Chattermill allows you to read the feedback left by customers and it filters it with the score and the comment itself, it's very fun to use and it is very useful for self development.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

Everything is great, however in some cases despite the comment being a positive one shows a grey smiley face. But very fun to use

**What problems is Chattermill solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main benefit is being able to have a hands on view of the feedback left by the customers you interact with, I also love how it summarises what the customers are saying about you in short snappy keywords.

Chattermill is an :sparkles:amazing:sparkles: tool that uses artificial intelligence :robot_face: to automatically analyse CHI and Trustpilot feedback from our customers to gauge how they feel about specific topics.
It'll reveal super valuable insights and provide in depth answers to questions like:
"why are my teams' customers talking about billing 30% more negatively than other teams this week?"
"Are customers happier with abc since we introduced xyz?", etc, etc, etc...

It really allowed me to reward and celebrate my team whilst also understanding the sentiment of our customer base.

I found it challenging at times to rely on filtered themes as this didn't always align with the customer experience.

How easy it is to get to insights. I like the custom dashboards specific to my role, which means I don't have to look hard for insights relevant to me.

Can't think of anything I dislike at the moment, it fits my use case perfectly.

**What do you like best about Chattermill?**

We have transformed our manual admin and time consuming data entry work, which was open to human error and misinterpretation, into an automated-algorithm tool that takes out the subjectivity of what customers are talking about, greatly reduced our manual data entry and has given us far greater levels of granularity in our data.
Onboarding was extensive and customised to our needs, which made it a relatively smooth process to get up and running.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

For our purposes, it's a good fit and has improved our ecosystem. However, if you were hoping it will solve all your problems and tell you exactly what's going on with a 'decision' at the end of the data, this is not what this tool is for. You will still need a educated human to come up with the next steps.

**What problems is Chattermill solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We ingest our Customer Support and NPS data, which was previously a heavily manual process for a team member.
We have increased the accessibility of data to other parts of the business, by now having self-serve dashboards that are set-and-forget.
The ease of access to this data has increased the level of interest and conversation about the topics coming out of our department, which were previously 'out of sight, out of mind'.

**What do you like best about Chattermill?**

Chattermill has transformed how we analyze feedback from all our channels - online, app and in store. We use it to integrate multiple data sources like NPS, surveys, review sites and social media so we get a full view of our customers. 
My favourite thing about Chattermill is the sentiment analysis. Because it looks at keywords in context it means I can be confident about what matters most to our customers.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

It's hard to say about the disadvantages. For us, this is an analytical tool with no alternative.

**What problems is Chattermill solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We process text comments in NPS surveys and product reviews. Using Chattermill saves us a huge number of working hours on analyzing the requests and needs of our clients.

Chattermill is fast, accurate, and reliable. It has significantly reduced the time my team and I spend on analysing customer feedback and making them more actionable. It has also helped us translate and collate feedback across several countries and languages. We have even used it to measure our customer success KPIs.

The summary of the feedback sometimes is a bit biased towards one odd theme.

Chattermill is helping the Product teams to be able to quickly review the customer feedback in a short span of time and focus on addressing customer pain points. This has significantly reduced the time we spend on analysing customer feedback across channels.

not much really. Some of the AI is not quite right for the categorisations but this will be corrected and is learning - very minimal issues

It has a great AI tool to summarize customer feedback from multiple sources (Zendesk, Forms, App reviews, ...) and provides actionable insights and automatically identifies emerging trends that directly inform my product strategy.

There's a bit of a learning curve, and the navigation is not always very intuitive.

**What problems is Chattermill solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pre-Chattermill, I found it difficult and time consuming to collect and digest the customer feedback that was scrambled in different places. Chattermill now allows me to quickly highlighting key points of friction, such as specific issues within our booking funnel, allowing me to prioritize changes based on actual customer sentiment and impact.

**What do you like best about Chattermill?**

As a Product Designer, I mostly use Chattermill during the early parts / discover stages of my project. Chattermill is a great way for me to understand user sentiments across our various communication channels and to help me pinpoint areas of further interested. I appreciate the design of the platform, the ability to create custom dashboards that I can share / link to for collaboration. 
Being able to query our user sentiments based on search inputs and/or aspect of our app is super valuable as well. Besides discovery matters, I user Chattermill to build reports internally.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

While I do appreciate Chattermill as a product, I've found their AI features lacking. Eventhough the AI summaries can be useful, they sometimes (often) fall apart in rationale upon further scrutiny. I'm not sure if this is specific to Chattermill since many genAI tools halucinate.

**What problems is Chattermill solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chattermill helps me get a quick overview of user sentiments and helps me direct my research in Product Designer (UX/UI) endeavours and as arguments (their dashboards) when writing business proposals

-> Best and user friendly UI for analyzing the results with lot of customized options for end users.
-> Easy data transfers using their cloud buckets.
-> Quick response provided every time if there are any issues or help needed.
-> Their AI capabalities is really good in the market.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

-> Data loss is difficult to track as they don't have any monitoring tool for data transfers.
-> This would be specific to our organization, where we are facing issues with user management and enabling SSO login.

Deriving insights over the customer comments is made easy with chattermill. We have wide range of business users who are benifiting from this to know the customer pain points and take appropriate actions.
It is helping many teams like production, retail, online experience, assortments and others.
Just to give an example using themes and sentiments production team are able to improve stitch quality talking to supplier for fabrics mentioned in the comments.

Love that it summarizes sentiments and groups them accordingly making it easier for users to only look at one summarized phrase to see all related tickets/concerns to it.

dropdowns on the left side is kinda confusing and the color if also not making it easier

This tool helps us during our peak weeks every quarter because the reports are very easy to use, show up summaries real quick and all options can be seen at the sidebar for easy access.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

I don't see any downside to using this tool. The only part that I don't like is the homepage which shows the instructions or a quick manual on how to use the tool.

As part of the technical team of the company, I use this tool to see if there are technical issues that were reported by our customers based on their feedback. Having those information is very important to me since not all agents are reporting the technical issues that our customers reports to us and from Chattermill we'll be able to escalate feedback related to technical to our IT.

**What do you like best about Chattermill?**

As a Product Manager of a global product available in more than 10 markets and 3 continents, it's sometimes challenging to get close to customers to hear their feedback. Chattermill makes this easy by aggregating different feedback sources. Its analysis engine allows to capture key user sentiments by aggregating user comments with good accuracy. The ease of use of the interface makes it particularly intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

The interface could help more the job-to-be-done of users such as Product Managers and tech teams related to the investigation of issues encountered by users of an app/website. As a user once I have identified patterns (set of comments) that I believe need to be investigated, I will need to bring key information back into the development flow so that the analysis can continue (i.e. Jira ticket, sharing with tech team etc.) At the moment this requires a series of manual copy/paste and is a tedious process.

As a Product Manager I need to get closer to customers and hear what they are experiencing using my product. This is available in many different markets and continent. Chattermill is helping me finding product issues that are not evident from current product metrics and analytics used.

I would highlight a few things:
1. Chattermill effectively enables complex NLP categorization of text data at various levels of granularity
2. The native Chattermill dashboard interface allows non-technical users to dig deeper into customer feedback data.
3. The Chattermill team is always incredibly helpful and willing to let us weigh in on  how to make their product better.

I think there is an opportunity for Chattermill to work further on connecting business data to customer feedback data, as currently we use Chattermill to understand customer feedback in a vacuum

We have several different customer feedback channels across products/markets. 
Chattermill neatly categorizes all of this text data into various theme structures and feeds it back into our data warehouse for consumption.
This data is then used by a variety of teams in Product, Operations, Marketing, etc. to drive business actions and improve customer painpoints.

My initial perception of AI summaries at the theme / tag level was happily changed, though the qualitative summaries provided. I felt like they would be too broad to have relevance, though am suprised. It seems well integrated into our ecosystem, and the tools to evolve that integration are clear.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

So far, I do struggle with the inability to use the tool in a sandbox format. I would love to be able to create private themes, dashboards, reports, that are available only to me until I decide to share with surrounding teams. Its possible that our integration is quite restricted on user ability, though wonder if this could be negated by a clear environment where all users can explore freely without breaking production level structures.

This will support in systemic, short term, and urgent product level feedback for my eCommerce realm.

**What do you like best about Chattermill?**

The ability to collate and analyse multiple data points across many of our apps and markets simultaneously is super great. I also really love the AI insights which save me heaps of time in collecting data to share with stakeholders. Chattermill is also really easy to use, and we have onboarded many of our colleagues from various functions to self service themselves when it comes to CX data, so again saving us a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

Sometimes the automated workflows can be a bit buggy, but this is usually fixed quickly and is really a minor flaw.

**What problems is Chattermill solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chattermill helps me keep track of our app review sentiment, key issues and areas for improvement. It enables me to easily summarise and visualise this data to share with product, UX research, customer care, as well as within marketing. Since we have 4 apps operating in 15+ countries, Chattermill saves me a lot of time in analysis. Before I would have to check things manually and had a more 'qualitative' approach, now Chattermill takes the guess work out the analysis and quantifies these insights in a super quick and easy way.

Multiple layers of feedback are centralised in one place, like a one stop shop for understanding customer experience and where we can improve. If we have a question, it's usually answered fairly quickly and promptly. It's easy to use and grab insights quickly.

I don't think there are downsides but like any platform, lots of room to grow. Further integrations, more features to compile reports and a continous improvement for the AI features.

**What do you like best about Chattermill?**

You can connect all your databases and then the tool will analyse very precisely the inputs to give you a comprehensive analysis of your users experience, pain points and satisfaction comments. Our database is in french and the model still manage to understand accurately what we are looking for. I mainly use it for research when I want to analyse a flow but it can also be used as a day to day CSAT monitoring tool. 
I find the tool very easy to use as you just need to enter keywords and get feedback from it.

**What do you dislike about Chattermill?**

There always is a bias with these kind of analysis : user mostly take time to leave a comment when they are unhappy with the service. This aspect doesn't seem to be talen into account in the global rating.

Helps to save time by splitting a big amount of free text into topics and identify the overal narratives. The visualisation posibilities are interesting as well. The team has been responsive and helpful.
