"Buildium makes property management efficient and organized."

What do you like best about Buildium?

Buildium is easy to navigate and access for owners, tenants, and employees. The support is helpful and respectful. I use Buildium every single day for 8 hours a day and I am very thankful for how easy it is to use. Buildium makes owners happy by having the rental owner statement available and easy to access, tenants love being able to pay and get renters insurance on their portal. It is easy to enter leases and list properties for rent. We have been using Buildium for many years and cannot imagine trying to manage our properties without them!!! What do you dislike about Buildium?

What I appreciate most about Buildium is how seamlessly it brings together all aspects of property management into one platform. The automation of rent collection and lease renewals saves a significant amount of time, and the tenant portal makes communication smooth and professional. I also like the accounting features—they’re detailed yet user-friendly, allowing me to track income, expenses, and generate reports without switching tools.

"The perfect screening website to thoroughly process applications for future tenants."

What do you like best about Buildium?

They have a very detailed screening report. I love how easy it is to make notes in the applicant's summary page. Now that the system has updated, it's way easier to link applications together and keep the Cosigner linked with their applicants. The customer support team is always on top of making sure the system is working correctly. I have been using their website for 3 years now, and I love their system and would recommend it to anyone. What do you dislike about Buildium?

What do you like best about Buildium?

I like the flexibility Buildium has with all the different services it syndicates with like Tenant Turner, Monday (CRM), eLeasing! Buildium is also very user friendly, I am on the road for most of my work day and appreciate the ease and speed, I can obtain property, tenant, or applicant information! What problems is Buildium solving and how is that benefiting you?

Traditional accounting systems do not serve to real estate businesses and it is very difficult to see property level financial KPIs. Plus we do not get non fianncial data in other accounting softwares like lesee's name, security deposit, unit number etc. So Buildium is a good mix of non finance and finance software. Thanks, Deeksha! While the default accounting method in Buildium is Cash basis, you can change the setting to Accrual by going to your Application Setting page and selecting "Accrual." You're also able to set up trust accounting warnings, fiscal year end date and more from this page. Hope that helps!

As for cost, be sure to take a look at where you might be able to optimize your subscription, whether it's reducing your unit ceiling if you aren't using all of the units in your subscription, or getting a discount for switching from monthly pricing to annual pricing.
