I’m not a tech person so this was an important feature for me. Coassemble checked all the boxes and continues to exceed my expectations along the way. I love how easy it is to embed links, upload photos, create dynamic interactions, and integrate learning tools and videos. My course is long and multi-layered but Coassemble has turned what I was dreading into an enjoyable, seamless process. Beyond the platform their customer support has been great! They've answered every question I’ve asked within 24 hours or less. I am nothing less than extremely impressed. **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** The biggest challenge I’ve encountered with Coassemble is the lack of a “back” button. There’s no quick way to undo changes, so anything I try out has to be manually erased and re-entered. I also wish there waw a “drip” feature to gradually release content over time. However, the new collections feature has been working well for organizing the material instead. I also tested the AI course creation tool by uploading a 35-page document, but it seemed to overload the system and wasn’t as comprehensive as I’d hoped. That said, building my course manually has been incredibly easy, fun, and intuitive. Despite these minor challenges, I’m absolutely loving this platform! **What problems is Coassemble solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am a solopreneur and holistic nutritionist. Creating beautiful, educational material for my clients to learn from while being able to download documents and have different interactive learning options is critical for my business. Coassemble has allowed me, as a solo business owner to have access to a high quality learning platform without it costing me a ton of money as I build my business. This is allowing my business to look more professional and my clients to have material they can easily access and engage with between session, helping them stay on task. They want it to be interactive yet accessible for students. ### 4. You get a lot of screen variations that are animated and easy on the eye for the learners. If you're a small company producing items like employee onboardings this is a great fit. Their support is great in that they respond and resolve all of the bugs in a timely manner. **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** If you're a large company deploying courses, training modules and any form of professional CPD, you are probably going to struggle. The platform seriously lacks features and capabilities to support a company with a lot of staff (3000 in our case) which are divided into departments with different responsibilities, line managers etc. Glaring issues that reflect this point are: APIs have serious rate limiting so any automations you are performing for your large set of users can take a very long time to process. Their reporting is very slow due to the size of the dataset and often you will find yourself exporting to excel just to run reports yourself which negates the purpose. Permissions for trainers are very limited. If you have a mixture of users who need company-wide access but also some who you only want to access certain things, you're going to struggle. You are effectively stuck to their 5 built-in roles. For example I have to give our HR staff access to see every user in the company instead of just those working at a specific site. No real way for your users to browse courses and choose the ones they want to complete, without being enrolled in them. Coassemble offer a "Catalog" view for courses but you as an admin have to add courses into it, and these courses can only be accessed from an external link, not from inside the platform itself. **What problems is Coassemble solving and how is that benefiting you?** Coassemble helps us deploy training, policies and staff CPD. It lets our HR team report on who has and hasnt done their mandatory training as well as offering extended CPD to staff which they choose themselves. ### 5. As a company that's rapidly growing we've needed to get more admins involved in content creation and curation. Coassemble makes it easy for people to create a variety of course types, with fun/interactive elements without needing special software like Articulate/Captivate. Thanks to Coassemble I now have a handful of people in our organization that can create, manage, and grade courses. I also really like the assignments option; this is something sorely lacking in other LMS platforms. We literally use the platform every single day and rely on it for onboarding and upskilling our workforce. Additionally the chat-based support is convenient and the team is AMAZING. They are quick to resolve challenges and accept feedback/suggestions. It was very easy to setup Coassemble and it didn't take long to fully migrate our content over from a competitor that was double the annual cost. While we don't use the APIs currently, I can see value in this for other organizations looking integrate Coassemble into their other SAAS platforms. Keep up the great work Coassemble team. **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** There have been a few minor things that have popped up during my time with Coassemble and each time I've shared challenges/feedback with their team. In every case they've responded promplty. We're really able to brand our company across the entire platform throughout all of our trainings. We utilized their design service, which was very beneficial and helped us improve our content creation. **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** After Coassemble released a software patch, we experienced several glitches. Onboarded about 60 students so far and pilot testing the speed, ease of use and UX. It is a solid product. My beta testers all feedback the UI/UX is beautiful. Only one user noticed that it's CoA in the sub-domain - but that's because she's using thinkrific and even she was impressed. **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** Had some challenges with bulk enrollment. But support walked me through. I can batch upload email addresses according to their levels. The zapier auto enrolment via zapier requires a premium zapier account which cost would justify once I have more students onboard. Email export is not possible but a simple copy and paste does the job. My workaround plan is actually build a membership site (free tier) and onboard them on CoA as premium tier - or the other way round. no customisable student dashboard, unable to sell courses unless pay for zapier and shopify, **Recommendations to others considering Coassemble:** Try the demo. Unmatched. **What problems is Coassemble solving and how is that benefiting you?** Each LMS takes at least 3months to test. With CoA, I can work on new courses and iterate at a very fast speed now that I have a fast workflow from my content production. I can now focus on marketing and content development. I signed up and was able to build out 12 complete courses WITH quizzes/pop quizzes within 7 days!! SEVEN DAYS! Prior to having Coassemble, our onboarding/training process was manual, exhaustive, and prehistoric. It is now an essential tool to our organization and all others within the company. Made me look very impressive to my peers and CEO! Ha! To add, the Coassemble team is incredibly helpful and attentive. They are quick to reply and check in regularly which is so appreciated! **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** Like all things with tech, there are little features here and there that would come in handy but nothing major to report! **What problems is Coassemble solving and how is that benefiting you?** Coassemble has completely streamlined our training and onboarding processes. Before having Coassemble, our onboarding/training was very hands-on and took many hours away from Leadership that could've been used elsewhere. There is no real version control for walking back changes, and there is only a notes section to host the transcriptions for video modules. We chose Coassemble because of how easy it is to use - for both the learner and an administrator. The feedback from both trainers and learners has been excellent and I immediately had key stakeholders ask for trainer access so they can create content for their smaller teams - I call that a huge sign of success! **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** It's honestly hard to find something I dislike - but I will say that some of the reporting pages can take a long time to load. We are a larger-sized company so this may not affect smaller customers and I've heard they're actively working on an update. For any other issue though, the support team has been quick to respond and offer a solution. **Recommendations to others considering Coassemble:** We looked at dozens of LMS platforms (and you should too) before deciding that Coassemble was the right fit for us. While it doesn't have all the big fancy features that other LMS platforms do, you may not actually need them. Take advantage of Coassemble's Starter Plan to try the platform out with a pilot group - we did this for all new hires within a 4 week period and not only did it help us decide if Coassemble was right for us, but we also gained some valuable takeaways for our official launch. Lastly, utilize Coassemble's support team - I reached out to them through the chat multiple times a day as we prepared for launch and they were always very helpful and knowledgeable. Now that we're a few months in, they've continued to offer the same level of support as they did upon launch! **What problems is Coassemble solving and how is that benefiting you?** The slow to load reporting pages as mentioned above. If I'm in a rush I can download the data in excel and pull the numbers on my own, but if the reporting pages all worked flawlessly then this would save me time. Whenever I get tripped up on anything, I can usually find a quick video online to help, or the Chat function is amazing! The chatters are always so nice and give personal attention so you can learn and retain everything. And when we do have the occasional issue, the team at Coassemble is extremely responsive and quick to help and get things resolved. There are never "canned" responses that keep the problem from being resolved quickly. I never have to wait very long for a reply to an email I've sent. As a trainer, I am also able to view the progress of each trainee, as in whether they have started or completed an assigned course. I can also view the amount of time each trainee has spent on specific sections. **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** It would be more user-friendly, if we were able to copy and paste one screen/module to another course (or drag and drop). At times, it takes a while for the "existing library" to load. **Recommendations to others considering Coassemble:** It's a great platform for training large amounts of employees. **What problems is Coassemble solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to create quizzes in Coassemble allows me to save a significant amount of time. Great for onboarding new members to our team. Most of the platform is pretty straightforward and easy to navigate. It's also very easy to make changes or updates to your courses. **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** The interactive screens need some work. Some users may experience frozen screens or glitches when trying to interact with screens that require them to move answers in order or other screens that have some interactive component. This will prevent some users from being able to finish a screen and progress. Thankfully, Coassemble has been making many strides in updating and refining the UI, and it's improving steadily. **What problems is Coassemble solving and how is that benefiting you?** Onboarding users to our team was a very hands-on process before. Coassemble has solved this by making our training course virtual and providing our new users with an easy way to self-train and progress without taking up as much bandwidth from our internal team. ### 48. Have I found bugs? Absolutely. But the versatility in presentation styles has made content delivery simple and elegant. I like that I can add accommodations (like audio voiceovers) easily. They have also made a whole host of improvements to the course development tools. As a content hosting and delivery medium, it's phenomenal. **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** This site will NOT competently manage more than likely 100 students on an account. My company added closer to 20,000 users and BOY did that not go well. Assigning a course takes about a week to not crash. (Mind you, the site crashes all the time while I'm building on it. Get used to saving your work and refreshing the page A LOT.) I was sold the enterprise package on the ability to run reports and view even basic things like who has accessed my courses. NONE of that has worked. I should have millions of data points by now and I barely have 1000 because the reporting is so broken. The company has had no responsiveness (we've been a customer since June). I'm only now getting to speak with anyone about it. **Recommendations to others considering Coassemble:** If you're a small company, this is VERY usable. If you have a greater size, you will not like Coassemble. **What problems is Coassemble solving and how is that benefiting you?** Obstensively, Coassemble was meant to be a customer learning tool to tackle onboarding and continued learning supports. I would like to think that this would allow me to not focus on basic onboarding calls, but I have no records to connect to learners, success, even attempts. It was like drinking from fire hose for learners and a large burden for the employee (not an official trainer!). It was ineffective and stressful. Now learners can go through content at their own pace, re-watch/read content, and reference back when they get started in their new role. It's a game changer. ### 50. It's intuitive and gives you the tools you need to make your vision come to life! **What do you dislike about Coassemble?** I wish it was easier to use the groups feature to segment out different learner groups, but there are workarounds that make this doable and the team is always available to help answer questions which has given us a lot of peace-of-mind. **What problems is Coassemble solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the problem of expensive on-site training for our clients.
