We are not allowed to code invoices, can only pay with PO's unless flagged NO PO. Continually creating new PO's to cover overages on invoices. Alot of invoices come back saing po used in full, but we can't see what AP sees in Baan. The Basware invoice management console is very intuitive, and the UI is not complex. Business users like minimalist UI for such Pyabales processing tool. 3. The support by Basware is best in class, whenever we have faced a data interfacing issue with our ERP, we have logged tickets in their system. Basware support has always helped us in every situation of difficulty. **What do you dislike about Basware?** Till now Basware has been an excellent value addition to our Payables invoice and payment processing system. One feature of Basware needs some improvement. The processing of pdf invoices by Basware needs improvement. Basware reads pdf invoices and auto-populates the invoice data in the system, but this machine reading of pdf is not 100 % accurate yet and needs human supervision. **What problems is Basware solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Basware solution lets us automatically receive and process electronic invoices into our accounting system. We have multi-level approval configured in our system, such that payables invoices go for two rounds of approval before being considered for payment. Basware removes a lot of manual effort in data entry and correction. Issues that we've come across, support has been quick to address. **What do you dislike about Basware?** Beyond the system being a little pokey when changing approvers from in to out of office if they have a lot of assigned orders, there's not much. More shortcut keys would make things even simpler to use. Sometimes, system-loaded invoices will use dates that are not in the proper format. It would be ideal if the dates appeared as "mm-dd-yyyy." We receive a warning that if the location amount is not calculated, we cannot progress with the next steps and we are unable to post cross-location entries, for instance, if any adjustment entry between one location to another location cannot be set off. We are unable to obtain a list of the loaded invoices for a specific day. The program doesn't issue a duplicate-warning alert if a single invoice is imported twice and the invoice number is in a different format because everything else is the same. **What problems is Basware solving and how is that benefiting you?** We upload the invoices into Basware, and the individual business owner approves each invoice, giving it credibility. Once the invoice is loaded, we move it to Intacct to speed up processing and reduce time. That's where we used Basware for our e-invoicing setups and pushed the invoices directly from our AR to clients AP. That helped us to fast-track the Invoice dispatch process. This also gave us the flexibility to try on our purchase side as well. And benefited on that side as well. **What do you dislike about Basware?** Basware is a good tool. But we have so many third-party invoice handlers and many of our vendors and clients are on different setups. Now, this becomes sometimes really difficult to connect with their format of XML/cXML/ or flat files. And because of that we either have to leave it or do a lot of developments to adjust that.
