Cactus Credentialing software is designed to hold medical provider demographic and professional data that health care facilities and insurers must review at regular intervals. The software helps manage this process. Based on the data, one can also run various reports to facilitate both the review process and basic operations. For example, one can run a provider report indicating those with an expired license -- or proactively send reminders that the provider must renew and update the credential. Since health care providers must maintain multiple credentials with different renewal cycles, this is handy. I like that data import limits tedious data entry but found some imported data still needed tweaking or formatting. Ultimately one has a complete electronic profile dossier on each provider that facilities can use for review.
