**What do you dislike about BINK?**

It provides directions on using sound effects, but I am still looking for more from this information. It would be helpful if it provided more information on properly using and applying sound effects. But I appreciate its active customer care service; they answered every question I needed.

**What do you like best about BINK?**

At my job, we are strict about overall image clarity and work hard to make sure our cinematics look great. Their performance was far beyond our expectations. Bink provided high-quality video and audio, used few resources, was simple and easy to integrate. RAD tools have a great impact, as they are easy to use and the final results are amazing, the best thing is that it is compatible with multiple systems like windows MAC OS, Wii and others.

**What do you dislike about BINK?**

It requires a large amount of space, so you need a computer with high capacity, leaving out old systems and limiting its work to new equipment on the market, which are not available to everyone.

**Recommendations to others considering BINK:**

the main recommendation for the use of this tool is to have a computer with large memory and updated systems to get the best out of the program, thus obtaining a complete and satisfactory experience.

**What problems is BINK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my work, it has given us a new experience for the management of audio and video, superior quality, and adequate service to the needs. Quality graphics and excellent resolution are attractive at the end of the work.

**What do you like best about BINK?**

The image quality is excellent, an essential feature of our product. Supported format types for audio and video are massive!! It is a simple-to-use product. It plays a backbone for our development.

**What do you dislike about BINK?**

Price is a bit high for small companies. Also, sometimes, the application crashes. I have file bugs for it with the dev team. Hope to get it fixed soon with recent updates.

**What problems is BINK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for some videos inside our native applications. Also for the advertisements, we are using BINK. For internal event videos too, we use BINK. This application is a good way to attract customers.

  ### 7. BINK Video application review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2022

**What do you like best about BINK?**

BINK provides very vast support for multiple audio and video file formats. It is straightforward to use and provides one of the best user experiences and support. It is effortless to compress audio and video, which entirely depends on your screenplay requirements.

**What do you dislike about BINK?**

BINK takes a lot of memory to work which makes the tool a little less stable than other products in the market. It also does not provide many major facilities that are required while creating a screenplay. Epic games should work on making it stable and should try adding some more functionalities to it which will help the community grow.

**Recommendations to others considering BINK:**

Before using this application, please go through the complete support documentation as it provides many functionalities that are difficult to track and easily misunderstood. It is also required to keep an eye on the new updates provided by epic games as they usually out roll a new set of functionalities and different techniques annually.

**What problems is BINK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BINK is straightforward to use and provides one of the best user experiences and support. It is effortless to compress audio and video, which entirely depends on your screenplay requirements. In our organization, we mainly use this application to create attractive visuals and help us grow in terms of customers.

  ### 8. Don't Blink or You'll Miss BINK

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan R. | Udemy Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2021

**What do you like best about BINK?**

It's an industry standard. It runs on most game engines which is great so no matter whether I am using Unreal Engine, Unity I can use the pre-written plugins. The integrated tools for compressing and viewing videos is also a great feature. They have added a plugin for Adobe Premiere as well as Adobe Media Encoder. BINK2 is now faster and can be used for in-game videos as well as cinematic cut-scenes. The 4k support allows us to use this for console games as well as PC games which is really great. With BINK being self contained it doesn't any additional software to be used.

**What do you dislike about BINK?**

So far we haven't come across anything that we don't like about the software. They are doing a really good job and we look forward to implementing it as much as possible in our project.

**Recommendations to others considering BINK:**

If you are looking to implement any videos in your games, I highly recommend using BINK. There's a reason that it's one of the most used tools by professional studios.

**What problems is BINK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently using BINK to help with in-game videos and some cut-scene cinematics that I have been trying to implement in other codecs but found BINK to be the better choice.

  ### 9. User point of view

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2022

**What do you like best about BINK?**

It can access as a static library about 282 KB and completely standalone. It needs 2 full YUV12 video buffers in memory. In this way it consumes less memory than others.

**What do you dislike about BINK?**

The price could have been much more effective and the user specificed platform should be much more compatible. There should be much more GUI. The UI and the base version could be much more user-friendly.

**What problems is BINK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working with PS4 toolchain and also includes API for the GPU platform. The cost is way effective and gives the result as per the market standards. All together the system works in a proficient manner.

  ### 10. User point of view

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2022

**What do you like best about BINK?**

The library is completely standalone and the memory textures compress with the requirement. OS and IO tools can be used for the operations. It is cross-platform compatible and hence gives a huge competition.

**What do you dislike about BINK?**

The GPU could be much better in graphics but yes the pricing and the user compatibility are way better. It has some bigger overload functions but it does not affect much in long run.

**What problems is BINK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

4k video decoding can be solved easily with less effort and less capital also. The increase in working can be seen easily and works as per the market standards. The video capability features are nice.

  ### 11. The best video codec of the millennia

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about BINK?**

Its simple to use and the compression doesn't take much time to compress the videos. I didn't face any major bugs while i was using the software. The UI was clean and perfect for a beginner.

**What do you dislike about BINK?**

I had encountered a few minor bugs which I hope would be fixed with further updates. The application crashed one or two times. The price kinda seems a bit high for a indie developer like me.

**What problems is BINK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I created a standalone indie game and used bink video for video codec operations. It was pretty helpful and has a great community. The game I've developed was just a prototype. Looking forward to create more with BINK.

  ### 12. Highly recommended codec

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2018

**What do you like best about BINK?**

Excellent codec. Fantastic for high-quality videos and so fast. The best possible video no matter what. It is present in several major video games.

**What do you dislike about BINK?**

The compression is not as high as other codecs. I think it's something that can be improved, but when the video looks so good, it hardly matters and is a highly recommended option.

**Recommendations to others considering BINK:**

Perhaps they should improve the compression to make it the best codec on the market, but it is incredible how many systems and video games use it, like the 2k studio, a true reference in the world of video games with presence on Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PC, etc....

**What problems is BINK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very good quality of video in motion. Excellent compression, although there are better options.

  ### 13. Great for Full Motion Video

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert W. | Technical Business Analyst, Wholesale, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2016

**What do you like best about BINK?**

Excellent codec. Terrific for high quality video and so fast. Best possible video no matter what.

**What do you dislike about BINK?**

The compression isn't as high as other codecs. I think that is something that can be improved, But when the video looks this good, it barely matters.

**What problems is BINK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Full motion video. Excellent compression, albeit not the best.
