What do you like best about Cleo?

That the app does what it says it will do and that it provides snarky but straight forward, honest humor or enlightenment at the same time and at your own expense (pun intended). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cleo?

If you're splitting your paycheck into several or multiple accounts it can sometimes make it tricky to get funds in an appropriate amount compared to your income because not every account hooks up to these kind of apps etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cleo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sometimes and usually I don't have quite enough to get from one pay check to the next so I use this app to help me bridge that gap. But if you don't find a way to make that gap full on your own, you just end up paying back the money each paycheck only to borrow it right back so you are just borrowing to pay it back and not getting ahead is what I'm trying to say. Maybe it's because I spend too much instead of trying to get ahead sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Cleo?

Cleo is a micro loan app in which is useful for getting out a pinch financially. The app contains a sassy ai in which will mess with the user a little bit, but that is what I like about it. The positivity along with the business side of it, ensuring CLEO is paid back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cleo?

The profane use of the ai on there. It goes from sass to crass when it comes to that, and it is not helpful when I am trying to complete a task on there. I do not care for how it cannot verify a bank or a credit union easily, and how it cannot verify a user's income. This makes obtaining a bigger advance difficult, and just throws me back to using something I have to wait three days in order to receive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cleo solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps solve capital issue a tiny bit. It is extra money that is never taxed, and can be used for whatever the need is. This is an economic issue I'm sure many have, and sometimes huge amounts of capital just is not available for whatever the case may be. Therefore, Cleo has created this solution. What do you like best about Cleo?

CLEO AI is not very user-friendly, as the interface is very difficult to learn and use. Almost everything has to be asked of the virtual assistant, where a strict menu system would be much more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cleo?

CLEO AI was very misleading about its fee structure. In my case, I was asked to pay the $5.99 monthly fee in order to receive the advance, and once the fee was paid, there was a process that had to be completed.

After paying the fee and completing the process, I was told that I didn’t qualify for the advance but that I could still utilize CLEO’s other features.

This was not very straightforward, because had I known that I would not be able to receive the advance, I wouldn’t have wasted my $5.99 that I paid for the monthly fee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
