They have an incredibly quick turnaround time on most checks, within a couple hours for some of them, and they interface pretty seamlessly with Drata and Greenhouse which is vital for us. If we have questions or comments, their turnaround time is excellent on those as well! **What do you dislike about Certn?** On occasion, we have checks that don't do well with automation and I'll need to draw their attention specifically to the checks that need a little more finessing. Pretty sure I'd have to do that everywhere though! **What problems is Certn solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to use a clunky service that required a lot of hand-entering data on our end and then it didn't actually sync up with any of the other applications we were using which meant MORE data entry when we got the checks back. You can customize but I usually stick with using my pre-saved packages for my new hires. **What do you dislike about Certn?** One downside I notice about Certn is when I search for a certain email or past check, the search works well. But when I remove the name, the page gets glitchy. The only way to solve this is to refresh your whole page after you're done your search. **What problems is Certn solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think the only problem that CERTN is solving is having a fast turnaround time for background checks. We are a regulated financial institution and need to perform a credit check of certain employees who handle customer funds, per our regulators. The problem is we're seeing only a credit history and not an actual credit score of any kind. I know that Certn support has said that it's a regulatory or policy issue from the credit bureau but not having a credit score of any kind is inconsistent with what our regulators have requested we have. **What problems is Certn solving and how is that benefiting you?** Makes it really clean and easy for us to conduct pre-employment background checks for all prospective new hires. Since switching to Certn we have been able to speed up our hiring process by about 3 weeks compared to our previous background check vendor. Certn has also helped be the base for us to go to a more virtual hiring process. **What do you dislike about Certn?** While Certn has been absolutly excellent, the one big thing we wish it had would be to have a slightly different experience for the "employee". I believe that being able to edit the email sent to the candidate would be highly beneficial. **What problems is Certn solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being the type of agency we are, we are required to a background check each and every employee; our previous vendor was taking a minimum of 4 weeks. This was causing us to lose part-time candidates rapidly. After COVID-19, the process and timeframe to receive a background check grew to 2+ months, but with Certn we get results almost instantly. ### 37.
