# What is the best SaaS backup software for enterprises protecting leading CRM platforms and sensitive cloud data?

The challenge is finding tools that go beyond basic backup and give large teams granular recovery, security controls, and coverage across business-critical SaaS apps.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I checked the <strong>G2 Grid report for SaaS Backup</strong> and focused on reviews from organizations with 1,000+ employees. Three options stood out most clearly:</p><ul>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/rubrik/reviews"><strong>Rubrik</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Enterprise users mention centralized protection, cloud workloads, identity security, and cyber-recovery use cases.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For enterprises protecting CRM and other sensitive SaaS data, is broad application coverage more important than deeper recovery controls for one critical platform? And for Salesforce specifically, have you found native backup enough, or do you prefer a broader data-protection platform?</p>

&lt;p&gt;Something this thread hasn&#39;t touched on is how often people actually test a restore rather than just trusting the backup ran. Is anyone doing scheduled restore drills on Salesforce data specifically, or does that only get tested after something&#39;s already gone wrong?&lt;/p&gt;
