool works best for HR teams managing remote, multi-state hiring?

Remote Section 2 verification would be the workflow I’d pressure-test hardest. Supporting remote document upload is only part of the process; I’d want to see exactly how the platform handles the authorized representative or permitted remote examination workflow, tracks deadlines, and preserves the required audit trail. That’s where a tool either removes complexity for a distributed HR team or simply digitizes it.
