## Buttercup Reviews
  ### 1. Easy to use, versatile, great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Buttercup?**

- Extremely lightweight
- Extremely easy-to-install
- Independent password manager, which makes it an agnostic platform: easy to integrate on different machines/OS.
- Beautiful, yet simple
- Has an addon-on supported on browers for password prompt
- Support mobile app for both Android and iOS
- Double authentication
- Superb customer support
- Use it frequently to store my credentials, as it is dependent on your local encrypted file and not shared between sessions on browsers; Buttercup is more secured, but this makes it somewhat strange.

**What do you dislike about Buttercup?**

- There are still bugs on Mobile App
- Strange design: The file is locally encrypted. This means even though you can store your encrypted file on Gmail, you still have to remember one master password to the vault, as if you forget, there is absolutely no recourse. (There is a plan to fix this on a roadmap, but currently it is not there yet)

**What problems is Buttercup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buttercup helps me save secured passwords, as I often forget my passwords.

**What do you like best about Buttercup?**

I no longer forget my passwords or need to use the same password for everything just to remember them.

**What do you dislike about Buttercup?**

I've bee using Buttercup for a year now and I haven't found anything that I don't like.

**What problems is Buttercup solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the problem of remembering passwords or writing them down. That benefits me by adding security and convenience to my password keeping.
