What do you like best about Canto?

The user interface is really easy to navigate - the sidebar lists all image folders clearly and then diving into the folders, it is easy to scroll through. We have thousands and thousands of images for our organization and Canto makes it easy to both upload and download. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canto?

The search function doesn't always work as I want it to. If I am already in a search results page and I try to search for another topic, the system adds the new word to my current search. I need to go back to the main homepage to restart the search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Canto?

As a small- to medium-sized business, we wanted a tool that could easily be implemented and accessible to our customers and vendor partners. Canto checked those boxes and some. In the 1.5 years of using Canto, it has become an integral part of our business operations. Plus they provide 1 on 1 customer support from a live representative. What do you dislike about Canto?

The only thing that we would like is easier synchronization of our product images to our website. Not sure if this is even a standard use or service provided by DAMs, but if it was that would just save us a step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Canto?

-The ability to be thorough via meta data on assets. I've found that my team that uses Canto in a creative sense can leave comments on images/videos when working through projects, campaigns, etc.

-Portal view! It gives my internal staff a different view and ease of access when locating a specific folder.

-Love the integrations specifically in Canva and Microsoft Suite platforms (PowerPoint, Word, etc). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canto?

-I would like to be able to share assets without having to set up a specific share link.

-It would be nice to be able to upload assets into a folder where sub albums also exist. Similar to folder functionality in a Windows file explorer.

-The inability to delete assets in a share link (this may have been solved for already?)

-Felt a little bummed with the Canto+Hubspot integration. I may have to sit and learn more from the webinar but I was really hoping it would look similar to the integrations that exist in Canva and the Microsoft Suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Canto?

CANTO has helped us organize and FIND the images in our media library. The facial recognition is a remarkable tool and it cuts down on time trying to find the right person. Also the tagging makes it an invaluable tool for categorizing images for search results. Folders and albums are intuitive and the ability to share an album w/out the receiver needing a CANTO login helped our community have access to the images they need. What do you dislike about Canto?

After the clicking on a photo fro a search results you can't go back to the search results listing. It jumps from the chosen image preview to the main directory and not the search results. You have to do the search all over again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Canto?

I absolutely love the AI search features and capabilities of Canto! It has been so easy to locate different types of creative and images for our marketing campaigns all but a quick search of what we are looking for. Historically, we were manually flipping through our photo albums of 1000+ images to find the perfect/one image that fit a specific description. I utilize Canva quite a bit with our email marketing and social media creative, so the seamless integration there has been amazing.

What do you dislike about Canto?

I wish that Canto had more friendly functionality with share the upload links with external clients.

For example, we need to collect all of our external customers logos to display on our site, I wish that we could share one general link with them (that isn't tied to my email) that they can use to upload and files while not being able to view any other uploaded files from other clients. What do you like best about Canto?

Canto allows us to be centralized, searchable, and in brand when it comes to PLNU and our story telling goals. We evaluated a few options but Canto's ease of use and layout made it ideal for our internal stakeholders. Once users experienced the search-ability, implementation was not a huge issue. Integration was easy once we provided a brief training. It is used daily by multiple departments across campus including our own marketing team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canto?

It's hard to give a downside to Canto, honestly. The biggest challenge we had was just to redirect users to what we have rebranded as Loma Photos, however, that was an easier roll out than other platforms may have been. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Canto?

What do you like best about Canto?

The user interface is so easy to use. There are just so many aspects that make sense. I love the relate files feature, I typically relate release forms to our photography. This functionality has been a game-changer for our project manager. Also, download speed is excellent. User management is easy, along with the share abilities. What do you dislike about Canto?

I wish the preview functionality for videos worked better. Although you can store video, it doesn't make sense when the price per gig isn't competitive with other video-only storage services. What do you like best about Canto?

Searchability and sharing are the key things I like best about Canto. My design team is primarily responsible for uploading and organizing files but when complete, I like their ability to provide me with a link which I can use or share with others.
