Who is Celoxis pricing best suited for?

According to G2 reviews of Celoxis, the pricing is best suited for mid-market organizations with 51 to 1,000 employees managing multiple concurrent projects with real resource, budget, and timeline complexity. G2 reviewers from industries including information technology, marketing and advertising, consulting, accounting, and construction represent the most active adopters. The Core and Essential tiers appeal to smaller or growing teams needing structured planning without full financial controls, while the Professional and Business tiers are favored by project management offices and client-facing teams requiring timesheets, billing, risk management, and client portals. G2 reviewers from small businesses occasionally note the pricing feels high for simpler or single-project use cases.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Celoxis?

Celoxis does not offer a permanent free version, but G2's pricing data for Celoxis confirms a free trial is available for teams evaluating the platform before committing. Paid plans start at $10.00 per month for the Core tier, which includes Gantt charts, portfolio management, advanced scheduling, and analytics. Higher tiers unlock progressively more capabilities: the Essential tier adds job roles, resource conflict tracking, and data isolation workspaces; the Professional tier introduces timesheets, expense tracking, risk management, and costing; and the Business tier at $45.00 per month adds billing, a free client portal, advanced security, and strategic portfolio management. Custom enterprise quotes are also available.

Is Celoxis considered good value for its pricing?

Celoxis is broadly considered a strong value for mid-market and enterprise teams managing complex, multi-project environments. G2 reviewers consistently highlight the depth of features, including Gantt charts, portfolio management, financial tracking, and resource planning, as justifying the price. High average ratings alongside cost concerns suggest Celoxis is a premium investment rather than a budget tool. G2 reviewers from small businesses and startups frequently flag the per-seat pricing as steep, with several noting it feels expensive for simpler needs. Reviewers comparing Celoxis to Monday.com and Microsoft Project generally find Celoxis's pricing competitive given its enterprise-grade capabilities, though teams needing only lightweight task tracking may find the cost disproportionate to their requirements.

"Exceptional Auto Scheduling and Cross-Project Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Celoxis?

The Auto Scheduling logic is something I really appreciate because it recognizes that time is a limited resource. For example, if you assign a 10 hour task to someone who only has 2 hours free today, Celoxis doesn't simply leave the task unaddressed; instead, it provides a clear visual warning.

When it comes to cross-project dependencies, especially in larger organizations where Project A might rely on a deliverable from Project B, Celoxis manages these inter-project links more effectively than most other mid-market tools I've used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Celoxis?

To get the perfect report, you have to navigate a lot of filters and checkboxes. It’s powerful, but it can feel like you’re coding your project management rather than just do doing .

If not configured correctly, it can spam your inbox with every minor update, which can lead to team members ignoring the tool entirely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
