Certinal e-Sign Reviews & Product Details

Certinal is an enterprise-grade eSignature platform purpose-built for healthcare and other regulated industries. With integrations across 1,040+ applications, it is designed for high-volume, multi-stakeholder environments where every signature transaction requires structured routing, multi-party authorization, signer identity verification, and audit-defensible evidence. Across the care journey, Certinal powers eSignature workflows for: *Patient intake, registration, and financial authorization *Informed consent for procedures — with witness and clinician countersign *Physician sign-offs on discharge summaries, treatment plans, and clinical orders *Telehealth and remote pre-visit document signing *Diagnostics and lab authorization *HIPAA authorizations, privacy notices, and release of information *Clinical trial and research participant agreements Clinical ops, compliance and privacy officers, front office, nursing, HIM, and IT operate within governed templates standardized across multi-facility health systems. Signing is mobile-first and multilingual, meeting patients at the point of care or ahead of arrival. Every transaction generates an evidence pack linking form version, signer identity, timestamps, and complete activity log. Regulatory and compliance coverage spans eIDAS, ESIGN Act, UETA, HIPAA, CMS-0053-F (the 2026 healthcare e-signature mandate), GDPR, DPDP Act, PDPA, PDPL, CFR Part 11, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. Platform mechanisms include tamper-evident sealing, immutable audit trails, cryptographic integrity, signer authentication, exportable evidence packs, and configurable data residency. Beyond healthcare, Certinal serves regulated verticals with equal depth: BFSI: Loan agreements, account opening, insurance policy execution, and KYC signing with multi-signer routing and field-level access controls across compliance, legal, and relationship managers. Aligned to RBI Digital Lending Guidelines mandating IT Act-compliant digital signatures, GLBA for financial data safeguards, DORA for IT risk resilience across the financial sector, and PCI DSS. Legal & real estate: Engagement letters, NDAs, lease agreements, and closing documents with sequential signing, deadline tracking, and dispute-ready evidence packs. ESIGN and UETA require specific handling for electronic equivalents to promissory notes secured by real property, and state-level rules may still require notarization for deed transfers Certinal's audit trails and identity verification support compliance across jurisdictions. Government & public sector: Citizen-facing forms, procurement contracts, and inter-agency approvals — with role-based access, retention policies, and audit trails aligned to public record requirements. Certinal is API-driven and embeds into existing systems — built for enterprise-scale deployment across departments, facilities, and geographies. Request a demo to see how it maps to your workflows.
